Very bad Service, not a happy client at all
Very bad experience with Celebrations homes, i wouldn't be recommending them at all.
Firstly site works were fixed and then came back with additional cost for retaining and extra fill required because they didn't liaise with the land developer for the finished floor level.
Then the plans were in shire for 8 weeks before being informed of any site issues, we were informed by the shire not celebrations, so we phoned them and got a whole lot of promises that they will wear half the cost, but wasn't what was agreed at the end, so to get the bal...
Lies, lies, lies
Signed up with celebration homes in a rush due to the same old story prices are going up. The consultant who was quiet good at the start was just trying to get me signed up with out even making sure I was 100% with the design.
Halfway to Prestart and wasn't happy with the design and wanted to change it. Was told I can't, then after insisting the consultant agreed, however wasn't happy.
After making the changes the price skyrocketed and some things like undermount sinks, bulkheads, see thru glass splash backs, 30mm stone, 300 x 300 tiles cou...ldn't be done. They refused at first and then when told I was thinking of leaving came running back. In the end I cancelled and signed up with Redink who were a lot more easy going and all of the things listed above could be done. Just be cautious if choosing to build with celebrations as to the quality. The undermount kitchen sink and bulkhead I wanted were told they don't like doing them cause they have lots of issues with leaking. For me that's not good enough. Also if you do want to make changes to certain things make sure you ask before signing anything!! For investors or people not wanting to change anything I'd say celebrations would be ok but if you plan on designing and changing things think again. Very professional operation Misleading, lies
well the tiler finished his job (nice job) then the plumber went in and ripped the tiles of the wall including plaster and render in the bathroom and laundry, don't know why. Asked for an entrance to wardrobe to be fixed up as it was so far out of level you couldn't miss it, wish I hadn't as it looks worse now. The kitchen bench has scratches and a chip in it as the (tradies) have used it for a work bench, the front door rattles and is warped, and they still haven't finished . Well we paid for a new house but will end up with a repaired piece of crud
nobody from celebration will take any responsibility or will they talk over any problems you have with the quality of the house
Celebrations Homes - Beware!!
Celebrations were good at the start, the sales person was pushy though and sold stuff that wasnt required, though made it out as needed. The prestart lady was excellent so I thought we were on a winner... Alas, come the handover and the wheels fell off. These people are the biggest con ever. If you have built with them or building with them make sure you inspect the roof and ensure that they use enough timber to meet Australian standards, they skimped on my joists and only after I got a registered builder did they bother to do anything about it.... Their 6 month maintenance is rubbish, their painting is rubbish, their staff are poorly trained and not responsive. Other than the lady that handled my house during the build stage and selection of colours etc every one else from the big boss down stink. Yes, I made such a fuss I had the big bosses come to inspect my house. they put up the place quickly, and now I know why... not always a good thing if they are slapping it together and cutting corners hand-over was poor, poor workmanship, even poorer products and always blaming the contractor ended up dealing with the contractors because Celebrations are inept. Again I strongly recommend you get the timber on the roof checked for Australian Standard acceptance. If there is a corner to cut, they have already cut it.
Site work problems
I think the problems at least with my home started with the site work.
I witnessed this on my home and 3 others in the area. That instead of removing rubble from the site and replacing with clean fill that they dig a hole to get clean sand, they then pour the rubble in to the hole and put the clean sand on top. On my block the hole was over 3m deep.
I approached the supervisor with this information and he said that its normal and this is what they do. The sand is not compacted every meter as the hole is filled as it should be.
Firstly, we went to our prestart interview which we thought went well, only to find out that our construction supervisor had been fired and then needed to go back to the head office and re-do our prestart with another supervisor. From there we were passed on to another prestart consultant(our 3rd which we did not meet once face to face) as our 2nd one had fallen pregnant and was unable to follow thru with us!!!!
The brickwork on our house was not up to standard, and when we complained about a pier being out of line, we were met with much host...

Sloping floor from left to right to the garage door you can see daylight even with the rubber seals . Average house average price nowt special All listed below
House started in November 2007 and I feel like I've supervised the house myself as the Celebration supervisor never picked any shoddy workmanship up, I had to ring the office - the plaster on the walls is shocking
none, I'm annoyed
still waiting for my house to be finished.
Where to start, footings poured in the wrong place, roof carpenter made the gables the wrong size and with the sheeting had to be fixed a total of 8 times for three gables, crooked walls had to be replasted, wrong benchtops installed to kitchen, wall and floor tiling leaks and pools in the master bath, roof sheeting had to be replaced, steel columns on the verandah are crooked and the welding could only be described as done by blind monkeys, every ceiling had to be sanded and refinished, all the door handles throughout the home had to be replac...ed, hot water unit was not connected properly and an emergency plumber called out, hot/cold taps were connected wrong ie hot to cold, the front render was repaired 3 times, toilets didnt flush properly, and the list just keeps going on. Would not even recommend them to erect a garden shed as they would probably get that wrong too. Anyway, off to the BDT to get it all fixed. Everything they could have botched, they did
I was going to build with Celebrations until the "little" salesman decided he would pressure me using the block of land that i had just put an offer on. I was still in the process of seeking finance when the salesman from Celebrations, not the realestate salesman for the block, rang and told me that "just by chance" he had overheard his colleague talking about the very same block that i had told him about..........and within 3 days of me giving him the address to it.........what a coincidence!!! I rang the realestate agent, and as soon as i pre...ssured him about who from celebrations had rang him and dropped the celebrations salesman’s name, he relayed the entire phone conversation to me. Very Very Very unhappy with the salesman’s con/pressure tactics and also unhappy with my realestate agent for letting this happen. Needless to say i will be going elsewhere for a house now. Keep your block of land and your house purchase/offer/info separate until you are ready to sign on the dotted line. NEVER tell the salesman where your block is if you have only put an offer on it! Pushy, Conniving.

Questions & Answers
I built my home back in 2017 with Celebration Homes. I had the 1 year post maintenance guys come out and sort the cracks out and used a jack hammer thing to gauge out the cracks and refill them. Last year I noticed them coming back in the same area and now they’re bigger than ever, is this is covered by celebration homes warranty ?
I’m wanting to paint soon and I can’t paint with those massive cracks ! Needing some advice please
If you want to contact our service department at firstname.lastname@example.org they will be able to help you.
Hi can you supply your own tiles if you don't like what you guys have in your showrooms. It seems there isn't much varity in you kitchen wall tile selection at your showrooms.
Unfortunately not, one of our Prestart Consultants can take you through the range of tiles available if you like, Feel free to give us a call on 9202 2300 for more info.
Does Celebration Homes have an online PRE-START website where we can view standard selections and upgrades?
Not to my knowledge, they have something called
"The more store" plus a booklet with all the selections etc, but they give those out once you have signed on i believe. They do have a showroom in osborne Park that you can go view all the items :)
Hi Donna, We have a prestart page where you can find out some more info about our selections and see our Product selection book, there is also a Virtual tour of our showroom. Feel free to give us a call. https://www.celebrationhomes.com.au/prestart-meeting/

While these are fairly standard inclusions, Celebration Homes also partners with Resolve Finance to give you a ‘finance health check,’ and help explore various options when it comes to finding the best deal on a home loan. This extra inclusion helps take some of the pressure off your plate, especially if you’re new to the home-building process and are unsure where to start.
