Hi, we are booked into the Animation Camp at St Andrews for 5/6 January and have requested a refund multiple times in the last 2 weeks (via email and chat on the CodeCamp website) due to covid lockdown on Northern Beaches. To date I have received no response whatsoever from anyone at CodeCamp. Could someone please help. Happy to provide booking reference etc when not via a public forum. Many thanks, Andrew Tait
Hi Andrew, apologies for the delay here on Product Review. I can see that the team replied and processed a full credit on January 4. Please feel free to reach out via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) if any follow-up questions. Many thanks. Ben
Do you need to have done spark or ignite before you do this camp. (even if you have prior experience from another provider?)
The description says you do but the latest description I read of ignite said "unless you have heaps of outside experience". Best to call and confirm.
Hi, I am considering enrolling my 5 1/2 into the coding course at Newcastle Grammar. He can be a little shy around kids he doesn’t know and quiet in big groups. I was just wondering if a course like this would be good for him and how many have booked for the 16 & 17 course and if there were any boys booked in?
Hi Alissa, thanks so much for getting in touch. Our Little Heroes camp is designed to get kids working together in teams to solve fun coding problems. We often find that kids who are shy will walk away with new friends and a newfound love of coding :) Little Heroes tends to have a 50/50 male/female ratio so that won't be an issue either. Thanks, Josh
Ok great it sounds like a lot of fun. Do you have many spots left for the 16 & 17?
Hi Alissa, we still have good availability for those dates in Newcastle. We expect this will sell out nearer the time though :)
Our girl is 5 1/2, she is a little shy and need some time to adjust to strangers, especially with boys. We would really love to send her to your January Glen Waverley VIC program. Are there any similar aged girls enrolled in the program? Many thanks
Hi there! Thank you for getting in touch. Our Wesley Glen Waverley location is always a popular choice. It looks as though there is a good mix of boys and girls currently enrolled in Spark next week :)
How many hours per day is the Spark camp and at what times?
It was drop off between 8.30-9 and pick up between 3-4
I think it is 2 days and generally goes from 9am to 3.30pm. That is the case for Burgmann code camps
Thanks for reaching out. Our camps run from 9am (with drop-off from 8.30) to 3.30pm (with pick-up until 4pm).
Kids also get 30 minutes recess in the morning and an hour for lunch where they can play outside and grab something to eat.
My son can already code simple games in Scratch, should he do level 1 or level 2?
What time does it start
Hi Jonah! Camps typically run from 9am to 3.30pm, with drop off starting at 8.30am and pick up until 4.00pm. At selected venues, you can opt for later collection for a small fee. Thanks!
Hi, can you please let me know the cost for laptop hire? Thanks
Hi Mel! Thanks for getting in touch. You can bring your own laptop or we hire out laptops at the cost of $29 per child. Give us a call on 1300 CODECAMP or email us at email@example.com if you need anything else. :)
Hi, my children would like to attend, please let we know if we have to bring their tablets? Thanks
Hi Linh! Thanks for getting in touch. Kids create their apps on laptops in our camps Spark, Ignite and Blast! At some schools, they can bring a laptop with them from home or you can hire one from us. Younger kids in our Little League camps use tablets but don't worry, as we provide them for you. Please feel free to call to us on 1300 CODECAMP to discuss this further. :)
I have four boys that would like to attend, please let me know where and when?
Thanks for the message.
Have you signed up to the email wait list? If you have we will send you an email to let you know when you can enrol your child at Code Camp.

Thanks see you and your four boys in the summer holidays!
