The carpet itself is nice. The installation was poor. Carpet tacks everywhere popping out. Damage to surround walls. Requested the issues to be rectified and completely ignored. Poor service in extreme.
I bought a grey carpet that looks grey on an overcast day and turns bright blue on a sunny day. I complained daily for 12 days before anyone from carpet court had the curtesy to speak with me. To this day the manager has not communicated with me. They promised to send a representative to look at the carpet but they came on a very wet day and even that took 3 months. Appalling service. Do not buy from them.

Read more can pass this onto the relevant State Operations Manager to investigate?I’ve had a terrible experience with Carpet Court Holden Hill (Adelaide) and would advise never to use them. We were sold an expensive carpet on the premise it was ‘easy to clean’. It stained terribly and the stains stuck even after dry cleaning. The carpet was deemed faulty when their guys came out to assess the damage, but after repeatedly trying to get a resolution no replacement or refund has ever been made. I’m talking thousands of dollars.
It’s been atleast 6 months and we are still waiting for the manufacturer to follow up. I’m guessing they never will. NEVER AGAIN.
These guys need some serious lessons in customer experience management.

I purchased my Victoria Pinnacle Action Traction Pet friendly flooring from Carpet Court Bankstown from Chris 18months ago for a cost of $9000. It have had nothing but trouble. i purchased this particular produect as i have 2 large dogs and I did not want them slipping. They slip all the time and cannot get traction. The store asked me to record the dogs slipping and I told them I do everything to prevent them getting hurt! Their contractor did not prepare my floor correctly (which I paid seperately and additionally) so they needed to lift ...

They say its the same, however have offereed me $250 compensaton for the difference. I don't want their $250 I want my floor to match all over. This matter will now be going legal. WARNING - DO NOT TRUST CARPET COURT CHATSWOOD. They totally mislead me into signing with them to install flooring in an investment apt I own. They ripped up half the existing flooring, then said I had to pay $150 per bag to level the slab which equaled nearly $4000. When I queried the price they walked off the job, refused to call me back and left me without flooring. I then complained to [name removed] the CEO for carpet court after I looked for alternative quotes and discovered the real price is $75 per bag to level a floor. Basically they ri...
Read morep up the floor and leave you with no choice but to pay $150 a bag which is double the real cost. Massively deceptive. After we had the job done by an alternative contractor they refused to return calls and we had to organise another trade to install. Now I am chasing for compensation and the CEO for Carpet Court is non responsive. We are now talking the matter to ACCC and Fair Trading for deceptive and misleading conduct. If you need need flooring stay well away from these guys biggest bunch of con men in the game. Worst experience ever.Hi Grant,

Read moreour account details. Floor preparation is an important element in the successful installation of any floor and in this instance the extent of sub floor issues were not obvious until the removal of the previous floor, hence the proposed change to the quotation to reflect the floor preparation needed (as set out in our standard T’s & C’s advised at the time of quoting). Thanks for coming back but Carpet Court's deceptive tactics to "credit" me back for the install dont equate to a $2k refund when the true cost to install the flooring ended up setting me back over $6k...
Read more. Your CEO failed to respond to my last 2 emails trying to resolve the matter, I clearly explained what the series of failures were leading up to today by his Franchisee and I have had no response from him at all. When it comes to the breakdown of the refund Carpet Court Chatswood also never responded to 2 emails asking for this. The reason why is they stole $8k of my money and some how feel that $6k was the product cost and $2k was the install cost. This is despite the fact that on your website it clearly shows the RRP of the product as under $4k. I have now lodged a complaint with NSW Fair Trading, NCAT and about to escalate to ACCC and the media in a Press Release. I am financial enough to manage this situation, I feel so sorry for the pensioners and those not so fortunate to be ripped off when you are most vulnerable by your misleading tactics to overcharge for what is a hidden cost nobody expects to incur. If you CEO wants to discuss he has my number, maybe he should start the process of complaint management next time instead of encouraging the misleading and deceptive conduct of your franchisees.- 2 reviews
I had a quote for vinyl planks that was 25% higher than the advertised amount and on our 4th visits was told it was because it was a small job there was an extra charge. At no time did they apologize for false advertising

Put it this way, there is no way the seller my mother dealt with at this store would have accepted the standard of carpet laying she received in their own home. The carpet layers made a bad decision about where to cut the carpet and as a result the seam in the living room is extremely obvious and along the longer length of the room. My mother was assured this peaking would subside with time but over a month later it remains as glaring and amateurish-looking as ever. The contractors badly chipped every single freshly painted skirting board they ...
Read moretouched, and then Carpet Court suggested this had occurred because our painter had not used undercoat which was simply untrue as my mother was there when he did it. She then had to pay the painter to come back and fix all that damage. We were so disappointed, and are still upset about it. Hence leaving this review, which I do not make a habit of doing.Hi Clea,

Very good in store service but did not follow me up, even after I followed them up, asking for a measure and quote.
I attribute this to my not having decided whether to lay carpet, in other words not being decisive enough for their liking.
I understand the triage from their viewpoint (saves them potentially wasted time) but it's a snub to a potential customer, wasted my time and naturally I chose another supplier.
Well done. Own goal or don't care?

I went to the franchise on 1st July and was told the sale had ended the day before and I said I still needed carpet in a bedroom. I was told that Daniel would call me back as he was outside and my phone number was taken.
When leaving the store I noted a staff member outside smoking!
No one has called back and after waiting one week I went to another franchise of a different company and had excellent service!
Bad job carpet court
