Have had a very good experience when I contacted Community First for a Green loan for a new Solar system install. Richard N was the super friendly representative that I dealt with and he made the whole process quick and easy. He was very thorough and his communication was professional, timely and efficient. I have a had a very positive experience with the Community First Bank in Warriewood.
I definitely appreciate that there is a walk in branch ( Warriewood), for a face to face meeting regarding banking matters. The customer service was excellent.

Terrible experience!

Had a loan for over 2 years not a single cent got paid off over this period always paid extra each payment. Had credit in my account when i went to pay off my loan and never got it paid out or taken off of the loan!

They were unprofessional when speaking on the phone and was very rude, started arguing with me about the loan in an unprofessional manner. Forced me to hang up because of how rude they were!

100% DO NOT recommend going through Community First for any type of loan!

What I like when you phone the bank to speak with someone is the call I'm making is answered within a very short space of time. All my questions are answered professionally and courteously. The only thing I would like to see is a breakdown of the fees on the credit card on the monthly statement. Show details

What account do I need???????

I wanted to open a new account and was not sure which one would suit me the best. Being old school looking on the internet did not give me much idea which would be the best. So I called and withing about 10 minutes my account was up and ready to be used. It was so easy.

Complete incompetence. No communication for money being stolen from my account. Customer service was helpful but had no idea what had happened. I have a son in-law who is a manager of a very reputable bank and he has said... it is Disgusting and I need to close my account. And I will.

Things have gone from bad to worse

I have been a member for more than 10 years. Initially everything was great but since 2018 service has been terrible .
Most recent experiences include.
- Fees for new cards when they have to be cancelled due to fraud.
- Having to call a third party to report fraud.
- Old school methods to attempt in retrieving funds that have been stolen from your account that have not changed in the past 6 years. This was also experienced in 2018.
When I explained to a customer service operator today in regard to frustration over the methods- I was told “ maybe community first is not for you “. I’m not one to write reviews but I think the operator maybe correct , who also agreed “you get what you pay for”! Budget service for a budget bank.
