Excellent company/excellent shed

Ordered a shed from Col Western. It was ready earlier than expected, chose to pay the extra to have it delivered and installed which went well the guys that turned up were polite and very professional. I was surprised to see the shed arrive in solid wall and roof panels instead of 100 different pieces. This is one good quality solid shed.

Worst Experience

Had a very worst experience with these guys and I will never ever recommend them to anyone. Going to convey the same to pool builder so that they will not recommend them to anyone either.

I have ordered a "standard measurement pool filter cover", as suggested by pool builder, with delivery and install.

The install/delivery guys were very rude in the first place and they couldn't install it as the ordered pool filter cover cant be installed due to a downpipe in its way. They are not doing anything for free, we have paid for each and everything... Read more

and they could show some real decency to customers. Also, these were the questions they should ask before taking an order, as a newbie, we would be assuming they can take care of these adjustments during the install time. And finally, they left the pool filter cover at my house. Now their boss called me to understand the situation and told, he will fix the issue by sending the team to custom measure the requirements and adjust the invoice accordingly adjusting the old filter cover price. The pool filter cover is still sitting at my place due to the 3 weeks shutdown break. The delivery guys came and measured the new requirements and said, they cannot take the equipment back because its second hand and they cannot sell it. How on earth, it became second hand, when it is untouched and lying in the same place as where they left. On top, its the standard measurement pool filter which can be resold. Now, this is called CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.

The perfect shed

Great shed. I was impressed with the Barbara from the Oak Flat office. Refined my ideas and provided great advice. Better shed at a better price. Can't fault the installation or workmanship. I am currently conducting guided tours of my shed. Might have to start charging admission.... LoL

Very good service

Wanted a shed built to a specific size. The follow up to my email was very good and the process to order and have the shed delivered was very well done.

Great sheds, I've got 8-9 of them

I've bought a few sheds from Col Western over the last 8 years.
Barb has been involved in the last 4 or 5, she knows her stuff.
They are great sheds.
I probably have to get another one next year.

From Old & Small to New & Bigger Shed

Staff at Col Western - Penrith outlet & head office, namely Rochelle, Suzy & Lorraine were very helpful from planning to delivery. Upgrading to a colourbond shed, 5.4 x 3.1mts is something we have been planning for some time. Installation was quick & professional. Overall glad we went with Col Western.

Great company, great service

This is our 4th garden shed , we have only bought from col western sheds , simply because of the sturdy construction ,reasonable price ,and their use of quality thick steel and colourbond finish . The service was quick and very affordable it was delivered in under 2 weeks and with a friendly team that nothing was to much to ask !

Good quality sheds

They delivered what we wanted and expected and on time. We bought two quality Aussie made sheds for two properties. The shefs are sturdy and the colour range suited us. All the staff were helpful throughout the process.

Unreliable

This company came to my house in May 2020 to provide a measure & quote. The guy told me I would have the quote by the end of the week. I never heard from him again. When I chased this up I was told I would have to book another appointment and wait a further 3 weeks for a quote. Apparently it's my fault for not chasing them up sooner! Try a different company, a reliable shed builder that actually does what they say & doesn't blame the client for their incompetence.

Shed assembly and install

From the initial enquiry through to the delivery on site the team were easy to deal with.
The shed was manufactured quicker than the original date and delivered earlier than expected. The quality was perfect and due to it being pre-assembled in panels installation was easy.

Great service

Good experience: 2.3m square shed - DIY assembly

Friendly sales staff and follow up. Delivered when stated. All pieces required and all the correct size. This might sound like a given but reading reviews of other suppliers makes you appreciate this basic requirement.

The only points that could be improved are:
- instructions not 100% accurate, but to counter this their assembly charge is amazingly reasonable, it took me about 5 hours to assemble - two electric drills would be handy to save time switching bits for every screw fitting. omplete. - the sliding door is not very substantial and the lock mechanism is a token effort, not sure how good the hinge door is but don’t put anything of value in the shed. - odd to say this but in hindsight for a first time buyer, the sales staff could have pushed more options. A skylight would’ve been nice. Overall very happy, well done CW.

Pool Shed

Quality built shed

Customer service was excellent and helpful. The priceing was also competitive. It was built in a timely matter by staff. Only complaints is there was a few scratches and that here and there on some panels but im just a bit ocd with that stuff.

The second Col Western Shed we have had in the last 5 years. Very helpful design, measuring, timely manufacture, delivery and installation. Is working well. The earlier shed on another property is still going well.

My aviary is perfect for my birds

By birds have lots of room to fly and it gives us an opportunity to go inside and sit on a chair to talk to them where they can fly on you as well. I have two blue fronted amazons and two alexandrines

Decent shed. Had a few hiccups along the way

Had shed installed. The Gable was sagging and there was a spray paint touch up on one of the doors, the doors weren't the same size as was ordered and were in the wrong position, however I was happy to leave it like that. I informed Col Western sheds of the touched up door panel and the sagging Gable and the issue was resolved within one week. The shed was ordered with the steel Frame and doors, the main reason I ordered this was for security, however the hinges and hasp lock were only tek screwed inin. I then went ahead and pop riveted all of the fittings in as tek screws are very easily removed by a theif. Overall decent experience, overall decent shed.

Great Product/Service and fast turn around

The Customer service employee helped with suggestions on options and sizing prior to purchasing. The turn around time from placing order and receiving product was 5 days which my shed was a custom size so this was particularly helpful for me

After sales care not satisfactory

I had damage to roof from strong winds, booked repairs with Col Western and told work would be carried out in about two weeks. It has been six weeks now and work still not done, so If you like good after sales support, I think shopping elsewhere would be recommended.

Great customer service

In 2014 we purchased a shed from Col Western sheds in Smeaton Grange NSW 2567 including installation. We were very pleased with the work performed and the style and colour of the shed. Two weeks ago, I noticed that the sliding door was beginning to fade so I took some photos and send them to Col Western and spoke with the office staff. In a weeks’ tie, I had received a call and a brand-new sliding door. I am very pleased with their customer service and follow up on their commitment to good quality products. I recommend anyone looking for a shed to give the folks at Col Western in Smeaton Grange a call.
