Flawed and not drinkable
I purchased 6 Bottles of 2014 Astarte Estate Shiraz - Wine of Barossa Valley. The wine was not drinkable so after liaising with a representative from Cheaper By The Dozen, I opened a second bottle to check if it was not just a one off. The second bottle was no better. My tasting was confirmed by two other friends who also drink Shiraz. I was disappointed when this wine company advised I would need to pay for the return freight in order to receive a refund on the wine. Read moreir flawed product, and not transfer this accountability to the customer to pay for the return freight. Accordingly I have poured the remaining wine down the sink and will not be dealing with this supplier again. Note: I purchase from a number of wine clubs and have only ever had an issue once before. On that occasion the wine club arranged for return freight and a full credit. I still deal regularly with that wine club.

Hi Judith, best to ask the winery directly as we're not currently holding their stock. I believe they've moved to the 2016 vintage now.
