additional information, which I promptly did — however, after that, I received no further response. I even sent a follow-up email, but still no one got back to me.
Eventually, I submitted another claim regarding the same issue, only to be told that it was outside the time frame. This is unfair and unacceptable, as my first claim was never properly concluded or addressed.
Like many other 1star reviews have said... I purchased their protection plan, and unfortunately they do not honour the agreement, and will find any small print technicality to avoid letting you claim what you rightfully should be able to claim. 110% recommend – I recently have tried their fabric protection shield and upholstery care kit and I am absolutely obsessed. The protection shield has been able to lift and remove any stains on my white lounge and the cleaning fluid has insured that Liquid Spills are not soaking into my fabric leaving stains. Could not recommend this product enough.

I then stated that I also have a 5yr warranty on the plan for damage and I have damages and they have rejected that too!

Don’t bother – Apparently if your claim is over 10 days after the incident then forgot it! The tear in our leather lounge was so small, we didn’t notice it and now claim denied? $200 for cover down the drain!!

Disappointing – Useless. Product does nothing to repel stains and the cleaning product doesn’t remove them either. Claim denied. Apparently I should have the lounge professionally cleaned before submitting a claim for a stain. I would have thought that was the point of paying for the care cover insurance - so they can clean it?.. Would not recommend.
Leather protection plan is totally misleading – Absolutely crap and rip off. Reflects poorly against Freedom furniture. Bought the Freedom upholstery accident protection plan and care kit - 5yr plan. Despite package saying " By purchasing this product you receive coverage for 5yrs" Carecover refused to respond to clean minor marks.

Perfect for parents of grotty kids! – This is the perfect product for spot cleaning and protecting your fabric furniture! Having 2 children, our couch gets hit with a lot of food and grot, but this spot cleaning system got those marks out so quickly and easily, making our couch look new again!

Recommend the Fabric Upholstery care kit – I used the fabric upholstery care kit and fabric protection shield on 2 different armchairs. As bad as a scam – Scam- tried to deny my claim on my furniture because I’d indicated a stain on the couch but they said it only was on one cushion when in fact it reached accross 2. They then tried to get out of providing any clean of the couch at all.

Since their ‘experts’ decided the damage was not caused by an animal I resubmitted the claim for accidental damage. This was denied as well. The cover provided and paid for states coverage for pet and accidental damage but this company has denied both. It is reasonable for a customer to purchase furniture insurance in good faith, based on the information provided by the furniture seller. It is unreasonable to expect customers to navigate through a website and read a list of extensive exemptions at the point of sale.
The best products – I’m obsessed with these products! I have the fabric upholstery care kit and honestly it is amazing. Removes stains so easily from my beige furniture which is so handy. I love the protectant shield as it stops any mess my toddler makes actually going into the fabric. Amazing. A need when having a toddler running around
The Upholstery Care Kit that saved my lounge room – Care Cover is a wonderful brand. I was lucky enough to get my hands on the Fabric Upholstery Cleaning Fluid and the Fabric Protection Shield along with microfibre cloths. The cleaning fluid has removed countless stains from my couch and the protection shield has saved me by repelling stains before they dig their heels too deep in the fibres of anything I hold dear. It has made such a huge difference to my home. 10/10 would recommend.

The best thing for your couch! – I dropped a little bit of red wine on my couch and used the care cover to remove it and literally it all came out! I sprayed it and left it sitting there for 5 mins before using the cloth to gently rub off the excess. need to vaccum my couch once a week but i think i could go a month without vaccuming as the care cover provides the extra protection.
