- Communication with Client Liaison Executive [name removed] was exceptional
- Overall cost was low
- Often not able to get in contact with Site Supervisor
- Final stage of completion was below the standard I had imagined a well known builder would produce - poor paint job, touch ups not fixed (Sticker from PCI was just removed), doors don’t line up and close properly, rail for toilet paper was changed and old holes were not covered properly
- Plumbing issues resulted in not being able to use water for 4 days less than a week after handover...
Got there in the end
The customer service team prior to the build were great. Colour selections and contracts etc. went smoothly. We have built before and understand that building is a long process and general errors are made. However this build encountered countless issues which were often only rectified with weeks of me following them up and often a lack of communication from Carlisle (site foreman and construction manager). These issues included the entire paint job being bad enough to have to be redone, carpet being installed 12 weeks prior to completion and th...erefore being absolutely trashed (some areas were replaced after countless phone calls and emails), tiling which was so bad that walls were torn down and redone, crushed storm water pipes, the slab was measured and laid incorrectly resulting in an added section at the front door which was messy and lower than the original slab, and cement in our toilet sewer pipe. This issue with the toilet had to be rectified after we moved in and took a week of jackhammering through the tiles and slab, and new concreting being poured in. A positive was that Carlisle were apologetic and provided a Bunnings gift card as compensation. Unfortunately more than 12 months after this issue we had problems with the toilet again which proved to be cement still in the pipe which wasn’t properly removed the first time. I had to pay my own plumber bills and communicate for weeks with management to be reimbursed which finally happened. As for warranty issues recently (loose tiling etc.) Carlisle were very good with addressing these issues and having them repaired quickly. Overall, our building experience was a stressful and disappointing one. Having a more capable site foreman could’ve made a difference as we have had other friends and family who have had a positive experience building with Carlisle. We got there in the end...
Dependable and reliable process
I am still in building process and so far my experience with Carlisle has been satisfactory. Processes are well clear and well sorted. They have good amount of on-line tools that help in making decisions while building. Base house packages, though on higher side compared to other builders, are well sorted and lot of day to day things are included in the price. On the contrary, I felt, upgrades are limited and pricey. To summaries, it's been good experience with them.
Will update my review towards end of building process and once I have the han...dover. UPDATE All the shebang ended with pre-sales and contract signing. My experience has been that building with Carlisle is that it is "genuinely oversold customer experience" with less focus on workmanship. Not any complaint with quality of material used in house but, really, if people they hire are not going to do a good job with the material then end result is going to be unsatisfactory. There are comparable construction jobs in my neighborhood where I see that the local & smaller builder have been able to deliver similar or better end product. So the value proposition that comes with Carlisle turn out to be on expensive side. FYI..all my experience is based on months pre and, mainly, post COVID-19; not saying all of us knew how to navigate these times but rather Carlisle could have done a far better job.

Questions & Answers
It has been 6 months since we moved into our house and we still have outstanding issues from the water leak we had in our kitchen. Since the beginning of the year, Carlisle Homes had forgotten about their responsibility to check progress on these issues. We were out of kitchen for over 3 weeks from Nov-Dec 2020 and they didn’t reimbursed the whole meal allowance that was promised. Now the Construction Manager and his Manager is denying the conversation we had about it. Also not getting any updates on what they will do next and when they are planning to fix all other outstanding issues. Can someone please direct me on how to deal with these liars? Is there anyone here with the same experience as we did? Thanks
Thank you for your question.

Hi Carlisle Team
Is it possible to to Rear Flip the Rothwell 29 ?
Hi Shahed K,
Thank you for reaching out to us and for your question.
Unfortunately we are not able to flip the rear only of the Rothwell 29 as the rooms wouldn't be align.
If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us again.
What happens when you pay the $2000 deposit and then Carlisle decide they cannot build upon that block of land? If they’re pulling out of the contract surely it’s illegal to keep the $2000.
