Great service - until there was damage.
Very pleased with the team at Bells. Chris was great providing the quote and also when we reconfirmed our order. The removal team were very good. They took great care and attention. Happy to recommend them, in fact, we already have to our neighbour.
N.B. The above survey comments were made prior to leaving Hobart.
That was OK until the goods arrived damaged and the 'team' at Bells did everything in their power to obstruct and squirm their way out of paying for the repair. Also, we were hit with extra costs the day before delivery because we were moving into a high rise ( something which Bells were fully aware of prior to the move).

Is this typical?
An interstate move. I was forced to alter my travel plans and "camp" in the new house for two days because Bell's admin seemingly forgot that the ship carrying my stuff was in drydock! They rang and told me of this only after they had uplifted!!
My stuff arrived too late in the day to be properly unpacked; the three men left after nightfall. I pretty much had to order them to bring everything into the house; they were clearly desperate to move on; the huge truck had other consignments to be delivered after mine was unloaded.

objects and pieces of furniture were damaged and several boxes had no labels apart from the ones that I had affixed, so a proper reconciliation with the checklist was not possible. I emailed the company but they were not prepared to compensate me for the damaged items, even though the damage was clearly a result of their negligence.Similar opinion? Will not use Bell again.

Know better, choose better.
Poor workmanship
I recommend that others seriously consider whether to use this company. We recently moved from interstate and when the furniture and boxes arrived, there were four significant items that were broken. When I presented photographic evidence of the breakages to Bell's management, the response was: "On checking our records we find that you declined transit insurance cover offered to you. Your removal was carried out under the terms and conditions of our Contract for Removal and Storage under which we are not liable for any loss or damage.
