Dodgy refund policy
Had bought the wrong monitor unknowingly and tried to return and exchange for the correct one. Was charged 10% for the 'pleasure' of returning the item, even though the monitor I wanted to buy was $30 more expensive! They complained that the box had been opened. In that case, how would I know it was the incorrect monitor without opening it? I had reboxed it exactly the way it was and hadn't even connected the monitor to my computer. The staff extremely rude and was initially told that the manager was too busy to attend to my query. I am disgusted. I have been a loyal customer over the last few years and had recommended them to others. No more!

Mixed bag. some great staff and some total arrogant fools
Was told by the manager the fact I was disabled was irrelevant. despite all my business being through the national disability insurance scheme. very very rude and uncaring. all about the dollar these cowboys. there are cheaper and better run shops in Brisbane. sales manager a know it all that overstepped the mark. general manager I'm still pondering.

Price gouging
This store is charging at minimum $200 more than any other retailer for the new graphic's cards.
PC Case Gear is selling the cards at the recommended retail price and Mwave is doing a raffle for the FE, take your money elsewhere.

Worst experience ever
Never had a problem until something went wrong. I work in IT support and have done for the last 10 years. I ran all checks and provided the store with the links where AMD admitted to the issue with no resolution as of yet for the 5700 GPU and advised the store that the card would show no faults this is a software/driver issue on AMDs side.
I wanted to check the process as I handed the card in to be tested even though as I had told them the card was functioning and would show no fault if tested, so I called up to be spoken to in an abrupt and v...Read more

No respect for customers, happy to take your money but refusing to resolve after sale problems
I was loyal customer for more than 12 years and had few issues in the past with warranty claims but today they refused to replace my Corsair headset with faulty design which is causing pain and discomfort, there are some hard bumps inside earphones pressing against my ear. Have you ever seen any headset with bumps inside the earphones? After speaking with them over the phone, they told me to bring the hadset to the store for inspection. Computer Alliance technician told me that the faulty design is not a valid reason for returning the headset ...Read more
and there is also no option to upgrade to more expensive one. I also told them that they should contact the manufacturer and explain what is wrong with the headset and if they think that my complain is not valid I will accept that without any problems. They simply refused to help me out. I am done shopping at Computer Alliance. There are many other computer stores with lower prices and much better handling of warranty claims.Similar opinion? Cheating and Lier
I bought a Dell USB C D6000 docking station. The item comes with a USB C cable with USB C to USB A adapter. The specification claims this item supports three 4k monitors simultaneously. Actually, it only suppors two monitors when use USB A. No where say two monitors only when use USB C to A adapter, even in DELL official website. I returned the item next day and the guy promised to give full refund. However, I found they lied when I checked my bank account a few days late.

Service desk and support for DoA monitor
3 trips to and from the store for the monitor I purchased.
1st trip 20/5/2020 pick up monitor I purchased - found issue with monitor Dead on Arrival (DOA)
2nd trip 21/5/2020 for their CA techs to assess
3rd trip 25/5/2020 CA techs were able to replicate issue and I requested replacement, picked up monitor and returned home to find the same issue.
I contacted service support - they said it was a new monitor and it was for me to return and get a refund..
Each trip to and from is 40 minutes, takes me away from my job, takes my time and petrol. also mentally drains.. ...Read more
They offered a refund and an Australian Post barcode for me to print and return the monitor..Similar opinion? Write a review on ProductReview.com.au!

Lackluster Service
Customer service is bad, people are left waiting for no reason.
Every product has warranty and they claim that THIS particular product that I want to return has no warranty.
Ordered to have my PC air sprayed to clean, it was not clean.
I don't know why they have good reviews, my experience was terrible.

Beyond rubbish
Hi guys,
This store is a black-hearted store. The sales prima facie looked very enthusiastic to customers. The thing is they earn you money with extra profit and an extremely bad attitude after you pay a deposit. As my experience, after I pay 300 deposit for my computer build-up, I am totally lost and ripped off. Josh and Britt as two very bad salespeople did that making me paying an extra 270 dollars extra with a very very very bad attitude. My total building up cost is 4200, which should be 270 less. I will NEVER come to this rubbish store in future

Item sent was not as described.
A DVD/Blu-Ray burner was advertised as USB 3. The item received was USB 2. An employee tried to tell me it was USB 3, but the Manufacturer (LG) confirmed it was USB 2. He made up a fanciful story in an attempt to convince me to keep it. It had a USB 2 cable to the PC and NO USB 3 cable. He tried to get me to accept his tale by saying the USB 2 cable which was supplied was in case the PC it was to be used on, had only USB 2 technology. Utter rubbish ... in fact a deliberate lie!
Another employee then tried to convince me to keep the item,...Read more
saying that the USB 3 item was no better than USB 2 for my useage. I had to get forceful with him to convince him I wanted what was advertised, not what he wanted me to keep. I had to write an assertive email to him to accept that they were wrong and I was right ... so I insisted on a full refund. No apology was forthcoming for the wrong item being sent, or for them wanting to convince me to keep the item.Similar opinion? Write a review on ProductReview.com.au!

Great product, BAD online customer service
Recently bought a computer a couple of days ago, which is awesome. However, had to call twice in regards to my order.
The first time I called, I was speaking to a guy going by Chris’, very rude, no form of greetings, so brushed it off thinking, he had a bad day. Had answered all my questions but only by me forcing him, as he tried to end the call quickly.
The second was the worst, I didn’t catch his name because I was taken completely back from how he was talking to me, beyond rude, condescending...talking down/slowing his words as if talkin...Read more

Someone has to train these guys how to talk and speak in a civil manner...maybe give them tutorial lessons and activity to meet this. I have seen 16 year olds with better customer service.Similar opinion? Write a review on ProductReview.com.au!

Delay after delay...
Before I placed the order I was told it would be sent out within 5 days. 3 minutes later after I completed the purchase, the email confirmation said 2 weeks. I asked about it and was told that they're behind because of COVID19 and the guy on the phone made a mistake. Fair enough. People make mistakes and I can be patient and wait. They did offer me a free item after I ordered, lets see if they actually remember to put it in there.
Now here it is, 2 weeks later and it's still not ready. Going to be at least a few more days. And at least ...Read more
a week and a half for shipping.... Australia Post delivers things quicker. They take a week *maximum* but usually 3 or 4 days (and yes, that is during the pandemic. I've ordered quite a few things and they all arrived pretty quickly). This courier is going to take 50% more time *minimum* than AusPost's maximum time for delivery?? That's pathetic. Having said that, I ordered something from them a week before and it came quickly (though I did pay extra for express shipping and it came via AusPost, not whatever courier they use.) But the part I ordered is useless without a computer to put it in. And there was no option for express delivery this time. $75 for shipping should already *be* express, but whatever. Then, to top it all off, they send me an email with a link to this site and ask me for a review. Funny. Maybe send an email telling me my order has been delayed instead of one asking for a review for something I won't even get for *another* two weeks.Similar opinion? When a courier service turns out to be Australia Post.
The store was 30 mins away because we were self isolating and the site stated delivery was by a courier service I chose that option. The courier was Australia Post nowhere on their site does it mention delivery is by Australia Post. Had I of known this I would of either gone to the store or purchased elsewhere. They charged me a service charge for using PayPal which I have been informed by Paypal this is an unacceptable practice.
Would I purchase from this store again NO!.

Poor work values
I recently spent $1200 on new computer hardware and their staff didn't think it was important to tell me that there was a store sale the next day. I hadn't even installed any of the components yet and they refused to let me return it just so I could get the sale benefits. Funnily enough I was going to spend the money I saved on other parts too but oh well they lost a life long customer.

Sent product only less than 1/2 the cable
Sent power supply rm1000i with only half the modular cable, fail to mention anything on the posting, because of this one if my 1TB ssd fried, asking for review after purchase but when I complaint they just ignore it. Stay away or just hope all your purchase are OK, since basically there is no support after you purchase anything from them.

Monitor via redemption? the whole process is actually ridiculous, how do you review a product before you receive it. So Ive paid up, no monitor, Ive done the review and selected the monitor. Youd expect an email advising your monitor is on the way? Nope, a text? Nope, someone in the store helps? Nope, they dont even have a contact. Dont buy online from these guys, they dont even have contact relationships with their own suppliers.

Poor customer service
Lets be clear, this is a stockist, they are middle men for IT products, as such they need to have the highest regard for customer service.I was not satisfied with their service, and found their staff to be arrogant and rude. I wont be returning to this stockist, many other businesses with better people skills and desire to help. Very disappointed, did not feel like a valued customer. Also, the information that they scrape from customers serves their and third party promotion; be wary to understand what information you provide and how they will use and or sell to other users. Great range of quality products, but they are a stockist, a service provider and not a manufacturer.

Extremely poor customer service
I recently purchased a motherboard which was different from the model I wanted but I went with the Computer Alliance recommendation.
I had no end of trouble trying to get the thing to work and gave up in frustration. I contacted Computer Alliance who said they would charge me a minimum of $120 to assemble it for me plus shipping cost to them plus shipping cost back to me.
So much for after-sales service.
Not surprised but very disappointed.
Turns out that the Computer Alliance so-called bargain was no bargain at all.
To add insult to injury I ...Read more

Dishonest management
Sold me item that won’t work on my home setup (I’m running 32bit and it only works on 64bit. They said very few people use 32bit now) and then charged “restocking fee” upon return despite this not being listed as return condition on invoice and return sales person agreeing I was sold the wrong thing. Would never recommend as too suspicious now what other things they are doing/charging for behind backs. Sales staff were friendly and honest but can’t say much for management.
