Promised a discount when signing up on first years Premium - never applied it. Contacted Insurance company and they said it was for Compare the Market to apply, contacted Compare the Market and they said it was already applied. The way the discount is advertised is dodgy - it makes you think the discount is yet to come off the advertised price. In the end, Compare the Market didnt save me money, it cost me money as I wouldnt have gone for the Policy I did. Clever business-wise though - must be why they have such a large TV advertising budget.....
Great customer service, can't do without it!
Jarrod from CTM was extremely helpful in providing my wife and I with a Health Insurance package that was tailored to our needs. He guided me through the nitty-gritty of Hospital cover and Extras professionally and seemed to have an expert grasp of all packages on offer. A most proficient employee of CTM.
Wasted 10 minutes filling out the details to be told we can't find anyone applicable to your needs! So accordingly I will not be using this service in the future I'll do it myself
They do not include all the options
I provided information about my requirements for home and contents insurance and only a handful of options are displayed - my other searches show more, and in my opinion, better options.

I received calls from compare the market even though I never actually used the service. They tried to piggy back in as I looked at a car insurance quote from budget direct. Are Compare the market affiliated with Budget ? Or are they just muscling in so they get a commission by pushing their preferred provider?
If I want to use Compare the market I will but I won't be cold called by any provider.
Good service except for two poor instances
1. The compare & transfer of priveate health insurance wasn't very satisfactory. The onus on me to obtain correct transfer certificates wasn't made known to me. Also the no waiting period was applicable to joining only, not cmaking claims, which also was something I wasn't aware of.
2. Not offering a telephone service over the telephone for comparing house & contents insurance was a surprise and I was told to use your website. That was practically useless, as I have no knowledge of how to estimate the re-building cost of my home, nor how to estimate re-purchase price of contents, the website offered nohelp and not being able to ring for guidance was frustrating.
I found the site easy to use and it really helped me wade through the cluttered market of offers quickly and simply to make a decision. Thank you very much
Health cover review
Great knowledge and patience. Explained the products very well. Did not switch as the cover I have still suits me. She was just happy to be of service. Will use again in relation to insurance.

I was looking for a car insurer, all I got was a 'comparison ' between three insurers out of a possible dozens or so. Two quotes were the same and 10% higher then my current quote, one was about 35% higher, none of the mainstream insurers were mentioned.
My sales person was very professional and understanding - not forceful at all (( which is not the norm )
Would recommend your service to all who need a good comparision done.
Relieved finally got health insurance
My consultant was very helpful friendly and explained everything to me there was no terms I didn't understand she was amazing and we spoke for over an hour getting all my cover right.
Fantastic assistance in finding the best cover
Ben phoned us after we had done a comparison online. I hate talking to sales people but he was very knowledgeable, easy to talk to and made the whole process easy and somehow made it quite an enjoyable conversation.
Great customer service
Spoke to Gabe on the phone for about half an hour regarding my health insurance. He's friendly, helpful and knowledgeable as he has helped an undecided customer like me to pick exactly what type of insurance I want. All in all, he provided great customer service and I really think he sets the example of what a great customer service should be in Australia.
Simple way to save money!
I was looking for a cheaper electricity provider. The consultant was courteous, efficient and professional, but never pushy! I provided details from my current electricity bills and Compare the Market came up with a reputable electricity provider with much lower kWh tariffs. I should save about $400 per year. The new provider sent through my new account details within 24 hours after my conversation with Compare the Market.
Saved thousands changing private health insurance
Quick, efficient and they do ALL the work. Makes moving to a better value health insurance company a piece of cake. Will literally be saving $1000s in lower premiums and higher dental and optical payouts!
Compare the power bill
I contacted compare the market as I was after a better deal. After a heap of questions they wanted me to sign up with a provider that was dearer than the one I was already with. They are very pushed. I decided I would use the Vic government corporation site and found a very good deal with a new provider
Easy and Quick
Found the website easy to use and could quickly see what deal was the best for us. Customer Service new exactly what deal we were referring to and went about upgrading our plan as we were staying with the same company. It did take a bit of time to process but we are happy with the results as the company itself were unable to match this deal as they didn't have it on their system.
Friendly and efficient
The young man was polite, informative and non-pushy. I felt as though he had my needs 1st and foremost. Took the time to inform me of everything and answer my many questions.

I spoke with a consultant and she said everything was going to be organised for me... I had a call from the extras cover people but nothing from my hospital cover company

please could I get a comparison between an Epson EB-S41 SVGA 3LCD Portable Corporate Multimedia Projector and a mini Home Theatre HD Multimedia LCD Projector
Ive been told the mini Home Theatre model has 7000 lumens which I can't believe as the brightness quality is very poor especially for a power point presentation which is the primary reason I purchased this model. I personally have a feeling Ive been duped and the Epson would have been a better purchase.....

I like the 2 level cooking and have to replace my 20 yr old Sharp Carosell convection/grill and are TOTALLY confused as to what best to buy.
