Be extremely careful before you buy anything everyone, Coles supermarket has unreasonably strict "NO REFUND" policy.
Be extremely careful before you buy anything everyone Coles supermarket has strict "NO REFUND" policy, I've bought a Tom's of maine toothpaste with $12 on 6 Nov 2020 from Yokine Coles (post code 6060). When I checked the price on that evening on Amazon they were selling only $6 (50%off) then I bought 5 from Amazon. When I asked the store on 8 Nov, one of the staff said they can't refund since March 2020 policy. The policy stated if change of mind or buying too many in bulk, they can't refund. My scenario is excluded. I did ask if they can't ref...und, to match the price she said they can't do it. Their another excuse is to control covid spread. Currently the whole Australia is covid free for over week. Coles is hesitate to change the store policy and ripping customers off with high price. People who trapped and bought the price with higher price will have no chance of returning. I am forwarding Cole's unreasonable policy to the ACCC.
There is a reason they call sliced bread the best invention
I have had many of these experiences with their $6.00 sourdough baked bread. It is rarely sliced all the way through. small problem yes, and usually I can break the slices apart with my fingers through the packet. Today I had to remove the loaf, get a bread knife and slice my way through ¾ of the pack, top and bottom. Not good enough Coles.

Rude and unhelpful
Due to ill health, I had items to return (from incorrect deliveries) from the past three months. The staff member (and manager) were appalling. I’ve shopped at Coles for over forty years, and if I have an experience like this again, I’ll be done with them. I had receipts, and was more than fair in returning wrong products we won’t use, and a faulty item. I hate to think how much we write-off in their stuff-ups!!! The girl said “so all that is wrong with it, is it won’t work”. What?!? That is a problem, if an item is not fit for purpose!!...! It all took so long and with so much drama, that I had time to google their policy. The girl then said, “but that is not our store’s policy”. I’m sorry, surely Coles Supermarkets are Coles Supermarkets!?!
misleading and online team members very rude, bad English and couldn't even help
at home after surgery i foolishly thought i would try home delivery free for the first time
after putting in my address and choosing home delivery i was asked at checkout to spend more than $50 so i did. the confirmation then told me i had to collect.
i then called coles online and got an indian guy who was rude , kept talking over me and did nothing to help
i will plead with my 37000 followers to not use coles as they cannot be trusted
Customer service has really gone down!
I have been a loyal customer since 1998 and over the years have been very pleased with products and service. I feel companies can only improve and reassure customers if given feedback.
A recent Click&Collect order that was really unsatisfactory was responded to very poorly with no reply at all on my second communication!
I had an initial phone call from a Customer Service agent, who confirmed would refund cost of the few items that were shrivelled or missing (garlic and red onion). They also said they would feedback to the store about the...trolley being left at end of car by staff member who walked off before I was even out of the car. However when I messaged again about the chicken breast pack (that I went to cook 2 days later) and found out of date (had to be consumed within 24 hours of the order being provided) I have since received no response. No freshness like Coles freshness! Will not bother to pursue this any further (obviously Coles are not interested in keeping loyal customers) but will take custom to Woolworths and Aldi from now on. Very unhappy customer!
Didn’t they make enough money in COVID they raised all the prices on all staples but that was not enough to make them a tidy profit 3 star mince went from $9 in February to today $11.50 it’s gone up another 50cents let me guess the cows have COVID right
Not customer user friendly
It appears now, just about every time I aim to bring an issue to their attention "Our policy and procedures with online orders outline" + OHS matters, despite my honesty in returning an item.
Never had a problem like this before.
However, today I gave them BACK an item and stated "Forget about it, I will pay for the product I usually buy myself, and it's in my purchase history if you look" Too hard basket.
As I was going around the shop, customers are lured into buying 2 for $ or you pay FULL price for one.
Cannot find items anymore, the Del...
I am not impressed with Coles.
I find that my local Coles at Morisset is often without products I want. Last week it was Coles chocolate bavarian. They seem to have cancelled Liddells skim milk altogether. I find it better to shop at Woolworths where the products I want are always there and anyway Woolworths chocolate bavarian tastes richer.
absolutely horrible wouldn't bother ever going back
we asked store employees where to go to get our milk and they said they didn't know and were not helpful at all. not only was the staff a joke but the self serve machines weren't working either
Get charged twice for online orders different amounts - call to enquire and be told to wait 10 days
Decided to collect from Clayton DO NOT SHOP milk was 2 days before expiry. They hold the initial amount, the day after collecting I was charged the correct amount minus the out of stock items. When I called to question why the initial amount was still deducted she told me to wait 10 days to see if it is returned?? The stress and time consuming situation to try get your rightful money back is not worth it! Never shopping online again
Dont bother using their home delivery, it is absurd
I ordered my home delivery four days before going into quarantine. In that order was standard cuts of steak. There are no steak shortages in Tasmania. They packed my order and closed it off so I couldnt cancel it before they notified me that I wouldnt be getting the steak. They are now refusing to pack it and deliver it even though they clearly stock it. Apparently them providing theoretical feedback to a department is meant to feed me.
I liked good prices
More client attention, it’s a good brand that has everything that you need
But in some cases the attention from the coles employers are not the best, they looks like doesn’t want to being a good service
New McCrae Coles is great
The new fit out of Coles in McCrae is great, much more selection of fresh products & a fresh new look too.
Great selection of fruits, Vegetables, salads, nuts & cheeses. Bigger organic range too.
My local Coles is absolutely top! The staff at willowdale Coles are amazing. The store is always clean, stock are ways stocked up, if you need anything there are always staff around to assist you. Thank you to the staff at willowdale Coles. Keep up the great work!

Questions & Answers
My husband purchased 2 bottles of Coles tomato paste made in China as I avoid any item of food from China I asked him to take it back and get the tomato paste made in Italy that I always buy it is about $1.30 more and he was told their policy is no returns . He was not asking for a credit just an exchange. This was at Charlestown.
Which coles brand icecream are vegetarian as well as alcohol free
The products for Hong Long Dim Sum Kitchen has never been replenished after 10am during the promotion period. Should not share this in the catalogue since it is always out of stock.
