Choice Flooring Blacktown store staff not very professional
2pm on 24th Feb 2020
Last Friday I sent a message through their web site asking one of their staff to ring me back to discuss their flooring options and prices. This morning, being Monday a sales man did ring me. As I talked with him on the phone he sounded abrupt and got annoyed with me when I told him their prices were too expensive and more than I could afford to pay.
I ended our phone conversation after a short period of time as they were too expensive for my budget but he did not hung up his phone properly. Before I hung up my phon...e I could hear him in the background talking to other sales staff about me. He was saying things with a rude undertone that were incorrect . I will never visit the Blacktown shop for advice or to obtain a quote if this is how they treat potential customers. This mans behaviour shows he was really not interested in making a sale. There was no need for his rude comments once he thought I was not listening to him on the phone. I was shocked that a sales person did not realise they had not hung up their phone properly and went on to speak about me to other colleagues.
lost a good sale
Visited the Choices Flooring store at Centenary Centre today. Went back to them as i had bought flooring from them before. Picked the same flooring that we bought before expecting the amount to be what we were told was the cost per square metre, then the good news it would cost us $150.00 extra to get it from their warehouse. Bear in mind this was the run of the mill laminate flooring so nothing special about it. What did we do went to the carpet shop two doors down and bought the same product and spent $1500 with them. Someone needs to be to look at their business practices
Very unprofessional - a shocking way to run any business
We hade an appointment for a home visit from the Castle Hill store.
When they were over 30 mins late we rang them to be told they were only minutes away.
When they arrived a hour late and blamed traffic - didn't introduce themselves or apologise for their timing - and then had forgotten to bring an agreed sample floorboard.........but wait.......they then got cranky at us and spat the dummy and walk out.......yep walked out...... and believe it or not - this was the owner of the Castle Hill store.......... We are so glad we learnt what this company was like at this early stage.
You be the judge.........thanking you.
Imperfect job completion - Unsightly Gap
There has been several gaps in the laminate floor that was installed (Choices flooring in Fountain Gate) and it has been nearly a year but no one came to fix the problem although they said someone would do it. Wondering if the jobs are being outsourced and the person in charge is uncontactable.

Choices Dandenong are taking no accountability for our faulty flooring, they are telling us that the flooring has become faulty/dangerously slippery due to the way it has been cleaned (with water in a mist mop) when the manufacturer attended to inspect our flooring, they advised me I'd need to clean all of it (on hands and knees) with acetone on a microfiber cloth! I must also mention that I have a newborn baby in my home in which they knew of! (And yet they still asked me to use strong fumes in my home)
They did not even care when I told the...m I am scared I will fall over with him in my arms. I have fallen over a couple of times and thankfully not with my baby! I have to wear socks with grips on the bottom or shoes with rubber underneath when I am walking around in my own home. The manufacturer, installer of the flooring and builder of the home have now wiped their hands clean and have left me with the flooring how it is, as they will not rectify this issue. Very disappointing!
Returned to fix issue
Laminate flooring had sunk. The subcontractor was away on holidays and then they came good on their word and returned to fix the issue. Overall happy enough with the service.
