Clairol Nice 'n Easy 6 Natural Light Brown

Not sure if formula has changed. Recently in 2026 have tested stranded sunset copper, beautiful colour but extremely bold. Used 7.0 dark blonde which is ok. And now 6.0 again. with only one box. It's not really good for white/Grey's doesn't penetrate properly. It does have less of a smell and damage is minimal.

Have used 6.0 in the past about 2 years ago in 2024 with no issue, was actually quite impressed with it. Starting point about medium blonde. No colour fill required 6.0 (light brown) came out 5.0 (medium brown) initially but faded to correct colour within a week, say 3 washes. Faded about 80% over extended period. The fading was very even but ran a little warm

Awful Product now you have changed it – The New Nice and Easy hair dye is awful i have used 10 years, the mixing of it is a mess, the application is horrible, it takes a long time to do your hair now - twice as long. Fantastic home use hair dye – Loved this, I have used other products and this was the first one that covered all my greys and the colour was just what I wanted. The colour has lasted for over a month, no residue left behind, my hair is shiny, bouncy and healthy. Show details

Didnt change colour at all and a lot of hair loss – Although easy to apply, and keeping it in for 5min longer than even recommended, the colour didnt change at all. So much hair fell out while washing the dye out. Disappointed Show details

Bring back the old formula – Like all the other reviews...... Have used this brand over 30 years, going from a 5 to a 6A. The new formula does not cover the grey, leaving the roots light with an orange tinge. I will be using a different brand from now on, please change the formula back to the original one. Show details

Totally misleading colour on box! – I have just used the new clairol Natural Instincts range. I used the Light Brown colour which looked just right in the colour results. But its not! Its not remotely light brown. My hair has turned out the darkest darkest brown ever, and my hair was a dark blonde to start with. Very unhappy with results. Change so bad – After using number 6 for a few years light brown colour. Since number change and new tube in box which do not like, preferred bottle. After using the new box hair was more like black will not be buying no more after years of use. Show details

It's a HORRIBLE HAIR DYE!! it constantly runs – I followed the instructions exactly as it's written. shirt at the back cause I don't blow dry my hair after washing, I key it air dry. Sad sad experience I will not buy it again. HELLO white hairs! if in my case it's either whites or your nice and easy hair color I choose nothing.

Extremely Disappointed – Extremely disappointed. From the messy and cumbersome metal tubes (holding the color), to the infinitesimal gloves. I can barely find any Clairol colors in Walgreens or CVS. Something has clearly gone wrong at this company and I'll be switching products.

matte colour to offset all the gold in ly hair and expected it to turn out darker than the box.

The dye was horrible, it ran out very quickly. I was happy for it to taper off towards the ends and leave blonde on the ends but I had as good as run out half way through evrn though my hair is currently only 50%its usual thickness. I recomend two bottles unless you have a pixie cut or thin shoulder length hair or just want to introduce lowlights.

The dye also stained my skin and spattered on my wall and it required a bit of elbow grease and cleaning hacks to remove.

Dissatisfied – I have been using this colour for several years and have always been happy with it. Since the product has been renewed I have found it is alot darker. I'll be looking for a different make.

too dark – Have been using nice and easy for yrs but just used the new formula no 6 and hair came out too dark almost black . Should have been light dark blond going to wedding nx fri and trying to lighten hair before that . Not abut happy about this
