Has anyone had Athena hybrid planks installed? Did you have any issues? I'm looking at having these installed in our laundry/bathroom/toilet. They seem to be significantly cheaper than vinyl sheets, so I'm wondering if there's a catch?

We are not the people to ask. We bought carpet.
Cheers
Hi Hubert,
With regard to your query, Hybrid products do not necessarily need an underlay as they actually have an in-built backing which acts as an underlay. However suitability without underlay can depend on your subfloor substrate type. ...

Hi Cheza,
Did you end up installing stainmaster hybrid flooring in your house? I have been looking at installing it in my house and wanted some feedback on it!
Yes we did we installed the spotted gum. The day after I was devastated. It was awful it had shiny spots all through it always looked dirty and so fake. I hated it. Cost us $over $6000 Happy endin...
Read moreg though!!! The rep came and looked and admitted there was something wrong. They paid to have it all lifted and replaced which was quite a job as we had to relift all our skirtings remove dishwasher and fridge was a big expensive job. They allowed us to change the colour we laid the Natural Oak. A word of warning do not go for the Australian species boards they are very flat and look like cheap lino laid at leas.t the spotted gum did .The oak boards have a real texture and look so real. This was not pointed out to me at point of purchase. The Australian species board colours are so flat where as there are three other colours that have slightly wider boards but have the wood .texture.To cut it short love them I have two small dogs that give it hell not a mark on them easy to clean never looks dirty so happy I am laying more in an upstairs lounge. Our boards were sent back to China for testing but of course we were never told what was wrong. We bought these from Carpet Court Victor Habor and I have to say they handled it all so well five stars to them.
