Terrible customer service
I went to purchase a Lyca top up for two people, the rude staff member Christian gave me the wrong vouchers & would not refund my money. I will never set foot in that uncooperative staff

customer service people are purely Rude Behavior and Bad Attitudes ignorant uneducated people.
In my prospective customers expect a manager to be on their side and apologize on behalf of your company when a product or service is at fault They want to hear the Manager say they’re sorry and acknowledge the inconvenience caused. Coles managers and some customer service people are purely Rude Behavior and Bad Attitudes ignorant uneducated people.

Worst supermarket ever
Clutter on the floor, blocking aisles. Rude staff from store manager down to the guy with a broom. Nothing I needed I stock and no-one was interested in helping me order items. Coles Hamilton is the reason cars were invented, so I could move to another town.

Less than one star .. 'Lobster'
The frozen boxed 'lobster' with garlic butter.. simply is not Lobster/Crayfish.
It is fresh water crawlies maybe kept in orange water. $ 108.70 per kilo. $28 per box.. don't waste your time or money!!

Rude and unhelpful
Due to ill health, I had items to return (from incorrect deliveries) from the past three months. The staff member (and manager) were appalling. I’ve shopped at Coles for over forty years, and if I have an experience like this again, I’ll be done with them. I had receipts, and was more than fair in returning wrong products we won’t use, and a faulty item. I hate to think how much we write-off in their stuff-ups!!! Not customer user friendly
It appears now, just about every time I aim to bring an issue to their attention "Our policy and procedures with online orders outline" + OHS matters, despite my honesty in returning an item.
Never had a problem like this before.
However, today I gave them BACK an item and stated "Forget about it, I will pay for the product I usually buy myself, and it's in my purchase history if you look" Too hard basket.
As I was going around the shop, customers are lured into buying 2 for $ or you pay FULL price for one.

Heres news COLES
EVERY PRODUCT SOLD IN AUSTRALIA MUST COMPLY WITH AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW.
That means every 15c bag should be covered under warranty for 12months or LONGER.
If you want to masquerade around pretending your saving the enviroment by profiteering in the sale of plastic bags, then you must HONOUR the Australian Consumer Laws and Rights.
Or make them free.
Stop giving out useless rubbish toys that end up in landfill and bring back the bags idiots.

No refund till now
So I buy an item on quicksale and they charge me full price. I only notice it when I am taking out the groceries at home and did a total cost count. Go and try to get it refunded. The staff says they can't refund directly and what they will do is give a refund of full price and then charge the quick sale item again. That refund hasn't shown up for hours and I got charged for the quicksale item again. WTH...when do I get my money back!!! They could have been decent people and not charged it again as I had to go through all the hassle but no...now I am out of even more money and don't know if I will even get that money from them. It doesn't even show any thing pending.

My children purchased a $100 voucher for Father’s Day accidentally put in garbage still had receipt and number of purchase store manager said can’t replace voucher so they keep money would be good if they gave it to charity not a great result

Glass found in bottle of Italian coles basil pesto

Dreadful Operation
Rude staff, poor COVID compliance, dreadful store fit-outs, call centre rubbish. Woolworths every time from now on. Coles are the Telstra of Supermarkets, Woolworths are the Optus. Yes. Product quality is poor and no cheaper than Woolworths. The only thing that is cheaper is their brand (from people to uniforms to store fit-outs, marketing. Just dreadful. I cannot believe so many people shop there. Mind you, I cannot believe Trump is President of the greatest economy and Military in the World so......

Very Unprofessional and Bad service
The employee lied to me and the store manager of Wentworth point refused to exchange and refund.
I bought a box of coffee capsule, when I got home I realized that it is wrong size and it doesn't fit to my coffee machine. So I went back to store customer service, the lady told me to leave the coffee box on counter and go in the store to grab something you want and she will help me to do the exchange. No human and consumer right
Coles refused to refund an overprice “Moccona” instant coffer when I realised Woolworths was selling at $5 cheaper in price, saying refund can only be done if the product was damaged and not when other supermarket selling for a cheaper price, all products are now under their new rules of “unprecedented circumstance law” created by their store, set up from 13 March 2020!!!
They don’t have a courtesy of price match even, they just simply deny customers/consumers right !!

No refund policy at Coles Surfers Paradise
I attempted to return a faulty item at Coles in Chevron Renaissance at Surfers Paradise and was told they have a no refund policy on items if you change your mind. I said it was faulty - not a change of mind. The attendant disagreed with me repeating I had changed my mind. She refused to give me a refund. One of the same two items was unopened. It was a disappointing experience as I walked away leaving the two useless items on the counter.

Beware “Modify” Online Orders
I placed an order on Tuesday and had up until Wednesday midday to modify for a Thursday delivery. It cost me an added $30.73 plus I lost a $10 coupon code. Total cost of order was $290.00 for two people. Prices change on Wednesday. I did add an extra item on Wednesday am. However modify changes the whole order not just the Wednesday new pricing. And I lost the coupe code which finished on Tuesday night. Apparently there is a warning in small print somewhere. Coles would not refund the added cost. Return Policy
Coles Supermarket has just canceled its 'Change of Mind' Return Policy quoting people returning products they overstocked because of the Covid19 panic buy. Coles is a hypocrite, claiming to help unemployment in this Covid19 crisis. It's just a business, not a good corporate citizen. In fact, it's not without hassles for customers to return products, and returns are only a small minority. Woolworth and Myers which retains their 30 days Return Policy or (ii) at least display a prominent 'No Return' notice at their entrances. Today 13 May, I received a reply from Cole's Customer Service quoting that 'No Return Policy' is printed on the Sales Docket (i.e. after sale), that there is a 'No Return Policy' display on the Service Desk (not on the shelves or entrance) and statement on its website which I believe any reasonable man would concur that these initiatives are no 'Fore-warnings' or 'genuine notices' of this change of policy.Similar opinion? Refuse to refund
They refused to refund ice cream after 2 min bought from self checkout . Poor service duty manager does not want to listen and keep saying sorry I can't do .I told them to check camera not even more than 2 min I was still at coles.

My husband purchased 2 bottles of Coles tomato paste made in China as I avoid any item of food from China I asked him to take it back and get the tomato paste made in Italy that I always buy it is about $1.30 more and he was told their policy is no returns . He was not asking for a credit just an exchange. This was at Charlestown.
