Pool still Leaking
We purchased a sunsoka pool from campbelltown branch 4 years ago this is our second liner and leaking again. It was poorly installed and had to fight with them to replace first liner. SO I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!!!!!!!
Change of sand charged $321.00
We needed to replace send in a filter and have been charged by Clark Rubber $321.00 (5 bags of sand supplied). When asked why we are being charged so much, Paul advised that the cost of one bag of sand is $20.00, so we have paid $270.00 for 5 bags of cheap sand , labor inclusive. Guys, $170.00 cost in labor to replace sand in a filter! The rest of $51.00 was for some plastic parts, and even that price was altered on their invoice.
False and misleading advertising and hostile manager
I went to nidrie store and they had mats advertised as 50% off only to be told no that is old posters we use
upon complaint to manager was aggressively treated and told she knows the law. Guess what she does not and that should be stopped
Rude and disrespectful
I called Clark rubber head office regarding an experience at one of their franchises, they were rude and arrogant. I think Clark rubbers days are numbered. It's obvious what is at the top of this business is filtering down.
I went into one of the suburban stores in nunawadimg to enquire about an above ground pool, the sales person was very disinterested and really looked like I was keeping her from other more important things, I had to keep repeating my questions as she just wasn't listening. I called their head office to let them know and received the same type of disinterested response from them. I would never walk back into one of the Clark ribber store again.
Worst Customer Service Ever...RUDE!!!!
On Sunday at the Richmond store I experienced the worst customer service ever in HISTORY!!
The girl was disinterested, offered no information to my inquiry re foam beds, and no welcome or goodbye or not even a thank you as I left Clarke with some of my well earned money!!
When I left all she muttered was ""is that all?" It certainly will be, I will never shop there again and encourage all to shop online if you must buy similar products!!
Mortgage your house for a piece of foam.
Visited Clark Rubber to buy a piece of memory foam 100cm x 68cm x 5cm for which they quoted me $197 (Insanely ridiculous).
Instead, I went online and bought a memory foam mattress overlay 187cm x 137cm x 5cm for well under $100 delivered.
Good luck Clark Rubber.... will be doing all my foam and rubber shopping online from now on.
Clark Rubber - Bendigo
I bought a Sunsoaker above ground pool with a 1.0hp filtrite pump 5 years ago from Clark Rubber in Bendigo inside of a month from purchase the Pump housing cracked.
I removed the pump and took back to Clark Rubber where the owner berated me and said it must have been due to something I had done, to which I was speechless he then told me to take it to their repairer across the other side of town,to which I did and there was approx another 6 pumps the same brand (not sure of sizes) to be repaired also.
Anyway its now 5 years later and the same thing has happened again Cracked Pump Housing obviously not happy and will never buy anything from Bendigo Clark Rubber ever again.
Customer service as it should be
On the weekend I went to Clark Rubber Castle Hill looking for information on how to operate the pool in my new house. The staff were able to answer most of my questions and offered a tutorial service from a pool technician. The technician came to visit us the next day and explained everything we wanted to know and showed us things we didn't realise we needed to do. Top service!!
Clark rubber port macquarie recently moved and whaen i visited the store i was amazed with the service and personality of the staff , i commented to the owner who then thanked me and helped me with my items to my car
Refuse to refund
Brought a "8" inflatable pool, cover, tarp, chlorine & pool toys from Clarks Rockingham for my kids Christmas, to later find out my a family member also brought my kids a "12" inflatable pool!
Deciding that the bigger one would give them more space to swim, and given that I had my receipt and had not even taken the plastic wrapper off the box that I would take it back for a refund. I would keep all the other products I purchase from clarks but obviously did not need 2 pools.
Well, the store owner strait out refused to provide a refund, offe...
Clark rubber = fail
Bought a pool cover off Clark rubber online, was apparently sent 8 days after purchase, but never received it. Emailed a few times, no response, called Bayswater where apparently it was sent from, they said they have nothing to do with Clark rubber online. called clark rubber online, and as per the other reviews, left my name and number, no one has called me back. Out of pocket for a 10 foot pool cover, thankfully only $30, but all round shonky service from a name I thought was respected. Don't waste your time and money, buying from Hong Kong would be more of a guarantee than this place (which in fact is what we did!).
Clark Rubber is Expensive
I have been to Clark Rubber half a dozen times in the hope of buying rubber sheet and block, tarpaulins and pool noodles. I have never walked out of that store with anything... Why? The prices are astronomic and I am baffled as to why they still operate as a business, to be respectfully honest.
Hoppers not hopping to it, pretty sad.
Used to be a great store, they they just keep selling me stuff and the pool wasn't clear at all. More complaints from others as we waited for the tester to come back from lunch (only one tester on or another guy cutting foam and the woman doesn't test water), as it appears others also think this mgmt has changed or not as good as a few years back (the customers all kinda know each other) so, I actually did my own research and think I have sorted the problem without the need to buy more from them, but I doubt i'll be back. Hoppers Crossing is...falling down badly, was soooo good. what happened guys? I might add i even said, "I think i'll have to go somewhere else" and he said "okay", lol. Have found Willy Pools, closer actually, so will give them a shot when i need to, right now, lovely pool, nice and blue and hoppers, hey, no thanks to you! Course, if YOU come clean, i am happy to adjust this review.
Such disappointing Service from a well know name
Yesterday morning 21/11/2014 I rang the number listed on the internet for Clark Rubber - 138090 - got their weird 'comic 'message and pressed relevant key to speak to someone re an item in their online section. Got same message again and it then said something like "we are very busy at the moment but leave your name and number and we will call you". Well - here it is 24+ hours later and no response. So disappointing - I have always had a good feeling about this company but no more. Sue
Warning on inflatable pools
I recently went into clark rubber chirnside park to purchase an above ground pool thats 12 foot wide and 76cms deep holding 7600 litres of water. Not until after i bought it got it home ripped it out of the box in excitement set it up and filled it did i realise i need a council permit and fence around it. Yes call me naieve ignorant stupid all of the above but im not up to date on every single law in the country and never had a pool in my life. Buyer beware! Any pool that holds water at a depth of 30 cms needs council permits approval and fenc...ing and clark rubber staff will not personally advise you of these laws and requirments. The staff members i dealt with that day about technical issues of the pool really had no idea about anything really. When i complained and said they should inform people of the required laws a salesperson told me theres a label on the box and i should have read it and they are not required by law to open their mouths and inform anyone of any council requirments. Lesson learnt here do your own research and dont rely on any professional clark rubber staff to inform you of anything you dont know.
Ill informed sales people!
Recently went to clark rubber ferntree gully for more chemicals for my spa, was informed the chemical I was using is no longer available. Was given a replacement product and assured that it was compatible. After spending two days performing regular maintenance on my spa, draining water, flushing pipes and cleaning. I refilled my spa and proceeded to add chemicals, this is where it all went horribly wrong, the chemical I was assured was compatible wasn't, my clear water suddenly turned white and foamed up as well as leaving a dark brown glue ...like substance on the top of the foam, which has stuck to the sides of my spa. My filters are now ruined and can't be cleaned. Upon returning to clark rubber, the sales person spoke to the manager and he assured us that the spa was still good to use and the water will return to normal in 48 hrs if it isn't he will send his technician out to fix it!. It has now been a week, I have sent him a photo of the foamy water and an explanation via text message which was ignored and no response received, so I returned to the store where I find The manager is now denying that we were sold the wrong chemical, claims he is waiting for the technical rep and the manufacturer to reply to his query about this product. Since then I have had to empty my spa and scrub the glue like substance off with Prepsol. The manager is extremely rude, arrogant and takes great delight in talking over the top of you... There has been no mention whatsoever of a reimbursement of any kind, let alone any suggestion of help fixing the damage created by his ill informed staff. When I mentioned that I am left with an unuseable spa he emphatically denied that I am not, however his technician (his son) admitted that it is not ideal to use a spa that has no filters or chemicals added to the water! After receiving no help at all I mentioned that I will be going to consumer affairs and we will sort it out through them his response was "You Go For It". There is no customer service whatsoever, simply happy to provide you with the wrong advice, take your money, and that's where his liability to the consumer seems to end. Abhorrent Customer Service, Manager extremely Rude and Arrogant, Most Unhelpful!
inflatable swimming pool
I have just bought a inflatable pool from Clark rubber in Joondalup, after taking it home and putting it together and filling it with water it was very soft rubber and the only support it has in the walls is a inflatable top rubber ring that you fill with air. This is not strong enough to support the wall and also water volume overnight the wall failed and the side of the pool gave away causing the pool to dump it's entire water content into the yard. On contacting clark rubber to say what had happened they said I needed to take photo's of the...failed pool for them to think about what they will do, with no assurance of a refund. I told them I had packed it back up in the box it came in to return it. The assistant was rude and said I can bring it in and they will look at it and go back to their supplier to see what they will do, with still no talk of any refund. Again just being rude the whole time. It is obvious they are happy taking customers money but certaintly not happy refunding any. Very disappointing and will not be using their business in the future. Flimsy, poorly designed product with design faults.
The pool saga ends
This is a saga over about 2yrs. If it wasn't for the owner of the Clark Rubber store in Enfield, S.A I would have gone around the twist. About 2 yrs ago we purchased a second home. It had a pool and a spa. The pool is an above ground pool put in the ground and the spa is an Aussie made spa with a cedar cabinet and imported Balboa control unit. There were some issues with these items.
These issues were.
1.Sand filter problems.
2.Air and water leaks in the plumbing.
3. Rusty side wall.
4. Broken skimmer box
5.Not to standard pool fencing.
6..Spa control malfunctioning.
7.Pump failure. ...
Old fashioned service is back!
I recently went into the Busselton store and I was amazed by the instant greeting and great help and advice I received. My pool cleaner hasn't worked properly for ages and I was going to buy a new one but they fixed mine for $32, and it now works a dream. They also answered all the questions I asked about my pool and more. I haven't had service like this for a long time.
Genuine customer service
Clark Rubber - Habberfield
Went to Clark Rubber - Habberfield this morning and was shocked when the lady said they don't custom cut rubber for my ute tray, especially when they say they did at castle hill. Castle hill said all up will be $170 and Haberfield said 100+ dollars just or a square meter. How can 2 different stores be so different? Old lady was very rude a well. Will never go back to Clark Rubber Habberfield again!
Zero customer service , very rude and unhelpful.
