Abode Prime Flooring a great product
Purchased abode flooring from Choices Capalaba The 2 guys that laid the floor were pleasure to deal with. They went through a lot of trouble to ensure that they did a perfect job. The end result was just beyond our expectations. They even helped to put our dining table back in its place. No extra fee expected. Highly recommended.
Choices Bulleen - Excellent and attentive service
I would like to thank Scott Shearer and all his people at Choices Bulleen for attending to all our flooring needs for our residence. Works included installation of extensive areas of vinyl plank flooring and carpet as well as supply of Ceramic tiles for wet areas. Showroom staff were always patient and helpful to explain our various options. Tradespeople were experienced and timely. We also welcomed the attention given to some minor issues which arose after installation was completed. Five stars from us.
Imperfect job completion - Unsightly Gap
There has been several gaps in the laminate floor that was installed (Choices flooring in Fountain Gate) and it has been nearly a year but no one came to fix the problem although they said someone would do it. Wondering if the jobs are being outsourced and the person in charge is uncontactable.
he service at Albion park was disgusting, have a major problem with the way the floor was lay , they won't step up to their responsibility, after I went in there to talk again about the problem the manager stood so close to me and was over speaking in my face I had to walk out due to heart problems as I was so embarrassed and upset
They were saying this in normal and next they was saying that we have taken these out ourselves

Choices Dandenong are taking no accountability for our faulty flooring, they are telling us that the flooring has become faulty/dangerously slippery due to the way it has been cleaned (with water in a mist mop) when the manufacturer attended to inspect our flooring, they advised me I'd need to clean all of it (on hands and knees) with acetone on a microfiber cloth! I must also mention that I have a newborn baby in my home in which they knew of! (And yet they still asked me to use strong fumes in my home)
They did not even care when I told the...m I am scared I will fall over with him in my arms. I have fallen over a couple of times and thankfully not with my baby! I have to wear socks with grips on the bottom or shoes with rubber underneath when I am walking around in my own home. The manufacturer, installer of the flooring and builder of the home have now wiped their hands clean and have left me with the flooring how it is, as they will not rectify this issue. Very disappointing!
Just don’t do it. Lie to get you to buy. And try to avoid warranty claims.
We purchased engineered oak flooring through Choices in 2015. Unfortunately this was the first time we had purchased flooring and we didn’t know any better. The salesmen just wanted to get his sale and blatantly mislead us about the suitability of the flooring for pets. They then lined up inexperienced and incompetent third party installers. This all aside we had put up with these initial issues as getting them rectified just seemed too hard. Now we are having major issues with the floor wearing down in high traffic areas. The flooring has a 25...year surface warranty so this is just not acceptable. The floor manufacturer Embelton will not deal directly with me on the issue and said it has to be handed through the store. I visited the store to start the process. First issue no staff in the entire store. I wait for 10 minutes or so. The salesman walked out and then turned back around to go back out the back. I finally got his attention and advised him why I was there. Instantly he was defensive and rude. I took him to a sample of my flooring so I could explain the issues I had. I was explaining it in very basic lay terms as I am not a flooring expert and he spoke to me incredibly rudely and wasn’t listening to what I was saying, just giving me his sales lines. I then showed him a photo of the issue in our home. He looked and it for one second and proclaimed that there was no issue and the floor was just dirty. This upset me. He was not taking my concern seriously at all. I told him it was not dirty. He said all I see is a dirty floor. At this point I said to him it is not dirty please look at it properly. I was frustrated at this point and it would have showed in my voice but did not speak badly to him. He then exploded at me saying he would not be spoken to like that. I was quite taken aback as he had been disgustingly rude, defensive and aggressive to me the entire time not the other way around. He needs some serious training on customer service and how to receive a warranty claim from a customer. I have never been spoken to like that by anyone, let alone someone working in their profession capacity. The real kicker is that all the carpets on the floor in this flooring showroom were filthy with rubbish all over them. I would like to also note that like others on here I have tried without success to contact Choices HO. They wouldn’t respond (but viewed) my Facebook message requesting contact details.
Zero Customer Service
Visited Narre Warren (Fountain Gate) store to see if they had a particular carpet that I had decided on (had a quote from another company and was keen to get one from them for the job) ..2 guys at desk staring at their computers , no acknowledgement as I stood there, so no problem I thought they must be busy, so I started to walk through the store to find the particular wool carpet and colour I had wanted . After about 5 min of searching I finally found it ...great so I walk back to the counter and stand again in front of the desk with the carp...et sample in my hand ...one guy gets out of his seat ...then heads for the door behind him ..there is a office with a big cut out void where I see two woman also standing, they look at me then start talking to the guy ...I go back to the guy staring at the computer in the desk in front of me ....nup he is not going to look up or help .....by this stage annoyingly I ask ....hello is there any body here who is able to help me ? Without an apology or acknowledgement, one of the woman looked at the guy and said, you can ! So he comes out from the office door with this, so what do you want expression ...I tell him, he walks away to his desk ...sits down , I notice there are seats in front of his desk but I’m left standing while he calculates things , he yells several question to me then after about 5 min yells out a price ! I left feeling incredibly underwhelmed, it was a good price but I decided to go with the other company because if this is there level of customer service it was only going to go downhill from here !
Fortitude Valley store fantastic
John Sumegi at Choices Flooring Fortitude Valley advised me on the best European oak engineered flooring. He organised everything: delivery, superb master craftsman installer, acoustic rubber and testing. Highly recommend.
Great quality! Fantastic installation!
I worked with Luke at Capalaba and he made the process so easy. He helped me with making the right choices in the type of material, look and design. He took his time and was so lovely and professional. The installation technician, John, arrived on time everyday, worked so hard and was so friendly and courteous. It was not an easy installation, but John did a fantastic job of prepping the floors, keeping me updated and the finished product was so amazing! It was worth every cent! I choose the Lux Vinyl Karnedean range and it looks so good. Waterproof, hard wearing, insulted (so good for apartments) and the materials and design are of a high quality.
I will NEVER give my business to choices horsham again. I have been spoken down to. Belittled and snapped at, all infront of my kids, whilst simply enquiring about prices. Prices which were incorrectly explained to me in the end anyway. Unfortunately i still have half a house to floor and i will now have to find a new company to assist me. Terrible sales man, with a miserable attitude and no respect for me as a fellow human. You personally Just cost your company a $1700 job.
Outstanding customer service
Would just like to say a huge thank- you to Nikita from Choices Flooring Bundall. Her customer service was exceptional. Let a loan her product knowledge was outstanding. Choices Bundall was the first store we went into & didn't consider going anywhere else after leaving. As everyone with young children would know, shopping can be quiet hard. Nikita provided colouring in & entertainment whilst we looked around, which put our mind at ease. We greatly appreciated her patience. We assumed the process would be daunting but it was nothing but easy going. We are over the moon and can't thank Choices Bundall enough.
Turned up late
Purchased new carpet for our house, was called the day before to be told a time frame.Which was between 7 and 9 am.
Waited till 9am no show,no phone call
I called them, they said one of the installers was sick, now they will be there between 11 and 1.
1 pm no show called again.
They turned up at 1.20 pm.
The installers themselves were great no complaints.
Due to the fact they didn't call to advise me they are going to be late,i will not get my kitchen floor from them.
A disappointing experience remedied by good staff
We had a poor experience with the installer however both Stefan and Denise from choices flooring have been very helpful in getting things fixed up.
It does demonstrate a lot about a company who are willing to fix these kinds of things
Returned to fix issue
Laminate flooring had sunk. The subcontractor was away on holidays and then they came good on their word and returned to fix the issue. Overall happy enough with the service.
We needed a quote quickly for an Investment Property Jamie from Choices Flooring , Young quoted and Kerrie was really helpful with choosing our carpet all in less than a week It was laid ! Amazing
Love this carpet
Bring back the commercial with the dancing girl in the red dress
We have wool carpet bought in 2011 still like new and was less expensive than nylon
very happy with it.Would recommend it
horrible experience where I have been mislead and ignored
Terrible service from start to finish. I was lied to about the flooring and told it required very little maintenance. After only a few months I started to notice the flooring was extremely dry in mutiple areas. Not long after there where visable stains. I contacted choices and they gave me the run around constantly told somebody would contact me wait a week call again same thing. Finally they come out to inspect the floor and tell me its an "older version" an oiled product that required being re oiled at least once per year. I told them had I h...ave known i never would have purchased it. They apply a sample coat that fades after mearly 8 weeks. I am told they will come out to do the floor and they would be in contact. It has now been 10 months since i first issued the complaint and nothing has been done. I emailed choices on friday morning and of course have had no response. Unfortunately it looks like legal action is required :/
Excellent from go to whoa from choices flooring balgowlah
Just had cavalier bremworth carpet installed and it looks fantastic. The store staff were very good and the layers arrived on time, were very pleasant and did a top job. Excellent result all round.
Most Disturbing - Choices Flooring Centenary (in Jindalee)
The experience with Choice Flooring Centenary (in Jindalee) office is disturbing indeed. Money was no objection. All went well until the day of installation. I was harassed, bullied, threatened for no reason. The installer made a mistake and blamed it on me with Stu coming to my home trying to pin blame on me. Half an hour i had to sit down listening & enduring to his raving accusation. I was thinking to myself then what weaseling talk this is. When i found out mistake was only $80.00 i offered amount to proceed with the laying. Then i missed ...the final invoice & when i received a reminder i quickly replied that i will be looking into it soon. On the same afternoon I got a call from Stu yelling abuse, threats & more bully so much so i had to politely tell him im terminating call. Then he sent a threat of putting on a debt collector. The invoice is only $1300.00 & it was only a week late in my payment. There are other flooring people out there...steer well clear of of these people here. Believe me these people here don't deserve your business. I have referred matter to Office Of Fair Trading for their unconscionable conduct & will be employing a solicitor to seek remedy. This guy Stu is a real stool. In my entire life i have never come across a company that behave so bad.....these people here really do not deserve your business

Questions & Answers
Is there a head office phone number or email address where I can contact regarding installation and quality issues with new carpets (installed in January)?
Choices F.Choices Flooring
Hi, please call (03) 9850 9311 and ask to speak to a product representative. Thanks, Choices Flooring Marketing.
Please tell me can I make a complaint about a Choices Flooring completed job? I have already spoken to owner/manager of the store who said the problem created by the tiler is unfixable.
Choices Flooring store manager told me there is no choice but to use metal edge on internal doorway after laying vinyl tiles. Is that true? Or can wood dowel material be used instead to avoid feet being cut by sharp edges when the product does not sit flat because of the uneven floor?
Choices F.Choices Flooring
I have checked with our product manager and he is happy to chat to you about your issue: 03 9850 9311 - Ask for Terry Triggs.
There is not a clear cut answer to Rose’s question. What has to be taken in to account is the subfloor and if vinyl tile is butting up to another flooring category that has a height variance. The sales consultant might have suggested the trim to be used is a Ripple Trim, which is metal cover plate with a design finish (ripples). Depending on the “other” category a tile trim can be used, which has a seamless edge.
As mentioned, there are to many variables. Maybe have Rose ring me directly
