Frustrated beyond belief! (No stars deserved)
Called to check "my" car was still available, told salesman it would take me 90 minutes to get there, got there to be told the car was sold 5 minutes earlier.

Bought my 2008 Calais on the 2nd May 2020 from United Autos NSW within Car City, Minchinbury.
Not one block from yard and the engine light comes on. However, I was offered a whiz bang warranty at a further cost of $1000 that does not cover worn parts (note: lifters are a worn part) which I refused to purchase. I continued to drive home anyway because it was after business hours at this point and I had a 530km trip home to Coffs Harbour ahead of me. I thought there can't be too much wrong, right? It's just had a blue slip?......Or has it?
I boo...ked in to my mechanic for a service only to be told it needs 4 new tyres, a brake pedal pad and the engine light is an oil pressure switch ($260 to replace). My mechanic offered to replace tyres for $150 each, I rang [Name Removed] to discuss what could be done, the car I bought that was sold to me with a road worthy was not road worthy! He told me $150 per tyre was too expensive for a Calais... Like to see cheaper? I was also welcome to bring it back to them so they could have their mechanic look at it. They knew full well that I lived a 7 hour drive away, which i was not prepared to do on 4 bald tyres. After many back and forth texts and being ignored for a period of 5 days, I was eventually told they'd give me $20 for a new brake pedal pad. They also refused to tell me who has done the blueslip. Anthony told me there's 28 mechanics in the immediate area and it could have been any one of them. Apparently they dont keep records of acquired blue slips. Not good enough! I contacted Fair Trading, who asked for forms related to sale of car that I should have received, I didn't receive any. I have been slow to answer Fair Tradings emails as I'm a single mum with 3 jobs, it has been hard to find time and money to get car in for a mechanics report.

Do not go there biggest mistake it will be of your life stay away car City minchabury they cheats and they will and great at cover everything even up if U try two do fight two get purchase they say take it or lose your deposit and hole place no s not just one dealer involved in covering it up deposit receipt 10 000 they would not show me car I payed $10 000 deposit card until I payed another $3800 had be cash would not expect card they drove me bank get cash I payed rest cash when I got back they had modified documents from $13800 two $10000 a...nd the car was modified different front end as well so ask my money back they say no sign the new paper work or lose my deposit $10000 and still had pay $3800 cash on-top or lose my deposit take take modified car different two one I payed deposit on do not go there do not go there do not go there do not go there do not go there
Disgraceful customer service.
I bought a Kia suv from here and it should never of passed rego and was unsafe and illegal for them to hand over a the car with a battery 1/2 the recommended-size and not bolted down. When I asked about it all I got was battery is not part of there 30 day warranty. NO care that I the customer could of been hurt
Department of Fair Trading has had many dealing with this yard.
I wish I had of done better research before purchasing a vehicle from them.

I bought a car in August online during lockdown and the car was delivered to my place. I thought the service was great. There was no service book that came with the car. I was under the impression that one of your mechanic's makes sure the car is roadworthy. I know now that this is not true. I had to get the car registered in September and to my dismay, the car has not been serviced for a very long time. The worst being that the brake shoes were worn down so when I braked it was metal on metal. There was a list as long as my arm with things...that had to be done to make this car roadworthy. Shame on you Car City!!! If you put money first over the safety of people, that is criminal!!! I am disappointed in myself for trusting what I thought was a reputable car sales.

Needs to be closed down now, puts lives at risk.
They have risked my daughter and grandchildren's lives.
1st vehicle replaced it failed after 600km and could not be repaired, replacement vehicle also failed after 600km, motor rebuilt on second, failed again, alternator replaced yesterday, they refused to pay, my daughter and 12month old baby stranded on the highway again now because the vehicle has failed again.
It has cost my daughter thousands in repairs just to keep her and her kids safe.

Worst Customer care ever.
Sent my Ute back for repair, been almost 7 weeks so far and no Ute far from a reasonable amount of time.
Keep getting told that it has multiple issues and story changes from who you talk to about what work has been done.
I have asked neuromas times for a loan car, replacement vehicle or full refund with cost of added extras, towing and parts replaced that I have paid for, all I get told is we are working on you vehicle and it will get done.
I have submitted a letter of demand which has been ignored and have even been accused of lying by Dan him...
I brought a used car from western city autos, didn't even get home and it blew a head gasket, the strut tower has a crack in it the suspension is shot. I live 4 hours away from dealership, I have to return the car to their shotty mechanic so they can replace the engine this coming Friday. So here's to hoping I don't fry the car on the way back to killa bee mechanical ( guessing that's their dodgy mechanic ). I aint paying for a tow back to Sydney, that's close to $1500. I'm not going to let this go [Name Removed], I will be contacting fair trad...ing and then I will also be contacting the ombudsman come Monday.. What tops it off is I found a dirty used needle in the car. I swear these clowns go to auctions by cars and just throw them on the lot without inspection of any kind. If you see these phony good comments about there ignore it or you will regret it

I had to buy a new car due to being in a car accident and went back to simple cars (the biggest dealer at car city) and was looked after on the price of my car I bought from them
this is the second car my partner and I have bought from them and highly recommend them as sales staff are not pushy and they offer the 5 year warranty at a cost but I also got that on the first car and also this car and haven't had to use it as the cars are in good condition

Looking for those who have had issues with Fresh Autos at Car City. I have a Tribunal hearing and want to show the history of "dodgy dealers" and fight to get my money back!
Recently purchased as 2010 Suzuki Swift .$8k ..upon pick up I had to wait 2 hours as it was being registered so a blue slip was obtained that day also. . I tried strapping my daughter's car seat in only to find seatbelt was not bolted in . I drove home only to realise I had no break lights 2 hour trip very dangerous situation so blue slip must have been dodgy. .. I now have major issues with breaks and stearing .. cars leaking fluid and making loud winding noise when I start it up and accelerate .. I contacted Kings motors only to be told it has no warranty I bought the care 8 days ago ... I've contacted ACCC and fair trading . Are they responsible for repairs as I've been sold a Lemon !!!
Not true I've spoken too Fairtrading ... Had a mechanic look over the car it's now been Deemed unroad worthy a blue slip was obtained the date of purchase so they need to rectify all issues ..
