First time use and was very happy with it.
First time use over at Moreton Island it is was easy to setup. Love the dark room made it so much better to sleep in. Usually when I go camping I wake at first light due to the fact the tents let in too much light , this truly does keep out all the light. I did not sleep it during the day so unable to comment personally if it was hot but my other family member who had a nap said it was comfortable to sleep in during the day.
Love the vestibule, lots of space.
Only gripe is packing away and the typical how do they fit tents inside the original packaging scenario.
Great features: Ease of set up, weatherproof entry, quality materials, internal privacy windows, extra large bag, fantastic ventilation, internal pockets, lighting cord secures. Cons: zippers catch sometimes.
Used this tent for the first time Easter weekend. Set up - two minutes for tent, five minutes total with vestibule and pegged two people. The darkroom feature is great for a sleep in however without the windows open it can be very dark even in the daylight.
The black internal lining gets very hot in full sun (30c) and radiates heat. Have a Coleman Gold tent 10p it is cooler. A rainy day was no issue. Internal dimensions are smaller than Coleman advise as they use external measurements.
I brought this tent to make life easier when camping. I found that this tent is easy to put up and take down. I am impressed with the quality of the tent and the ease of use. During our trip we encountered 2 storms and it went through these well, considering it is a tent not a caravan it performed well.
It is dark in the tent when closed down which you need when in camping grounds with lights are on and when sunrise comes you are not woken by light. It has good ventilation with 2 good size windows and entry from both ends. You have a entry point for the electrical lead, and pockets around the tent to store small objects. In all this tent is heading in the right direction. We are planning another trip with this tent instead of towing a camper the extra payment to get a better quality tent should pay off with less petrol spent on towing a van.
In all heading in right direction.
