Don't bother with Century 21 Clayton.
Might as well rent out your property yourself, because you will end up having to take time off work and do their job for them anyway. And at least you can ensure that their handyman doesn't cause more damage to your property, because they simply don't care, won’t be there to help and won’t take responsibility for anything. If it’s a peace of mind you’re after in hiring a property manager, you won’t get it here. These last few months have been a living nightmare!
They'll say anything to get you to sign onboard with them, and never follow throu...gh. My previous tenants have damage my property, breached multiple items in our tenancy agreement as well as the Residential Tenancy Act throughout the 3 year tenancy, and they will let them get away with it and tell you there is nothing you can do because they don't follow processes and when asked about their processes, they'll make excuse after excuse (if you can get a hold of them that is). They will not have your property’s best interest at heart. I have been leasing out my property with them for almost three years with almost next to no contact/updates, I’ve even had to chase them up for routine inspections and at the end of my tenants contract they’ve done NOTHING to assist a stressful process and instead managed to land me a further $5000+ worth of repairs and maintenance due to their incompetence and lack of communication. I’m absolutely livid! They act as if your business means nothing after you sign with them especially if your property manager is [Name Removed], they will point the blame at you and have no issues allowing your property to sit idly vacant for over 6 weeks as they have no urgency to get things fixed because they’ve let the tenants create whatever damages they want without taking initiative to get things fixed or notifying you. Trust me when I say, you and your property are not a priority to them. BUT they are more than happy to take management fees from you. Do not recommend. Will not be recommending to ANYONE. If you are a landlord, please heed this warning, do your research and sign with someone else or manage it on your own. Whatever you choose, just steer clear! I wish I had and now will do after cleaning up this mess.

It was a TERRIBLE experience from[name removed] Century 21 Wolli Creek.
[name removed] was unbelievably UNPROFESSIONAL and I had to report them to Fair Trading. A stressful experience and I very much regret selling with them. Not recommended.
For example, on settlement date, they short-changed us over $1,000 & took an additional 10 days before giving us our own money back.
There were also issues with contract preparations due to incompetence as well as poor communications, lacking respect and actually quite rude - I was yelled by [name remo...ved] at one point when arranging for a buyer visit. Be super careful about any invoices or documents they send to you and double check if the details are correct. Compared with other agents, they are the worse one. It’s not worth paying any commission for this AWFUL service! stay away if you want a good experience.
Awful communication/property management
Near impossible to ever get property issues resolved through this agent as they just ignore you as much as possible and hope you give up, I feel sorry for anyone allowing this agency to manage their properties because you basically wont find out about any issues with your property until a tenant gives up and moves elsewhere costing you money.
Century 21 Wolli Creek, Avoid at all Costs!
It is not often I take time out to leave a negative review, I know how important it is for a business to have good reviews. Generally it would take a pretty bad experience before I would consider going online with a poor review.
I feel compelled to tell people about Century 21 in Wolli Creek, and if this review helps even one person to stay as far away as possible from this Real estate agent then that is a positive outcome.
I strongly suggest the 5 star reviews on this page, are reviews from Friends or Family of the staff as reading them soun...ds absolutely nothing like the service received. In fact it is all the 1 star reviews that aligns almost scarily with my personal experience. The level of service received was without doubt the worst I have ever come across, in my 20 years in Business, either in my current role or as a consumer. Response times don't exist in Century 21, it was not out of the ordinary to be left waiting two months for vital services- namely air con (In the heat of Sydney Summer) every request generally was needed to be followed up by us.

I tried to buy a land, and the agent keep changing the offer, after we agreed finally, they want me to pay land tax and i'm a FHB with no way to claim it back where they as a company can claim it. I searched what they do and you can see how dogy they are. Therefore, i cancelled my contract and soon as i did so, they run after me to say that we will remove the land tax for you. Waist of time, energy, money Avoid Avoid Avoid.
Extremely Rude Century 21 Morphett vale 5162
Worst experience in my life . They were flooding me with phone calls 6 month before finishing my lease to renew and they were very rude. They made me renew my lease with threats and when I had to leave before the end of the new lease that I didn't want to sign in the first place. They made me pay 2 month extra claiming they couldn't find any tenants for the property. Be very careful when you deal with them may be you don't repeat my mistake.

Honestly wasn't expecting my house to be sold for as much as it was and I'm shook and overjoyed! Can finally retire with extra in the bank now! Thank you century 21 for taking care of an old woman like me xx

A complete waste of time
When I started renting my property in April 2018 the agent was Harcourts. By October 2018 I had already had 4 different property managers. When I moved in on April 6th the house was absolutely disgusting and I had to spend hours cleaning it. The Entry Condition Report was a joke with whoever filling it out clearly hadn't even been at the property. Enter C21! The newest PM turned up to do an inspection and of course everything was fine. I showed her the receipt I had from July 2018 where I had to pay a professional tile cleaner $363.60 to ...come in and strip the floors from slimy build up and also showed her the photos of before and after. She said she would get in contact with the owner (just like all of the previous PM's had said) and you guessed it - nothing! Keep in mind I paid 12 months in advance and moved from my own property in another state. When I questioned the current PM for an update on reimbursement I was told that it was 'too late', that the owner will dispute it and 'why did I move in the way that I did'! Seriously?? I moved interstate and expected the property to be clean. She also said I can leave the property as I found it when I leave. The latest issue is that it has now taken 4.5 weeks to get the dishwasher replaced. I have heard every excuse under the sun - "I have been n contact with the owner and waiting on their approval" to 'the owner has been away and didn't have phone of internet access" even though I have an email from the previous day stating she had been in contact with the owner... Totally frustrated, I sent a Form 11 after 3 weeks of excuses and have escalated now to a Form 16 with RTA Qld. Then at 7.04pm Saturday 24/11/18 the PM sent me an email stating that I am 3 days late in paying a water bill that I had never received. Attached to this email was an invoice with C21's letterhead and the invoice issue date of 7/11/18 and due by date of 21/11/18. Any half brain would know that the agent needs to provide a copy of the actual water bill showing consumption and you have one (1) month to pay it and that the property must be proven to be water efficient. I am currently looking for a house to purchase so I can dump these nightmare PM's for good and I won't be buying through C21!
Century 21 (Erina, Central coast) provides terrible service to their customers. We've been renting a property for 4 years as the owner decided to change the property management agency and go from LJ to Century 21. We are very lucky with LJ and never have any delays / troubles with fixing or getting the things repaired. With Century 21 we have to wait to each and every single query to be processed. Despite calls and email, they just ignore our requests, what is extremely disappointing because we have to invest our time and effort to get the hous...e maintained. The poor service of this company contributed to our decision to search for another home. If you are the house owner and would like to find a property management agency, I would NEVER recommend you to go to Centrury 21 as you can loose good tenants.
The worst real estate agents in whole of Australia
If I can give them zero or negative would love to. Once your contract is started with them, they just don't pick your calls or revert on mail. I rented an apartment this July and having a series of problems, I need to call them 2-3 times a day and the majority of times they don't even pick up. Sometimes I feel disgusting since I pay all my rents on time and dont get the required service.
My sincere advice to people is going homeless instead of renting/buying an apartment with these guys. If you decide to go with them, you need o to have sufficient stamina, energy and patience.
Overall: Nightmare experience and would never ever go through them again.

Inquired about a property for rent. Was requested to leave my name and number and advised that someone will be in touch. Called each day as noone gotten back to me yet and I am very interested on the property. On the third day, I received SMS in the morning with the list of the property inspection time and I replied that I will be there the next day. Later in the afternoon, I checked the property site and found that deposit has been taken for the property. Called the office straightaway and was told that someone must have inspected the property earlier, put in application form, got approved and deposit. I am very disappointed that the staff failed to communicate this information when I called everyday to inquire about the property.
Tried to speak to my real estate about concerns I am having, and basically got told EFF YOU.
I wouldn't recommend renting with these guys. My last real estate was wonderful.Never really had any issues. These guys are just pitiful. You ask for help, and get ignored, and then when you understandably write an angry email (and let's face it, wasn't inappropriate or anything), I basically get an eff you response. It's a shame, as these guys I thought would have been very reputable since they have been around for such a long time, but sadly that isn't the case. Rather than the customer keeping them in a job, and the customer being important, they bite back at you as if it's some fight in a school yard. Grow up Century21.

Orange nsw century 21 has made lies up alot they get places fixed then charge higher rent they don't fix all problems that you ask them if old tenants damage the house be careful cause you will be paying for it don't rent of this place in orange nsw as you will get ripped off and you cant do anything about it they always get away with things like this

Picture one of the most fastidious customers and I would be it. After dealing with Simon De Wit on both a purchase and sale of a home, he was a breath of fresh air. He was punctual, articulated and most importantly, he drove results. I had over 11 agents visit my home during the sale process and he was the only agent to leave me convinced he could do the job with outstanding results; and I was right. Well done Simon and to the team at Salisbury Centruy 21.

If I could give 0 Stars I would! very slack with everything. They actually lost my lease renewal and I lived in the property for a further 1 1/2 years without a lease in place (I’m not sure if the property owner was aware of this). Once we had moved out of the property we submitted our exit report and received one back with the usual minor points to be rectified. I will not disclose names so I will refer to the lady who dealt with the exit report as [name removed]. [name removed] tried adding extra points to the exit report after providing me ...with a copy, such as removing grass clippings from around a bush. I obliged with a couple of these requests for an easy life but [name removed] kept trying to add more and more by sending me an SMS with extra points, which seemed as if they were just hoping I was going to agree. Regarding getting my bond back I was told multiple times that they would be processing it that day by [name removed], this started on Monday I called back on Thursday and it still hadn’t been processed. Today (Tuesday) I called the RTA and they informed me that they are still waiting on Century 21. After calling century 21 today there is nobody available to speak to me regarding this issue. So now I am writing this review. Edit - I was contacted by Century 21 regarding my poor review within 2 hours. I will not disclose names so I will refer to her as [name removed]. [name removed] seemed quite genuine in wanting to help resolve my issue of waiting for signatures to receive my full bond back and explained she would be in contact with me later that afternoon. Edit – Today is Wednesday and I still haven’t heard from [name removed] so I have taken it upon myself to contact the Century 21 again to see if this can be rectified. Unfortunately, it cannot. I have now been informed by [name removed] that they haven’t been able to inform the RTA in writing because I was the one to lodge the claim. [name removed] explained that she had not received anything from the RTA to be signed and returned (I personally doubt this as my Wife received something in the post at the beginning of last week) however they do have a history of losing my things in the post and I offered to come down there and train them in ways to sort through mail to ensure it doesn’t get lost, alas, they do not want my help. When talking to [name removed] she explained that she tried emailing the RTA but this will not suffice and it is the RTA’s fault. I requested a copy of the email but she quickly backtracked saying she didn’t try and email them she had only tried entering the signature online. I have found that [name removed] likes to backtrack and often blames “Terminology” for the miss understandings. Edit - I have just been contacted by [name removed] who was meant to be calling me back yesterday. She has informed me that they have now been able to speak to the RTA and I should expect my band back today. I am now left unsure if they were able to find the letter that was sent to them and send this to the RTA or did they just manage to make a friendly phone call to the RTA and have this issue resolved? Either way, this could have been resolved over 2 weeks ago had Century 21 been interested in helping. The morel of my experience is, if you enjoy being at the bottom of a company’s priority list or enjoy being lied to as they try to get you to agree to things that don’t need doing and then blaming terminology for the miss understanding of them asking you to do more than required, this is the company for you.

seems to be Ok. We have a property in Officer we rent it out! Not sure if I will sign up with them. The contract is only 4 months period.
I am a naive property owner recently signed on with C21 to get my property rented. Already experiencing little/no communication, gate keeping and inconsiderate staff, don't return calls, don't call when they say they will. I am signed up for two friggin years, no tenant yet. Reading all these terrible reviews from both tenants and landlords chills me to the bone. I came here looking for evidence that I was either expecting too much in my wish for feedback and communication or that my sinking feelings around being treated with disrespect and disdain by superficial 20 somethings do have some basis in reality. Astonished and shocked by what I have got myself into.
Can anyone advise how I can get out of this contract? I feel that my choice of agency will deter good tenants who do their due diligence with agents and I have no trust in the company after being signed up for only 7 weeks. I made a mistake by not thoroughly researching agents

Thank you Jenny. Checked - there is no 90 day rule. I understand now that I am technically up for 50% of 21 months of potential management fee - that would be the agreed management fee percentage based on the current advertised price (I assume). If I want to terminate the agreement without 'good' reason (a good reason being me having to prove agent's breach of our agreement which I cannot do as they have not). I'm in no position to pay them out so soon so believe will just have to wait if out until I can afford to extricate myself.
If the office you are dealing with is anything like the one I deal with you'd be best getting out ASAP. Incompetent, dishonest buffoons.
