Piece of junk – It leaked a white sandy deposit first time I used it, and I used it the day I got it. how the heck would anything be in there if it hasn't been used before? I'm pretty sure mineral deposit from tap water couldn't build up in a matter of seconds? And it leaks, that's what happens when you buy cheap stuff

Great iron – Brought this morning from big w gympie.. Just finished ironing 2 loads of shirts and for a cheap iron works like a charm years up quick with heaps of steam when I needed it highly recommend....also has a 2 year warranty fantastic Show details

steam iron – I bought the contempo steam iron a month ago just used it for the first time, it is not heating properly and retaining its heat, It was only cheap but still not working up to what I would call standard, jeans, etc I do a lot of ironing, not commercially, but expect the iron to do the job, my last iron I had for 15 years and was an inexpensive one, and was only 2000 watts, only reaon I got a new one was the cord was fraying  Show details

Disappointed – I bought this iron from BigW for $15 it was ok for a while. Leaks a little bit but after a while the inside started to rust and little bit of rusty metal kept falling out of the iron onto the garment and ironing board. I had it for a few years and then it started to trip the electrical ciruit breaker. So I bought a Kmart iron for $15 and it just leaks.  Show details

Not good but it is ok for what you get with this price – Leaking & don't iron clothes properly! However if you are after a cheap product with a lot of features (Auto shut down, self cleaning, Ceramic sole plate) so I guess this would be your best options.
