I have brought this product because they were cheap and after 2 months the frame broke near the pivot with the arm. I contacted them send pics and no back up service at all, people stay away from these chinese distributors they are after turnover with a crap product.

Quality is an issue
It's a great site and easy to use. The range is also good. The problem is the actual product. I received my Ray Ban prescription sunglasses in March 2018. Over the last 6 months the lens covering is flaking off and becoming increasingly hard to see through.
I made contact with Clearly last month as I felt that 18 months is not long enough for sunglasses to last. They simply said they only have a 12 month warranty and couldn't help me.
I feel the materials used were at fault as I've never experienced this issue with any of my other sunnies...
Poor quality glasses and misleading
I have been dealing with them since 2008. The quality always been rubbish but I used to purchase a number of frames knowing that they would not last long. But the most recent issue I had is when I ordered an Oakley sunglasses. At checkout I was giving the option to pay for $9 express shipping; it stated a guaranteed 1-3 days delivery. After paying for item, this has increased to 10 days. When I contacted them via online chat they pumped it up to 17 days! What a joke. I cancelled the order for the principle of it.
I will never be buying anything from this website. Dodgy and misleading.

Poor quality and very poor customer service
I ordered a pair of glasses from Clearly contacts. They arrived in a two week timeframe completely bent out of shape so the result was that they were completely unwearable. They offer a 14 day refund which I have used but still waiting to get my money back. Would not use again.
Expect your purchase never arrive to your place
I placed an order on the 27 of October (one month ago) because Im leaving Australia on the beginning of December, I thought I had enough time to receive my contact lenses try and in case of return have plenty of time to do it. Well it turns out that my contact lenses have an special prescription, which I understand that it could take a little bit more time on being processed and shipped. But apparently there was an issue with the shipment because I didnt put the suburb, I checked that one day after I hadnt received my purchase. Auspost return i...t to the sender. As soon as I knew that, I called them (this was on 7th November). And what they told me is that as soon as they receive the product back from the auspost they will re send it to me, I was ok with that expecting that was not going to take too long. Well Ive been calling for three weeks to see what happened with that and I was still waiting on my contact lens, Ive told them I have to leave, Ive told them its important because I dont have more time and I could continue. What they told me last time before today was that they were going to receive their package on the 21st of November and max time for me to receive was today. I called today and they with a lack of interest for my case told me they havent receive the product so they havent send it yet, after they told me today was the last day for me to receive it. What really disappointed me is that they said they have lots of orders and they cannot control what is happening just with one haha. I have worked in logistics and in customer service and the worst thing you should ever say to your customer is that their purchase is not that important to track or to pay attention. I gave them the solution of calling the Aus post and asked them what happen with the package, I dont thing they even thought about it. After that I gave them the other solution, to return me the money they said yeah that one sounds better for us Not recommended at all.
Clearly - Lack of customer support
I have been a customer of the company Clearly acquired for probably around 12 years and I was very happy with them. Clearly are a disaster. My right eye contacts turned up and my left ones were on back order which I was advised and then nothing since. After just under 3 weeks later I enquired and was told they were waiting on the manufacturer and they would chase it up, they didn't and that conversation is not recorded on their contact software. From the time of purchase to supply is estimated as 6 weeks. I Googled found a company far cheaper and they are coming to now, ex stock!
Delays, and then my lens never arrived
Former customer of OzContacts, always had great service. Clearly.com bought them a few months ago and with my first order they were out of stock. Delayed shipment by a week (even though I paid for express). I couldn't use my PO Box so had to use my home address. They used AusPost standard delivery, no signature, and it was "left in a safe place" which it wasn't, as I never received my contacts.
So if you're ordering from them maybe have a look at other companies that actually can deliver.
Terrible Service and misleading
We have been using Web Contacts QLD for over 10 years perfectly until they got bought over by this group.
Both of our orders made online said in stock, we also paid for express post. 1 day later we received e-mails saying no stock and no expected time for delivery.
You then call locally to get transferred offshore who still cannot offer you a date. I felt like I was being scammed so blocked my credit payment. However, was too late for my partner who's still awaiting lenses 3 weeks later with no updates.
BUYER beware than this company does n...ot have stock in Australia and you will wait weeks with no updates. They take your money and run and make you chase them! Needs to be investigated. This business has been ruined and somebody out there needs to start a new Australian based company to get these cowboys out the picture!
Do not purchase from this company. They seem to be buying up all other online services. I was a loyal customer of ozcontacts I loved their service, pricing and the way they kept customers informed. This business is a sorry excuse for such a vital service. I was not informed my contacts were out of stock. I was told they had been shipped only to find out there was no tracking number and my contacts had to be sourced from Canada. If I had have been told they were out of stock by Tuesday I could have made other arrangements to order elsewhere now ...its too late. Do not recommend them at all. Will be lodging a complaint with Fair Trade as everyone else should. Get this fake Aussie Company cancelled. Their customer service and products are all outsourced from other countries. Nothing Aussie about it.

Great glasses at amazing price
Have purchased through here 3 times over a number of years. Latest paid are bifocals without the annoying line in the middle. Quote through the optometrist was almost twice he price that they cost through Clearly. The glasses arrived quickly and have been great. True to the size advertised and no issues with wearing them.

Should be investigated
My problem with them is the same as all those reviews with 2 star or less. Can't believe they are allowed to advertise contact lenses that they don't have stock of. They take your money and then give you an update that your lens is a back order with no eta of the actual delivery. If you do not have stock, be upfront about it and offer a refund and not take my money and give me stupid excuses. They should be investigated for the practices they do by ACCC.
Misleading information on website
I had been a customer of NetOptical for years until they were recently bought out by Clearly. Today I went to reorder exactly the same contact lenses as I used to buy and they were $25 per box more than NetOptical used to charge. So I rang them and was answered by some overseas call centre, not Australian - they say on their website "Same awesome Aussie service" - really??? Would not budge on the price even though they say they price match and I quoted exactly the same lenses on another Australian site for $72 - the website had to be "on their list"! What a con! Just gave up after that.

You get what you pay for...
I ordered glasses from Clearly using their Buy one Get one offer, I only wanted a backup set of reading glasses as I had mislaid my only set and intend to go to Specsavers for a new test and replacements. I paid $29 and used the BOGO offer to get free shipping and the second pair were a bonus. The $29 frames are very cheap plastic frames I chose two different styles and was sorry I did because the second style I chose are very flimsy and I doubt they would stand any drops or mishandling. They advertise that each set comes with a case and cleani...ng cloth. The 'case' I received was a cheap microfibre cloth pouch which is not a case in my view. Overall I got what I paid for a very cheap set of glasses that I can use as a backup on a temporary basis, not the 'bargin' they portray themselves as. I don't know if you would receive a high quality product if you spent a large amount of money with them but certainly if you chose a low cost option you will get what you pay for not a bargain.
Ordered my contacts over 4 weeks ago. Contacted them 2 weeks later asking where my receipt and order information was, was told that I entered my information incorrectly and the contacts were sent back to the warehouse (yeah right) but had no problems taking my money. Customer Service said they will resend the contacts with express freight. Contacts still haven't shipped.
I should have listened to the (recent) reviews
Went ahead and ordered as a former Net Optical customer (they were bought out by Clearly). While I did note the number of recent poor reviews, a friend had said he ordered from them in the past and all OK. This was a really urgent order so I didn't want to waste any time looking elsewhere so ordered last week with the extra expense of express shipping.
I received a note the next day as follows: "A portion of your order is still required from the manufacturer to complete the order. We've contacted them, and at this time they estimate that we w...ill receive that product on Sep 18, 2019 at our facility. Once received, we will complete your order and ship it to you as quickly as possible. You will receive a follow-up email notifying you when your order has shipped." Tried contacting them over the weekend with no response (apparently a 7 day contact centre). Called them today to find out just how long a delay there would be and the guy on the phone said they've had a black out from the supplier and estimated delivery of 3-4 WEEKS. He basically said they were not responding to Clearly. To their credit I did mention about the express shipping, so he gave me a $20 discount on the order. As the order is really urgent I had to call up another place (Eye Contacts) and there's no black out for them. Order will arrive within the week!
My glasses broke within 6 months of purchase! Reported this a week ago and have had no help. Do not trust this company.
Good product but pathetic after sales service. Will never use them again. Glasses frame broke within 6 months of use. Reported issue 7 days ago. No offer from company for any type of resolution.
I was a long-term NetOptical customer and always had exceptional and reliable service with prompt delivery times. NetOptical was recently acquired by Clearly. I ordered lenses two weeks ago and they failed to inform me of a supplier issue. That was despite their false claims in their website that they stock two million lenses and process orders the same day. I ended up cancelling and demanding a refund... if that doesn't come through I'll report them for fraud. Don't order from this company.
