Not responded to sales enquiries
I was hopeful and prepared to buy from them, but I made 2 simple enquiries via their website and neither got any response, so I won't be using them. I can't trust a supplier to respond to any delivery or service issues if they won't even respond to sales enquiries...
Spend money somewhere else
When you get a problem and contact them, your forever taken around in circles. They take months to reply despite your escalations. I recommend you save yourself the trouble and shop else where. Customer service and claims are horrible. Received a damaged package and no one is taking ownership. They saying Contact the courier and you do. For the courier, to then say the company doesn’t have Insuarance on the goods.
We ordered a microwave, come with cord chopped off does not sit straight.
The entire product is a rip off & would not Recommend buying from this company. There is no number to come text them email only.
Beware! You will not be given a refund if product is faulty
I purchased a SMEG oven from ComplexKitchen. The oven was installed by an electrician. The first time I tried using my oven, I realised the oven didn't heat up. The elements don't work. I can't use any function of the oven. It is completely useless. I have discovered through SMEG that the oven sold to me was an unapproved model and does not conform to Australian Standards. I advised the retailer of this fact and they asked me to make enquiries with a repairer to fix the oven (They assumed that it could be fixed). I advised the retailer that it ...was their responsibility to arrange someone to come out and look at the oven to see what the problem is, at which point they advised that they are located in Hungary, not Australia (Even though they give the impression that they are based in Australia as they have an Australian website). I made a couple of inquiries with oven repairers regarding my oven and they advised that they wouldn't even bother to come out to see what the issue with oven is as they can't locate any spare parts for the model type and thus wouldn't be able to fix it anyway. I am now stuck with an oven that doesn't work and out of pocket for the cost of the oven and cost of installation. I have requested a refund from the retailer, however they continue to ignore my requests. Buy at your own risk!!
Cannot recommend Complex Kitchens
After researching on-line and reading positive reviews, we decided to order our TWO Miele ovens from Complex Kitchens with an expected saving of AUD $800 compared to buying them locally. We placed AND PAID for the order on 08/08/2020. Today is the 25/09/2020 and we still don’t have our ovens. To start with, there is a 3% additional charge for using a credit card for the purchase which is NOT mentioned until the end of the checkout process. Then there is the significant overseas transaction fee charged by your credit card provider. The prod...uct was out of stock for about a month at Complex Kitchens and there was no communication from them about this. Finally when the shipment was sent, the ovens were shipped about 2 weeks apart. Again no explanation or communication from Complex Kitchens. Once the shipment has arrived in the country of delivery, Complex Kitchens washes it hands of the whole transaction and leaves the customer with the responsibly of chasing up their delivery with the contracted freight carrier. In our case this is FedEx, which is it’s own nightmare to deal with. We emailed Complex Kitchens twice to find out when the stock would be available and again when the delivery tracking stalled, at no time did they initiate any communication or offer any action. Also be wary about the warranty, there is a very short deadline to lodge any warranty claims, again this is not mentioned until after you’ve made a purchase. We cannot comment on the products themselves as we haven’t received them. From what we can tell, one oven is at the delivery carrier’s depot, the other one has disappeared from their tracking system. Overall a very stressful, disappointing, unpleasant and inconvenient experience with Complex Kitchens. I cannot recommend using them. No amount of savings is worth the anxiety and stress involved in what should be an exciting and anticipated purchase.
Grey Imports - Not Australian Company - Watch out for PayPal extra Charge - Read Terms and Conditions
Purchased Bosch Induction Hob online and only payment option was PayPal. Was horrified when I saw the 5% charge on the invoice. I should have checked before hitting the pay button but have never seen on the many purchases I have made on line. Brought this to their attention and asked for cancellation and I'd pay via direct deposit. Was advised that the PayPal charge could not be refunded. I queried this and was advised that my browser (Chrome and Up to date) had shown their website wrong. Eventually they cancelled order out of spite and said it...em was now out of stock. I checked and it was still on offer but the price had increased! Money was refunded in full showing them to be the dishonest operators they are. I'll be contacting Australian consumer bodies to voice my concerns. If you buy from them and there's an issue you may wish you'd paid a bit more and supported Aussie businesses during these tough times. I thought they were Aussie myself because of the .au website address.
Very disappointed with product & poor company response. Ordered based on advertised 60cm external microwave dimensions, expecting a normal sized microwave oven. Horrified to discover whilst it looks normal size on outside, it has a tiny internal cavity. No internal dimensions or pictures of open microwave were provided on website. When I contacted ComplexKitchen they refused to exchange or return product. Also fine print on product delivery instructions says manufacturer does not warranty product, but this is not stated on website information available prior to purchase. Very deceptive. Buyers beware!
Sells products that are out of stock then gives you the run around
I purchased an AEG Induction Cooktop (IKE84441XB) from ComplexKitchen on 29 April. I purchased AEG because the rest of my kitchen is AEG, and I purchased this model because it has one very large element, rather than all 4 being the same size.
Shortly after I purchased it, I was emailed by CK and advised it is out of stock. Why is it listed as 'availability: 7-14 days'? He offered an 'upgrade' to the new model at no extra charge, but the model he offered didn't have a single large element, so I refused and asked about what could be done to the ...price of similar cooktops from other brands (eg NEFF) that have a single large element. CK got back to me and advised they found the model I purchased, but in display stock. Or, they could dispatch a new one to me by the 22nd of May. I chose the latter option, and 22 May passed without update from CK. I emailed him and he advised it will be sent by 'next Tuesday', being 26 May. That day passed, and no shipping notification was received. I'm now leaving this review because I feel I've been taken for a fool - fool me twice, shame on me. The run around isn't worth it! We based our kitchen around this induction - new cabling installed, a rangehood for an 80cm induction (a rare size to purchase in Australia) and now, only a few days before our kitchen is due to be installed, ComplexKitchen hasn't even shipped. All I get in emails from CK is 'unfortunately this' and 'unfortunately that'. No apology. I'm livid and strongly advise against trying to save a buck with these guys.
Be aware: all good ... until it's not
I have had to update my earlier review (below) from a 5 star now down to a 1 star based on a second order from CompleX Kitchen which has been a very different, very disappointing experience. Despite thorough packaging, when I uncrated and unboxed my built-in coffee machine, the front glass control panel was smashed into multiple small pieces. It was hard to see how this could have happened given the thoroughness of packaging. Nevertheless, it was damaged and unusable. On contacting CompleX Kitchen, they stated they took no respon...
I was expecting a white stove from the description off the website but it was more of a light blue , and obviously did not match my white cabinets and backsplash tiles. Was too much of a hassle to return so we made do but I was very much disappointed in the color . I haven't tried cooking on it . However , the shipping was very quick and item was extremely well packed. I also emailed complex kitchen about FedEx details and they were quick in replying.
Don't be fooled by the "4.7 stars" rating! FAULTY PRODUCTS + FAULTY REPLACEMENTS
I've previously written a review for a Miele stove that I purchased through Complex Kitchen. You can easily find it under the 1 star reviews.
Our induction stove malfunctioned under warranty which Complex Kitchen refused to replace, although after I wrote a negative review of their services and product they agreed to replace the stove. They refused to reimburse our expenses though which is part of their warranty and guarantees.
Lo and behold the replacement stove is also faulty and they are now ignoring all correspondence regarding the warran...ty (which still has about 9 months to go out of a new 1 year warranty). There is also the issue of the products being incorrectly described on the website. The product is advertised as new and unopened however the products are delivered with the serial number removed / scratched off the serial number plate. The products could be stolen for I know. Complex Kitchen do not deny this - they try to present it as some sort of helpful additional feature. I would completely avoid this sham - too late for me though!
Paid for a product and didn't receive any tracking. 14 days later I asked why there was no delivery they said Miele was " on holidays " and the product had not even been sent. Sent several emails and there was a slow response. Had to go through Paypal to get a refund which thankfully I received. The communication was terrible. I'm not taking that risk again.
Is there a warranty rip off?
I see that Complex Kitchen is offering to sell extended warranty for an AEG BKP556320M wall oven.
AEG provides a 5 year manufacturer's warranty.
Is Complex Kitchen ripping people off for something they don't need to purchase?
Be careful. Not to Aussie standards
Received an AEG oven with a broken door & remains broken 11 weeks onwards. When reviewing if your comments are negative it will shut down so only positive comments are read by potential customers
Delivered a broken product and has not returned to fix the issue.
Have been waiting over 6 weeks.
Do not recommend.
Refusing to take responsibility and not responding to numerous emails and phone calls regarding the matter.
Questions & Answers
Hi there, I contacted firstname.lastname@example.org twice since last week and haven't received any response re order 7913. The only email received was an order confirmation a month ago. Created an account but could not find the order!
First time purchase, credit card got rejected from CBA as they suspected fraud.
Looking through the questions here many people say they always respond within 24hrs...why would they keep ignoring mine??
I am sorry about the late reply. We were waiting for a response from Miele hence the delay, we will get back to you via email with further details.

Hi Complex Kitchen
I've been in contact with Adam about order placed weeks ago. Number is 7878
the order was originally placed by my builder Young Jun Na.
and I am his client.
The order has never arrived and I've contacted Fedex about the products where abouts which they could not find.
Hence they have contacted me in regards to this being lost and misplaced by Fedex Team.
I will need a replacement shipping ASAP could you please send me an email in regards to this?
I've written number of times to ask for an update but there has been None since last Friday
Please let me know when this will be sent over again.
Hi, i had no problems regarding the order i placed and the delivery. the items that were in stock came in about 10 days ,all items were delivered with in the month. Perhaps its an issue with Fedex having delivery problems due to covid.
Thanks, Barbara for your kind reply
FedEx has marked this as DELIVERED when this clearly hasn't shown up on our doorstep which is the problem :-).
And they have agreed with me that they have lost the parcel and basically misplaced the parcel as I have said above.
Please read the above again to clarify.
The Team in the CompleX kitchen is responsive but it is just that in the past few days there haven't been many updates which I am being little worried about. Also, this delayed our construction process significantly which we had to pay for any delays.
Hence I am trying to chase this as fast as I can
Hi, I had no problems with the delivery from Complex Kitchens, in fact it was delivered earlier than what they initially advised. Sorry to hear of your problems-hope you get a satisfactory resolution soon. Cheers guy
Do you have to pay with PayPal , which would charge an $80 fee on the oven I would like to buy? I can't see another payment option.
So is PayPal the only payment option? To answer my own question there are other payment options including bank transfer which doesn't cost:)
We have paypal, credit card and EFT options. Please send us an email so we can investigate why you cannot see all options.
