Humm was previously trading as Certegy Ezi-Pay
My initial purchase was processed in April and goods were collected.
I have another contract sent today, as the previous allegedly didn't get actioned by the store somehow in the transition from Certegy to Humm. ($3.50 per month Certegy contract as previously agreed)
I would have used another purchase method if I had known Humm take $8.00 per month.
1 call of over 20mins to be told the $8.00 still stands.
Just on principle, I'll never use them again.
If you know how to use it, this is the best option to go for
Although I read all of the reviews here, as a customer, you need to understand, how interest free payments work. It is interest free if you are adhering to the time frame of payments that is being informed to you. Any changes, will obviously incur charges/fees. Even though they say it's fortnightly, make it a thing to ask the store people to make it monthly, if it suits you well. Any product in the market will be fruitful if you know how to use it. I've used Humm/Oxipay for a good two years now. I haven't faced any unannounced increase in fees/charges because I make it a thing to double check before finalizing my purchase. End of the day, unless you sign the dotted line, nothing happens.
I've been with certegy for many years and have made many purchases, after paying off a dishwasher I decided to purchase a new vacuum only to find out it now has to be paid in 5 fortnights, WHY would you do this. So after many years of customer I will not be using your services again, thank you and goodbye.
A big let down
Pre-approval one day, zero credit the next! Had lube mobile it to repair car after getting approval the day before....some repair done only to find out no credit...Humm do you actually know what you are doing?. We were with Certegy for 14 years and never one problem, why change what was not broken? i can only assume that the system you now have generates a bigger profit margin for you. Any loyalty to any previous customers means nothing. We will never recommend you to any-one we know. Your company through your actions humilated my husband.
Was a VIP Now I'm Not???
I've had a VIP status every time I've used humm. I find out today that I'm not. Why is that considering my automatic $5000 approval and 100 percent payment score.
So this is the 3rd time my call has been escalated ( still nothing will get done )as I can’t see my purchase or any details in my account
3 months since Humm took over, can’t wait to finish and close account. Unfortunately I have to rate 1 star
Not happy with HUMM
The change from certegy to Humm is not customer friendly.
I loved Certegy and had been a customer for many years buying many items especially around Christmas time.
I have only received a very basic email about the changeover and to be honest it tells you nothing about the changes.
The new app is nothing like certegy and it is actually no where near as good.
I have a small balance owing which I think I will pay off.
Why change something that wasn’t broken?
I had a great credit history with Certegy.
I just rang Humm and they have to load all my previous purchases into the app. I could previously see everything that I needed.
They then mentioned that a bank statement will need to be uploaded in future.... what??

Certegy customer appalled by new $8 monthly fee
I've read the previous reviews and humm's response. The previous fees were only $3.50 a month despite what humm have said. My transaction history doesn't lie. We have received zero notification that an increase in fees was coming. Lucky for us we are at the end of our contract so will be paying it out early and not returning. It's a real shame considering we were looking at taking on our next home improvement again. Roller shutters and solar panels worth more than $10,000 in business over the last 5 years is walking out the door.
Tried to log into my account several times they keep saying need more information. Fed up with this crap. Been with certagy for years. Going elsewhere where i get satisfaction.
New credit criteria
I am concerned about what seems to be the new approval system. I haven't always had the best credit but found that hadn't been a problem through Certegy but seems to be a problem through Humm. It as always been that approval was based on your history through Certegy with the benefit of the VIP cards being offered to good customers. I have recently had a problem with my energy supplier, does that mean that I would not be approved by Humm even though I have been a Certegy customer with an exemplary record for many, many years. My next big transaction would be car repairs and they don't apply until after the work is done, if my application was declined on this I would have no way to pay in full on the day. It would be sad if this new system drives away loyal customers as Certegy has always been awesome as it was
We have previously been with certegy and no issues, our monthly payments made and well in advance with our payments. Now all of a sudden monthly $8.00 fee is being taken from our bank account with no authority or been advised or any changes in writing by post or email at any time. We have escalated this to the relevant departments to have this investigated. We have contacted Humm and had nothing but rude and unprofessional staff, which is not acceptable!! Just as well we keep records of all conversations as proof.
Fees being charged and not notified - and we don't do direct debits anyway
We are now being charged an extra monthly fee of $8.00 and never advised of this happening. People affected by this should take this matter further, this is not professional at all. We certainly wont ever be using Humm for anything further!!! Staff are rude and don't listen and just try and make excuses. We have heard so many customers in the same boat, disgusting

Like many before me, got charged $8 randomly and found this page. Will be terminating my plan early.
Been a loyal customer for about 9years, but time to find better customer service.
I have bought many items with Certegy Ezi-Pay since 2007 and have never had one problem. I find all of these reviews quite alarming, but I am grateful I happened upon them. Thank you to all for the in depth discussions, I feel well informed and have no doubt that I will never go there again.

Poor business practice
Wrong that I wasn’t notified that my account keeping fee was being taken out of my account. Just lucky that I had money in there. $8 per month is EXCESSIVE!!! Not even my bank charges that for my mortgage. Poor business practice, poor customer service. Absolute robbery to charge $8 per month. Banks recently got slammed for excessive fees. Humm is no better. Disgusted and disappointed :(
hi I tried to find out if my payments are complete as the purchase has been paid in full no way of knowing and they keep taking money the phone they give disconnected no way of phoning them

I was a certegy customer for years no problem at all but humm is terrible no communication and they steal your money when account paid no way of closing account
At last good news!
After a few contacts I finally received some good news today from Humm. They have now managed to populate my Humm page with all of me previous Certegy transactions. To all those trying to sort out their issues, may I suggest you maintain the communication. A special thanks to M..y from Humm who telephoned me a short time ago, thank you so much. 5 star service at last!
No notice of change
No notification of change from Certegy to new Humm, bad service. Have been a customer if Certegy since 2012, never missed a payment and had great limit of $4,500. Now having nothing and they want access to Bank Accounts!!! Increased fee $8 from $2.90 but say they are cheaper. Have $104 owing which will be paid 10/7/19 and they charge me $8!!! Will not be a customer of this company at any time!!!
I have used this company once. Then tried to login and it overnight became humm. Looked at the fees, went from $3.50 A month to $8.00 A month. Nothing sent to me in writing, still under original contract. Glad I was at the end of the term with 6 payments left. Paid it out in full. They stung me the $8.00 goodbye humm and your excessive fees.
This change is terrible
No contact to advise of the change of name to customers? No contact to advise of my $2.90/month fee now being $8.00/month before just taking it out of my account ? How can you change the terms of a contract without advising customers in writing and both parties agreeing? Surely there are consumer rights here when a contract is already in place? Never been declined by Certegy over 8 years and now declines "little things". You have gone from amazing to terrible in the blink of an eye.
