Qld-Mt Isa please order mungalli yoghart there hasn’t been any yoghart for the last 3-4 weeks. Please can you order!!
Of course its useful its where we buy all our food from. I do wish there was a larger variety of items for sale.
The cubed chicken today was just not to standard
I buy 1kg per week to make meals for work for my son. Today's cubed chicken was all gristly.. took me forever to cut out the gristle bits and so much was wasted. Will think twice before buying it again now. Poor quality coles.
Spend nearly $6000 to get 7 piece cookware set.
Is Coles current promotion for real? You get 1 flybuy credit for every $20 you spend. You can then redeem your points for 1 of their MasterChef cookware items after you've earned 40 points. So basically you have to spend $800 to get 1 piece of the cookware set. To get the entire 7 piece set you have to spend over $5,500. Tell me this a joke. You would have to be a fool to fall for this so called 'promotion'.
Shocking products and poor quality
Don’t shop at this supermarket. Their food quality is shocking, fruit and veg is often bruised, rots in the fridge.
Being Sent Flybuys No One Will Correct The Problem
Coles supposedly runs the Flybuys rewards program. Bases on the fact it makes question how well they run their supermarkets. I continue to miss out on hundreds of points because they will not print coupons for the card I use. I have complained to Flybuys and they won't do anything. I have complained to Coles who supposedly runs this program they have done nothing. That's why I shop at Woolies. I can earn rewards and they won't take a week to respond to my emails.

Fresh meat rippoff
Coles fresh meat prices for lamb and beef are a downright rippoff. $26 for 2 beef steaks is ridiculous. Somewhere along the line from farm to shelf we are being ripped off. It is cheaper to buy takeaway now which is a real shame in this country. It's all about profit profit profit, Coles even suck the blood out so it lasts longer on the shelf.
Bit sick of the poor farmers syndrome in this country. $26.00 for .637 grams of steak is ridiculous, if you can't make good money at these prices well I'll go he.
terrible customer service Coles Coolalinga NT
Served by Sheree tonight 16/04/21 and she was so unpleasant to say the least! She hurried along the lady in front of me and didn't speak to her the entire time. Then came my turn, didn't even greet me and had a sour face on the whole time then handed me the receipt to gesture that she was done, no bye either. Not to mention her stink attitude towards 2 of her fellow coworkers who were trying to ask her a question while I was waiting in line. She spoke right Through Me and At Them! Then she barked at the foreigners behind me to hurry up and put ...their items on the conveyor belt even though there really wasn't much point because there wasn't enough room with all of my groceries still taking up much of the space (they were being polite). I've always found the staff at Coles so hands on and friendly but this has put a bad taste in my mouth. Find a new job if you hate yours so much or just hire better people for the store front and keep the grinches out the back...retraining wouldn't go amiss.
The customer service was great. So so helpful. I would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone. It is rare to receive such attention to details.
Coles hot chicken with stuffing loved it

Tinned Red Salmon
I bought a large can of Coles Red Salmon ..The colour of the salmon was grey, mostly bones and skin and other strange bits I couldn't identity. It was dry and tasteless with the consistency of soggy cardboard... Absolutely disgusting

Don’t they care?
I’ve just come back from Coles and the lady behind the checkout was OBVIOUSLY SICK!
Although she was wearing a mask, every couple of minutes she took it off grabbed a tissue from a minuscule box of tissues and blew her nose then replaced the mask and continued to scan my items. When I got home I gave them all a good wash!
Don’t they care about their customers potentially catching COVID?
We will not buy our meat from coles as we have purchased their rolled roasts and butterflied legs of lamb , only to discover when opened that it is packaged in such a way as to hide all the fat which is up to a third of the weight in most cases .
Purchased only yesterday....with still 12 months before expiry date.
I nearly vomited when I opened it.
Fungal, rotten and smell.

Self-Serve Racial Profiling?
Did some quiet time shopping last Thursday night at local Coles. Nice and quiet as I noticed some other customers as we crossed over the isles. One couple with a kid I had seen were at the self check-out when I was there and there was a security guard lurking around the exist (makes you feel like a criminal-they don’t show this side of the experience in the funky ads on TV!). Anyway this guy security guy looked anxious as I finished up but it was the couple he was after. This family looked innocent enough to me and this security guard was not w...ired up so could he was not taking instructions from above and beyond in camera land (another aspect of shopping missing from the ads), but as soon as they set foot outside the corral, bang he was on right on them with the full search request. The only thing I could see different from the dozens of others who went out before them un-accosted was there race. If this is the riding instructions given to these security guards in terms of whom they target, then shame on you Coles and your hypocrisy. No hard evidence but things that make you go mmmmmm! If it wasn’t so quiet I may not have noticed myself but it’s worth keeping an eye open next time you are there. As Australians we need to stand up to and call out double standards and hypocrisy.
Not happy with the service
Im a regular customer and have no had too many issues with this company. need to hire better staff asap.
availability of product
I asked their customer service if they can add a product that is available at other Coles stores and got a very inadequate response, basically no attempt to look into it at all, the answer was No.
Coles Thin Grocery Bags & Closed Express Service
Coles at Kirrawee NSW. Went to bag some apples. Only now the bags on the roll are so thin it’s very hard to seperate the bag walls between your fingers to open the bag. So apples stay put unsold. Explain to Coles staff and they also have difficulty and explain it’s a recent change from Head Office. It’s a laugh, cheap out on the bags but frustrate the customer so no sale of groceries. Went to check out, Express Service lane 12 items or less is closed with a belt across aisle. Seen this before on my only previous visit. I ask staff to open, the...y do then close behind me. I ask why not open? They say they close when they are doing something else. Which apparently is something busy other than serving customers. By having a non open Express Service lane you instead have to go to a non Express Service lane or worse go to their own service lane with their frustrating scanning machines. Hint, stay here at Express Lane and request them to open the lane.
Walked into coles and got followed because I was private school. I put my bag down just like my other friend and walked in and did everything that they wanted. But when my mate didn’t have enough money, he put his items back in the exact place they belonged and got yelled at by a staff member for having no money and got followed by a worker in the store. Also private school kids get to keep there bags, very disappointed in the service.
Horrible bread falls apart
Bought sourdough from Coles for the first time and it was not good at all. It was sliced and was not cut properly , so as soon as I started to cut through it it just crumbled away and fell to pieces . Also couldn’t eat it coz the whole loaf had holes through it so just threw it away . Highly recommend Woolworths sourdough, it is amazing ! Don’t bother with Coles .
They would do better. May be I should become Coles manager
Well, i did not want to do it until today. There are some reasons I am quitting on Coles, not sure if my review matters t Coles Group, I guess not at all. I love people who are working at our store but I do not like everything else.
1. Today I tried to buy cooked rice and when I came in to the isle, there was stinky and when I tried to get rice it fell over on the floor and I saw a bunch of maggots crawling out of package of rice. EEEEWWWWW!
2. I tried to send them message about their stock. Unhealthy packages with chips, soft drinks, sugary s...tuff omg! We would love more healthy food but it looks like Coles trying to kill us. Well, I am changing for Haris Farm and Wollies. 3. Pet food. I know Australians hate cats, but it doesn't mean everyone do. I love cats and I have 4 of them. We saved those from dying. Anyway, in our local Coles there is no cat's food. Everything that i can see is Crave, my cats do not even smell it. Coles wold benefit more if they would bring in store premium pet food. Well. There are more aspects but I thing those ones are needs to be changed. Coles is not the best to by food, apples are dry, oranges are getting mouldy as soon as they reach my house. Not acceptable. Tried to contact Coles, never got reply.
Given wrong product but no return
I asked for a carton of JPS Gold for my mother in law at the counter. The courteous Coles staff member handed me the carton
Unknown to me she gave JPS Menthol. I rang the store the next day upon discovering this and told that no exchange is allowed.
Still in original wrapping and risk is zero for contamination. $239 waste of money so who is at fault?
I used to spend a minimum of $100 +per week but that will be zero after this lack of service or even compassion
Every Monday I do a small shop at Coles since we have to go through the Center on the way to my children’s piano lessons. Walking past the bananas my 2 year old asks to have one (since she’s used to the free fresh fruit for children at Woolworths). The man who was restocking the bananas told me Coles doesn’t do fresh fruit for kids any more but that I’m more than welcome to take a banana for the kids. How lovely! I told him he made her day since she was jumping up and down with joy, and my 6year old was hungry too after school and then piano le...ssons. Anyways, at the check out the lady looked at my children with disgust and asked me if I knew that I had to pay for the bananas before I gave them to my kids. I said sure do, but the lovely man told me I could take them for the kids and she barked at me that Coles doesn’t do free fruit for kids. I told her she could double check with him since she looked at me like I was stealing from her but she continued to look at my in disgust and scanned my groceries shaking her head. When we left the shop my daughter started crying because the woman had looked at her in such a bad way and she felt she did something wrong. Typical Coles I feel. And to the lovely banana-man: you should be working at Woolworths.
Questions & Answers
My husband purchased 2 bottles of Coles tomato paste made in China as I avoid any item of food from China I asked him to take it back and get the tomato paste made in Italy that I always buy it is about $1.30 more and he was told their policy is no returns . He was not asking for a credit just an exchange. This was at Charlestown.
The products for Hong Long Dim Sum Kitchen has never been replenished after 10am during the promotion period. Should not share this in the catalogue since it is always out of stock.
