Beautiful timber blades
I looked for ages to find a fan that worked quietly and looked nice. I was so impressed when I found this one. The timber blades are smooth and sleek. As a bonus, this was one of the few fans with a remote that I could find that doesn't beep when you change the settings!
Questions & Answers
are plastic or timber ceiling fans better? Which is more quiet? Which fans do you havein white timber that have remote that doesn't beep when you push buttons?
Claro F.Claro Fans
Hi Jwoo, Thanks for asking our first question through Product Review! Most of the time, the choice between a timber blade fan and a fan with ABS plastic blades comes down to personal preferences. The blade material does not really indicate the way a fan performs, there are actually a few things which contribute to the fan’s performance – for example, the motor and the shape of the blades.
It’s a pretty similar story with sounds, neither timber or plastic blades are necessarily quieter, but some people prefer one or the other. The good news is that modern ceiling fans are designed to operate fairly quietly, as long as the installing electrician follows the instructions provided in the manual. We think you might like the Sleeper in White, it has solid timber blades and the remote does not beep when you press the buttons!
