Felt pressured to leave a review
I was happy with the movers, although they were ten minutes behind time and claimed there was traffic while driving, I was charged for the hour and half, when it should of been just the hour. Not so happy to receive emails about leaving a review, and then a phone call asking for a review.
It was 4 bedroom house. Very short distance 2.1km. They arrived 9:00am. Finish loading around 11:40. Driver went to a short stop to get a coffee. Arrived at drop off point around 12:00. Finished unloading at 1:50. That’s just 5 hours total but still get charge for 6 hours.
Removal turned up 50 mins later than was advised and the boys were slow to get going only once my son and partner and 2 daughters started moving things to the truck did they start to pick up the past slightly.
Bit disappointed to be honest but done now.
Total move cost $865 for 3 beds sofa fridge washing machine drier bbq and some garden items and a few boxes.

Good service but need to be more professional
we have talked for big truck when we arranged the delivery, but last day i have received a phone call and said big truck is not working and they going to come with the small one and will remove for two times. i found it unprofessional, it was last day and i couldn’t cancel the delivery with you. other then that removers were here on time and removed gently

They took away the truck when still 5 % of the goods are yet to be loaded, I had to call them to get it loaded again. Brought in flat tyre trolly that make their task slow inturn am charged more. Very tough handling of delicate items
Need to improve
My personal experience:
1. the removalists not completely moved my items almost 30% of items left
2. The removalists don't possess any soft skills and got rude attitude
3.Removalists were not taking care of goods, upon requesting they were reluctant
However after speaking resolution manager its all sorted out. I felt The management very responsive enough to respond and resolve the issue.
$800- $1000 worth of damage to my property, even though I reported it while they were still working, I have hard evidence & Insurance they are not taking any responsibility due to the amount of money owed. Lying stating "they never entered the home" even though there is CCTV Footage.
I paid in full for the work, trusting I would simply work out the damage with head office once the move was over & I'm absolutely disgusted at their response & lack of due diligence .
* Very slow - taking their time to ensure they get as much money as possible.
Refund will be provided by the company after justifying your case. Just need patience and gather supporting documentation or records such as pictures, parking tickets and time stamped photos. Customer service responds on time.
Excellent removalist workers but dispatch is a disgrace.
This is a review of mixed emotion.
Firstly, the removalist men that performed the move were excellent, professional and efficient.
However, CBD removalist head office is filled with incompetent and unhelpful individuals. The day before the move they inform you that the removalists have a 3hr window to arrive, despite the fact you agree to a specific time and a 30min potential delay.
On the day the removalists were 2.5hr late after I threatened to not pay them.
Scheduling these removalists is a tough call. Competitive cost and the men that performed the move were great, but if you’re on strict timeframe don’t book via this company.
After having not one but two very negative experiences with this company- I wrote a truthful review full of criticism. It was then that a manager finally contacted me - I had no one ring me before. He assured me that an investigation would take place. I did mention that no compensation had been offered. He said he would have to get authority- and rang me back. I have received a small amount of compensation- less than I think is suitable- but I knew there was no point in trying for more. At least I got something.

I was not very happy with the actual movers as they were trying to buy time but I was offered a compensation by the client services team after submitting some negative reviews on several websites.
Super slow service!
They charged you with the cheap price because they will move it really slow to make you pay more! Please avoid this company!! Also asked you to pay for the deposit for haft an hour in advance and didnt refund or deduct later on! Watch out guys!
An unforgettable experience!
We moved in last weekend, and oh my God!! The bill came to $985. Two men were sent for the job, who were extremely slow, took a long time to remove furniture and then on reaching location , they broke a TV cabinet drawer in front of us, broke a plant, broke my food processor bowl made of glass, caused a dent on the wooden chair.. and whilst unpacking we are discovering the losses incurred. Called up the company on several occasions and the only thing we heard is " sorry for the experience".. we don't need an apology, we need a solution. They sa...id they wont cover glass, that's fine. what about the rest of the items.. the broken drawer was taken by the two guys who had come to remove the furniture's, so the company can check with them for the damages, but we have not been offered any solution. We are still awaiting for a week , not to know what to do with the TV cabinet. The show of the cabinet is lost and no one is willing to take the responsibility. I followed up twice with emails, and they keep writing that they need more time.. how much time to talk to your employees about the incident? I have all written emails and communications. The booking was made under Apratim Dutta. We are also considering consumer court advise as we are feeling totally ripped off and on the basis of our personal view, will never again refer or use this company. Feeling completely cheated. Good luck to the company for their future. 07/10/20- Since I wrote the review few weeks back, the complain was taken by the Management team and they agreed to pay $105 for the damages which we have received. Though it is not sufficient to cover the loss but none the less we appreciate the effort on the company's side, to resolve the issue and accept their mistake and hope they continue to improve based on the feedbacks provided. Thank you to Leo who looked after our complain, and tried his best to resolve the issue for us.
Althought the mover didn’t showed on the actual moving day and had to reschedule, it Was still great working with the 2 from truck T41 as they were very cooperative with the instructions given, gentle with the furniture as well. No issue following my instructions given to them Had a few mishaps but it happens, just had to adapt to the situation.
Great removaliats terrible company
The two removalists we had today [name removed] and [name removed] did a fantastic job. The service from the company they work for was the worst I’ve ever had. Booked a paid a deposit for a large truck and On the day they gave me a small truck instead which meant two loads an extra 3 hours. [name removed] and [name removed] were both fantastic!

They did dodgy things during the time of house moving where I can't keep track of what they have done because We were too busy, later when we went back to them they said it was too late because we reported after 1 week and our claims will not be accepted. Yes, I have been ripped off by CBD Movers and they also got me to go with 365 Cleaners, terrible experience with both and I had to eventually book other services who were professional and got the job done. Go elsewhere, even Airtasker but not these shady businesses.
Have you seen the tricks this company uses?
Charging extra for stairs, using a trolley, when they don't tell you that when they tell you how much it will cost when you book.
Work slow and charge more. Carry one box at a time to drag it out.
Sending a small truck so not everything fits so they have to do second load.
Turn up late or not at all and blame it on the truck breaking down.
Making you pay before they will unload.
Claiming to have insurance but if you try and claim you can't or they just say the damage was already there.
Have a read through some of the negative feedback. A lot of people who have been tricked.
Do your own research before booking and decide for yourself.
Funny how all the recent reviews are glowing. All made by ‘verified’ users who all have 1 review and accounts created recently. FAKE just like their website reviews. This company is deceitful to the highest degree.
They employ people who have no experience to save money which ends up costing the customer in damages and wasted time.
They act like the customer comes first but the reality is they just want milk you of all your money knowing you won't be back.
Look at how many negative reviews there are vs positive, that is a red flag.
they wanted to send me a 8 tonne truck for 2 beds 2 wardrobes a office desk 1x tv cabinet and a tv .... somehow i dont think that fills a 8 tonne truck THEN on day of moving they simply did a no show tried to b.s it out they broke down IF there as big as they are - they could of just sent another truck ? ? ? even if it was smaller ...

Not surprised as they spend more time trying to hide how dodgy the company is than they do actually looking after their customers.
Plus they claim all negative reviews are fake when they actually get their employees to post positive reviews.
