Great until you make a mistake - then unable to help :(
I accidentally ordered too many of an item with my awards points. This was on the weekend - outside of business hours, so I couldn’t call to rectify this. Called the next business day - I was very politely informed that it was too late; sorry, already processed and nothing they could do. Very disappointing. I made a mistake, but there was no avenue to rectify it. A very unforgiving system.

Inability to communicate or deliver. 'Escalation process' is a joke
I made a mistake and ordered the wrong colour... So i tried to cancel the order, which you can't online. This is the first thing that is very poor about CBA awards program.
Called to cancel. I was told yes its cancelled. So I ordered the right colour item on the 10th.
Next day the first wrong coloured item was delivered. So now it needs to be returned.
Call up, how do I return an item? I was given 4 different avenues all contradictory and none based in any real world. So I still have the product I don't want... and 12 days past there delivery...
Low minimum credit limit
Good entry level card. The low minimum credit limit of $500 makes it accessible for those times when you need an actual credit not debit card for hotel stays etc. Not really any other benefits of this particular card to mention.
Does the job
The great thing about the CommBank awards card is the convenience in online mobile banking. The awards themselves arnt that interesting for the amount you have to spent to redeem them.
Functional and straightforward
I have been using the CBA card since 2013. It's quick in transferring money to this credit card and the customer service is impeccable. but I'm not too happy with the annual fee.
I have been using the CBA card for the 4 years. The customer services is good but I don’t like annual fee. Also CBA used to give for Amex 2 points for $1 spent but they get rid of it.
Absolutely rubbish now days!! There is nothing worthwhile having. You can’t even get a TV. Used to be a great system.
There just ain’t anything with spending your points on.
I used to live comm bank rewards and looked forward to shopping with my points. No it’s not worth it.
Seems like no one is trying anymore.
It’s going to cost them a lot of customers.
No issue with the card itself. Easy to transfer and check balance. CommBank always update their software and banking apps so it is secure and ready to go. More rewards would be good.
Have been with bank for years
Don’t use much mainly for online purchases and hotel bookings .Doesnt earn any points but have all my a/cs with this bank so find it easier to have it there
expensive to operate
What can I say, double the interest rates of my Westpac card, gives rewards so that is good, but definitely the bottom of the pack when you consider other offerings. Looking towards getting rid of it when I change my home loan over (in progress). If you can't pay it off in full when it becomes due please think again and look at what else might be available to you.

USELESS CBA credit card Purchase Security Insurance!
I have my CBA Gold Master Card for more than 15 years. Always paying for the annual fees and never entitled for any benefit.

Commonwealth Awards - Village gift cards
Just purchased a book of 6 village gift cards for my son for Christmas and they only last 6 months. Just crap, I would have thought to have an expiration date of at the very least 1 years worth. When I called them about it, they just didn’t care, nothing they could do about it.
Hotline 132221 - impossible to get through
On all occasions, been on hold for 20 minutes or more. Hang up in vain! and to top it off, online inquiry send me off to their phone hotline.

please be carful with commbank credit cards showed me different due date and minumum payment amount and the charged me 3 late payment fee.Rang to customer care to get refund and said they can only do one refund because of system .

CBA Matercard Diamond Awards fails basic levels of customer service and communication
Ordered an awards fuel card with Mastercard points - website says allow up to 10 business days. After 12 business days it hasn't arrived and so I call, go through menu system, wait on hold and am then told that an investigation can only be launched after 15 business days - no sensible answer to my question as to why this is not on the website.
After 18 business days, call back, phone menu on hold, to be told that an investigation will now be started and I'll receive a phone call midweek. No phone call by the end of the week, so I call back -...
