Better than most
Good for adult cats as it absorbs well and leaves less dust around the place. I find that I don’t need to change it more than once a week.
Young kittens (under 8weeks) that I Foster try and eat it though so I don’t often use it for them
Purchased in May 2021.
As the owner of a 18yo and now diabetic cat, I've happily used Chandler pet litter for quite a few years. I previously bought it in 8kg bags from Franklins but they have been replaced by IGA, who no longer carry it. I am now buying 5kg bags from Woolies at a higher unit cost, tho' it' often not present on their shelves, so have to grab it when I can.
However, apart from availability and price issues, also of late the quality has depreciated badly. Instead of firm separate pieces my last few batches have been more clay dust than clay pieces, ...and after Puss has done a few piddles, it sets into mudpats, which he refuses to use. So I need to change more frequently than before. Hopefully this has just been a bad batch and it will revert to the former separate pieces, but if not I'll reluctantly be looking for substitute. Sinbad Has been a good product
