Good and bad customer service
This review is about bad service and good service . It started when my partner saw a beautiful green coat at Cotton On at Airportwest shopping centre , this green coat was on a mannequin and it was the last green one left so I asked the sales assistance if there were any other green coats the same as the one that was on the mannequin, she replied no and probably won't have any more coming in , so I asked if my partner could buy the one that was on the mannequin! Her reply was its company policy not to take cloths off the mannequins . I said we...ll if your not getting any more in what happens to the one on the mannequin ! Her reply was she didn't know . So the conversation went to and frow but they wouldn't budge . I asked the sales assistance if she could ring another store that had 1 . Broadmeadows shopping centre had 1 so we put that on hold . My partner and I travelled to Broadmeadows shopping centre to find these 2 young ladies that were very very helpful so my partner bought the coat . I couldn't help myself so I told these 2 young girls what happened and if it was company policy that clothing couldn't be taken of mannequins ! Their reply was if a customer is interested in a item that's on a mannequin yes they would take if off and put another colour coat or item on it. They also said that the other store assistance was probably to lazy to take the coat of the mannequin. I wish I got names but thank you Cotton On Broadmeadows you set a good example of good service .
I purchased 3 items online. 7 days later I realised the money had come out of my account but I never received a confirmation of purchase email nor any email to say my order was on its way. Turns out 1 of the items I ordered was no longer available so they cancelled the whole order, didn’t notify me it was cancelled and never bothered to refund me. It was only $60 but an email of the cancelled order would have been nice so I could have at least chased up the refund myself sooner. I won’t be purchasing from them again.
Still no click and collect order 1 month later!!
I ordered t-shirts for my children over a month ago via their click and collect. I was told 3 weeks ago they were dispatched to the store and to wait for an email to say it’s ready for collection.. still waiting and I am no longer getting replies from their customer service team. Won’t be buying through them again.
Won't order again
I made my order in store as they didn't have stock. They ordered it for me to be sent to my house from warehouse. Paid for it. It has been 4 weeks. I received a email 2 weeks after order saying they have cancelled it due to error address. And now have not responded to any email since, (2 weeks later) and no refund or any contact following up my ordered. I am horrified from such a big company for their lack of costumer service.
Shocking customer service
Shocking customer service. Placed an order 3 weeks later, after contacting them twice finally got a response that my order has been cancelled but didn't refund me nor contact me to let me know.
Terrible service -no gift card sent
Ordered gift card online and never received.
Still waiting for refund.

Way to expensive all of a sudden
I use to make big 3-$400 online shops at a time and get tons of clothes.
Now the prices are ridiculous!! $50–$80 for a plain jumper?! No thanks, and the stitching just falls apart.
The styles are out there (which I get is in atm) or horrible materials that don’t breathe and I can’t wear due to health issues. There are a few good basics. But even they are $30 now when they use to be $10.
I’m so upset I won’t be shopping here anymore to buy new boxes of clothes for me and my daughter every season like we use to is not affordable at all, sad tha...
Never shopping here again
In their infinite "Wisdom" to save the world, the hypocrites use pleather. The process itself is highly toxic to the ozone, but also smells like the contents of the rubbish bags used. I had to air my new jacket out for days and ended up needing to rub baking soda on it. Still smells like crap, its still way too big despite ordering a smaller size and I'm extremely dirty on the fact I forked out decent money for a jacket that I thought was leather only to be conned into buying a cheap, gross smelling jacket because of a bunch of useless white un...i students crying when leather is still readily available as a by product of the meat industry and is still more sustainable than plastic leather. Yes, using leather means less wastage and less toxic emissions, for the idiots at head office who's stupidity is genuinely offensive. Cows die for meat everyday, just use their skin too so their carcases don't go to waste and people aren't forced to wear something that smells like a dead fish just because y'all lie and say fake leather is good. Maybe just don't sell fake leather products at all. That would be more sustainable than sending toxic gases up into the earth's atmosphere and pouring acid rain down on to your sweat shop employees. Because then there's the scary cheap stuff that claims to be sustainable and ethical but should cost more than $4 to make let alone sell, so ethical workplaces and employees are also a lie. Cotton is a waste of water so sustainable cotton is also out, use hemp instead. The biggest joke is though that no one cares or bothers to notice despite shopping here because "They help people and are environmentally friendly" and actually think in buying the totes or water or whatever other "Charity items", they're doing something good. The packaging alone is a testament to what a crap company this is. Don't kid yourselves into thinking you're a better person for shopping at a place that uses slave labour and don't know the meaning of sustainable. You may as well shop at kmart, at least their fake leather doesn't smell disgusting when its meant to be brand new. Don't respond with how to care for my product or some other regurgitated human resource answer either, just sit in your shame and crap off silently.
I had been using CottonOn for years now and enjoyed there wide range for affordable prices but the last couple of orders I've been disappointed.
Clothing has had holes along with a tear and most clothing looking unfinished as there's string hanging off in most sections.
Don’t buy online and do not pay for extra postage fees
Purchased Cotton On Body and paid for their express shipping.
The courier for did not even bother to drop it off and ring the doorbell. Just decided to send it straight to the post office for collection. Despite myself having been home the whole day. Having gone out to check when receiving the text msg that they could not deliver the parcel. No one was outside! Waste of time and money would shop somewhere else. Dealing with the courier and online chat was both a waste of time. My concern was dismissed.
Used to love cotton on
Cotton on used to be a good cost effective brand, had fairly good quality staples - followed some trends but didn't get too carried away. Their jeans were always questionable fit/wear but overall I loved shopping there. Now it's following Gen Z fashion trends so hard, there is no mix of basics and trends anymore and the price has risen significantly. $70ish dollars for PJ pants! Calm down Cotton On you're not Peter Alexander, you should stay in your lane. Even cotton on body/active used to be amazing and now it's ugly and expensive yet no better quality. I hope it changes soon because I miss shopping there.
Never told about cancelled item - terrible customer service
I ordered the personalised backpack and drinkbottle (matching) online. Had to wait a few weeks for it but delivery was scheduled for the day before daughter started kinder. The drink bottle arrived but no backpack. When I rang, they said it was out of stock. No one had told me and it was up to me to chase. I was offered no compensation and when I asked to return the drink bottle as i now didnt need it (no matching backpack for it) they said no. Terrible service, held my money for 2 weeks without notification, had to run out and buy a backpack for daughter the night before after being left without warning,
Cottoned On, to Cotton On
Always attracted to C.O's value driven ethos. Clean, Green and Natural. So was very Disappointed recently to see the alcohol ridden slogans on men's Tshirts. This Nation has a significant alcohol problem, with our young men and more recently young women. Expected more. A real downer.
Products not as good anymore
I used to buy a lot from Cotton on a few years ago but their range has changed and they don't stock anything like I used to get. eg t-shirts don't have the variety of logos etc. and the sizing is all big and baggy. What used to be Adele trackpant is limited if at all. No more nice cargo pants and the longer style silky t-shirt has been replaced by the 'Kris' which hasn't got the longer back. It's all rubbish. I used to spend a lot of money in Cotton on but they've gone downhill badly. Maybe since COVID not getting the range from China? Won't be buying there again as I'm not a teenager and it looks like that's all they're catering for now.

Wrong items reccieved. No refund or new item sent.
Ordered 3 facemasks and paid for express shipping as the khaki one was required by the 15/1. Reccieved the items shown in the picture. Would not have made the order at all if khaki mask would not arrive by 15/1. Sent wrong item and informed they were out of stock by live chat and that they wouldn't refund postage or accept the items returned. Absolutely disgusted, as am unable to physically shop at the moment, and had informed them of this. So have useless items and am out of pocket for the express post, and have no way of getting the item required by the date required.

Still haven't received the tracking number after purchase it and been almost 3 weeks now , very disappointed!!!!!!
Online shopping with Cotton On is ok if u choose to pick up in shop. I am still wondering why Cotton On is still using country’s worst shipping company - Courier xxxxxx!
The driver never came to your home for delivery but they did update their online status as “attempt to deliver but not at home”! Also they said they left the card for me but they did not ! What a ridiculous service!!! I did give instruction to leave my order at my front door but they took my order back to their warehouse ‘
I am so frustrated to have Courier pls to deliver my order as I had few horrible experiences with them. This time, again, I really don’t know how long can I take my order back or it would never come ?
Cotton On Admin/Customer device: Please take all your customers review seriously and consider to change your courier partnership to boost your competitiveness !
No extend sizes available in the store. If I found one, you are lucky. That probably is the only one in Aus. Why are they producing it? Save for themselves to wear, not for sale?
