After 6 years my treadmill still works perfectly
I am recently looking at updating my treadmill as my one is a little aged and the two rubber wheels at the back finally gave way last week, I could replace them but I think the machine has done its job. I have been researching new treadmills and think I will go with cadiotech again !! I rarely write reviews but when researching new machines read a few bad ones, which I can't agree with. The one I have now would probably go for more years to come, but I believe I'm ready for an upgrade. Since purchasing my cardio tech treadmill around 6 years ag...o, my friends and family have used the treadmill without incident so I can recomend this product and company with high confidence. Expensive once warranty ends, terrible customer service
I purchased a CardioTech X9+ treadmill because it is advertised by an ex Olympian, and every time I use treadmill I see his face on the deck looking back reminding me that I fell for his advertising.
I had not even owned the treadmill for 3 years before the controls stopped responding and the treadmill began to go slow and fast, making a high pitched sound, displaying intermittent error messages before ceasing to go at all. I was told I would have to pay a $100p...er hour for service call out fee and it would be another $325.00 to replace the control sensor. I understand wear and tear, but for a major component to go so soon, I am so disappointed and wish I had just gone for the $500 Rebel Sport model. Also even if I pay to fix the machine, I will only receive a 30 day warranty on that part. Soo I'm left with a very large expensive dust collector. Customer service is poor - you cannot get through to anyone directly e.g. service repairs, you must call a 1300 number and wait for them to call you back. In my case this was one week and only after I called them a second time. This is not the fast response time advertised!
Lifetime warranty on the motor, haha yeah right.
I recently purchased a x9+ and shortly after the motor has stopped working. While I am not the original owner I told the rep that I could track down the purchase receipt and there is even a sticker on the machine stating "lifetime warranty on the motor", yet he said the lifetime warranty only applies to the original owner... how is that even legal?

I personally have 3 machines, the CV12 vibration machine, massage chair and GLR4 bike and I LOVE them all as i feel they all serve complete purposes in my life!! The service Cardio Tech team has given is above and beyond my expectations, not only have they guided me through my purchases the support given to me as a client is wonderful. I live interstate and to receive such service is a credit to the team at Cardio Tech!!

A joke of an organisation
Do not deal with [Name Removed] as once as he gets his sale he is rude, slow at returning emails and never is able to come to the phone, he would rather the faulty treadmill be returned through fair trading then replying to his customers he is a very poor form manger!
Absolutely shocking customer service
I Have a faulting treadmill that customer service are failing at following up official complaint lodged with department of fair trading as the company passes the buck and tells me I have no rights and promises a tech but failed to arrange! Do not purchase from this company.
Best Products, Best Warranties, Outstanding Service - Second to NONE!!!
My experience at CardioTech Grand Central was nothing short of Amazing, I went in to purchase a treadmill and walked out with the fabulous pink X9Pro & a red Lifeback WBV machine, as well as a whole new outlook on life and what exercise can & will do for me. The Manager was beyond amazing & so incredibly knowledgable, she took one look at me & could see that I had back problems just from looking at my posture, after discussing my physical ailments with her, she got me onto the Lifeback and told me to activate my core muscles by sucking my belly...button in, said that by strengthening up my core it would in-turn strengthen the muscles in my back and assist with the rehabilitation of my back as well as assist with or even alleviate my pain, she was NOT wrong! I was also given the tips that I needed in order to shed my extra 15kg's by using the treadmill on it's Heart Rate programs with the Polar strap in conjunction with the lifeback to build my lean muscle mass, as well as a basic exercise regime that I could do and in a fraction of the time that I thought possible. It is now 2mths on since my purchase, I have lost 8kg's & have toned up incredibly, I no longer suffer from any pain in my back and have so much more energy as well as being a happier person. I pop in and see [Name removed] when in the centre and she always gives me little tips and loves seeing my progress as well as encourages me to keep up the great work, she is an inspiration with her own health & fitness story. So thank you CardioTech for your amazing services and products, I recommend you to all of my family & friends as you have helped me turn my life around for the better!!!
Horrible Product - Cardio Tech
We have had constant issues with our Cardio Tech Treadmill. Biggest mistake i made was to buy an Ex- Demo model. We have had the motor replaced Thrice, Carpet on the treadmill replaced thrice, LCD Panel on the treadmill replaced once and then finally geting a smoke smell coming out of the motor which is when i called them up to advise i would like a new treadmill and they then took the treadmill away and brought it back for it to only come up with the famous Err 01 error and come to a complete haul after it ran for 3 mins ( same issue as befor...e ) I have called Cardio tech again ( Yesterday) and the lady was quite helpful and advised they will replace it with another Ex- Demo Model ( still not a brand new one) so i won't hold my breath until i receive it and until we use it to know what that will look like.
Great Product Poor After Sales Service
I purchased the LifeBack vibration Plate about 6 weeks ago and collected in store.
When I unpacked my supposedly brand new machine the power cord was missing and it had footprints all over it.
I rang customer service only to be told that they would post me a new power cord but stated I could not collect one in store.
Not happy with answer I returned the machine and was given a brand new one immediately.

Worst treadmills ever very disappointed
The first treadmill we got worked once than wouldn't turn back on. They replaced it with another for it to over heat, with numerous phone calls. Than one day it literally blue up with smoke everywhere, Thank god I had a safety switch on power box that shut my electricity off. They than sent another out, just after a year I now get Er01, really :/ now they are saying I need a new belt. Well I can say there is nothing wrong with the belt but everything wrong with the speed sensor. I will never buy or trust this company again. Our sports store will no longer sell them and that says something too. My treadmill is now at the dump best fun I had with the thing smashing it.
Everything not worth time or effort with them and a big waste of money
After some research I decided to buy from Cardiotech a full Home Gymnasium Pack. I realized they provide the best warranty and local service. I was very happy with the delivery to our home at Gympie. The technician installed the three machines for us and patiently explained how to use them.
We bought the equipment on September from Sunshine Coast and no problems at all so far.
Rapid and prompt delivery, good and friendly team at kiosk. Easy finance.
At the momento all running smoothly
I bought a treadmill and am paying it off. Should own it in about 3 years.... It has been nothing but trouble. I have had to have the technician out so many times (who has been fantastic) BUT I can't keep being home for repairs. Squeaks so loudly can be heard over mp3 music. Is very frustrating running. I was really happy with it when first used but after a couple of runs the consistent continual annoying noises on every foot impact have driven me mad, I asked to return it and stop paying - cannot. I told them I don't want a refund but I don't ...want to keep paying for something that is too noisy to use when anyone else is in the house. The telephone staff are lovely but can't do much. I am very unhappy and will NEVER purchase from cardio tech again. This is meant to be a top of the line treadmill I should have bought an exercise bike from rebel sports. Extremely Upset - Unsatisfied Customer
I just recently made the decision to purchase a massage chair from Cardio Tech, after under a week of using the machine found my back aching and bascially unable to use the machine - after providing a medical certificate to advise of this and how we wanted to return the chair, we were basically advised to bad - and we will only be able to offer you a credit of the sell price (of now this second hand unit)to use on another piece of equipment!! This machine is worth $4000 and basically I have lost that money and feel like there was or has been defenetly no customer satisfaction!!! Terrible Service!!!!
Poor customer service
My machine broke down, after paying a call out fee for my machine under warranty I was told that the motor could be replaced, but that the main controller was not under warranty and was going to cost $250. Unless I shell out I lose my first $100 and am left with a broken machine. I wonder if they do this to everyone. I believe they should warn of likely costs and do business in a much more open and honest way when it comes to servicing and warranty. It feels dishonest and I would never buy their products again or recommend them to anyone.

Unit works ok until you need it repaired. Then they tell you a long list of things that need to be fixed and that are not under warranty. They stung us for an extra $350 worth of parts that didnt need fixing. A complete rip off. DO NOT BUY ONE.

Lived Up To The Reputation
I purchased an X9 about a year ago. Absolutely love it. We live in an apartment so I was very happy to find the technician brought the machine up stairs and installed it for me with no complaints. Have been using it every week and I love being able to use it every day. I have already lost 10kg and I have always struggled to lose weight even after trying both gyms and personal trainers. I have read the other reviews and if the service if anything has to be fixed is like the delivery, I would be very happy.

I purchased both the X9 treadmill and the vibration machine about a year ago and am surprised to see negative reviews about the products this company provided! I love my machines. They get a lot of use, by myself and my husband and fingers crossed, we've not had to have any servicing on either nor needed to contact the customer service office, as it was explained in the machine set up wonderfully how to use everything. I particularly like the vibration machine, it does exactly what it says it will and I have achieved great results. Big huge thumbs up for a great service and quality products!

Have not owned my Cardio Tech X9+ for 3 years yet and it really has had very little use and has been well looked after. I have had it repaired once under warranty and now I have been told after being charged a $100 service fee that it needs a new main control that will cost an additional $354. It was not a cheap unit and now I feel I have wasted my money as I am not prepaired to spend more on something that could break down again and cost even more than what I have already paid. Would not recommend this product to anyone.
