Express Shipping is anything BUT express.
I used to LOVE cotton on. Honestly, whenever I needed new clothes, stationary, active wear or undies they're always the first place I'd look. Its such a shame that the online store is so poorly handled, specifically the timing with which you receive an order. On several occasions now I've paid for express shipping & been given a delivery date only to have my order turn up well over a week later, whats the point in even offering express if you can't follow through on the promise of it being here sooner than if i hadn't paid any extra at all? I'v...e often gone into the store to try and avoid this but they NEVER seem to have the same stock in store or even have anything remotely similar to what I'm looking for & when you ask the staff for assistance, they look at you like you're speaking jibberish. The customer service team never seems to be overly enthusiastic about helping either, often talking to you like you were born yesterday. Not very helpful & leaves me feeling like it's time to find another cheap, generic & vaguely fashionable place to shop. Disappointing.
Fleece lined leggings
Love, love, love these! I am a Personal Trainer working outdoors, early mornings and evenings. Yesterday, it was 7 degrees and I was frozen by the time I'd finished my session at 7am, even though I was wearing 2 pairs of normal leggings. Went and bought 2 pairs of your fleece lined leggings, wore them last night and this morning - and wasn't cold at all. Would definitely recommend and will buy more in different colours .
Garbage Thongs, Difficult Sandals, Order Mix Ups, and Where The Hell Do I Leave a Review?
I've only made two online orders with the Cotton:On website and both times my order was incomplete. The first time an item was simply missing, the second time it had been replaced with something I never even looked at. Oddly enough, both times the missing item was a Flow Writer pen. The item they sent instead in the second order was nail polish. When you look at the Returns and Exchanges information online it has a section about extra items being delivered, so apparently it's a common problem they can't seem to fix. Luckily, when I went to the ...Typo store to exchange it in Geelong I didn't have any issues. I have shopped in-store at Geelong's Typo three times and the staff in that store always seem to be in good moods, or are at least helpful. My second order (which arrived about four days ago) also included Sporty Stormy Thongs, which promptly tore within the first fifteen minutes I wore them. I was at the beach and apparently they aren't meant to get wet because in no time at all the fabric attached to the thong ripped on both shoes. I wasn't trying to walk through the water with them on or on loose sand while soaking wet, they just got wet from a wave lapping on shore. They felt good when I wore them, it wasn't a wrong size issue. I've had plenty of other fabric thongs throughout life (I can't wear plastic ones, I get blisters) and they all made it at least a year of regular use before breaking or fraying. I know these thongs were only $15, but I've had similarly priced ones that were better. This is shockingly poor craftsmanship. That order also included some Kim Combat sandals, which have two buckle locations. I didn't think about it at the time of ordering but once I went to put them on I realized it was very difficult to get them buckled as the buckles are on the very outer edge of the sandal, making it hard to reach. The holes are also very small, making it even more difficult. Once I have the shoes on they are comfortable, but it's an ordeal. Happily, the swimsuit I ordered has been great so there seems to be at least one clothing/fabric item that works as desired. I have seen a lot of other reviews on here and other places with people complaining about clothing products though. Sadly I didn't look online for reviews before using Cotton:On, otherwise I may have avoided some of the purchases I made. I will say that my shipping/delivery experience has not been terrible like a lot of other reviews. My two orders each arrived within 5 business days of purchase and the package was in good shape, only missing one item each instead of half the order like some others.
Awful customer service
Norwood store. Returned product purchased with gift card. Had receipt etc. First told couldn't get a refund and had to purchase something today. Finally said could only refund to gift card and had none in stock so I would have to come back to store on another day. I insisted on refund for click and collect item was picking up. When realised I was serious about walking away they finally managed to do a cash refund and I repurchased click and collect item on credit card. Very unpleasant shopping experience. Wont be returning.
Shocking customer service.
Bought my daughter a pair of bathers for Xmas. They came with no plastic protector. Too small. Returned day after Boxing Day with tags attached. Rude manager was very dismissive and said no protector no exchange. Went to purchase another pair and they had no protector either which I showed the Manager who just to be a joke refused to sell them to me. Will NEVER go back.
Everything in the order was perfect! Loved everything, I will definitely be buying from Cotton On again. Thank you Cotton On!

Cotton on Kids - Carindale - A+++
We have had such positive experiences with this store. We’ve never had a bad experience, but recently they’ve been superb. I bought a heap of clothes online (Covid19) and had to return the shorts as they were a bit big on my lanky son. The lady at the counter could not have been more helpful. I then realised they have a great range of Christmas Pyjamas - fun and good fabric. I went and selected some items and the sales lady was friendly putting through the purchases and suggesting where I might find themed items I haven’t seen in shops (no...t available through Cotton On). I then wanted an item not in the store, so the lady instantly arranged free delivery. We hadn’t been able to find one item in the desired size, so I bought a size down (staff volunteered to search reserves, but no luck). I realised at home it wouldn’t be suitable, so hubby returned it. Again no issue, and they’ll send this one item out in the correct size with free postage (again). The staff were a delight. Nothing was too much trouble. Due to health issues I had to return items to four stores - Cotton On and Target were fantastic. Big W a pain, whilst Coles -100. We’ll definitely be back to Cotton On Kids for their range, prices, and lovely staff.

Charging For Express Postage But Sending Parcel By Standard Post.
I love cotton on and I recently got a heap of really cool shirts and socks from the Goosebumps collection. However, what I really do not appreciate and what has lead me to give one star, is the fact they gave me the option of express postage for $2 extra (otherwise it was free for standard) but my parcel was sent out via Parcel Post, not Express. I would have been happy to wait for standard postage and claim my free shipping but I thought to myself 'it's only $2, why not?'. I know it's only $2 and it might seem petty, but upon questioning this,...I have been ignored. I understand with times as they are that express post might not be available and they may have been forced to use standard, which I do not mind at all, I just hate that I was charged when I could have utilized standard post for free and I have been ignored and not given an explanation about why this occurred. I did note on the website that some postcodes are not eligible for express post right now, but it does not mention which postcodes so I would have no idea if I was one of those postcodes and if this is the case, they should have a postcode blocker on to stop those from ineligible areas from paying extra for the service so this is also not an excuse. They simply cannot just mention that some postcodes are not eligible and then not disclose which postcodes are ineligible. I won't go as far as demanding my $2 back, but I'm still very annoyed and it needs to be acknowledged and corrected as it looks very dishonest.
No reply at all
I sent more than 10 emails to CottonOn but no reply at all. They just ignored my emails. I did not receive my parcel. The customer service team just handballing.
Track pants for men
The mens clothes supplied were marked large but the were small so I gave them to the kids ordered a second set the clothes turned and they had a couple of hole's in them.
I then contacted customer service, no joy it was a voice message, I the tried on line, it was like watching paint dry as they must have been taking numerous chats at the same time.
So here I am leaving feed back give them a miss there customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

Always love going online for one thing and checking out with many. It's estimate delivery is accurate, well packaged and great sizes and variety of choice. One of my fave places to shop!
Affordable and stylish
I'm a teacher and recently needed to stock up on some basics. Of course this basics shop turned into a super wardrobe overhaul. I ended up buying some long and short tees, crops, skirts, shorts, jeans, jumpers, sports tops and matching sets. I couldn't help myself and with their prices I could buy multiple colours and not worry about breaking the bank. Everything came well packaged and the sizing and quality was great, especially considering every item was $30 or under. 100% fave shop.

Great Styles, Great Prices and Great Range
Cotton on Body is a great place to buy activewear or loungewear. The prices are so reasonable and the products are on-trend. I love their recent Super Soft Draw Cord Crew and would love to see more of these in earthy, warm colours. Shipping took a little longer than expected, but items arrived well wrapped and boxed.
first time click and collect was so easy and the product was great i couldnt get the pants instore so i tried online and yes the sizing was true to size fits great
An absolute muck around
I ordered several items and after they arrived I returned the items immediately on the 21/04 that didn't fit via the print out return postage slip. After close to 2 months of ordering items and waiting hours on the live chat (only for it to fail each time and return me to the back of the queue), emailing customer service, contacting the store and contacting them on messenger, my refund has finally begun the return process although this will take up to 5 business days to process. I was told by the store to keep trying the live chat, so this is ...what I did and finally had a response but was not told sorry for the muck around or anything instead I was told that this was just a mistake in their system. Not good enough. And after explaining how frustrated I was, they offered me free shipping for next time I make a purchase online. I WILL NEVER AGAIN. What an absolute joke.

I would like to commend Mr. Timothy, who is always active by email whenever I have some questions about the order I placed on their site. I've made a mistake placing an order with a missing information for the address and he did his best to have it updated. I was kind of hesitant at first because of the reviews I saw here but I was proved otherwise. I received my parcel today- a week later since I placed my order and I'm from Dubai, UAE. All in the right sizes and in great quality. Thank you so much!! I couldn't be happier!

Sent wrong item and ticket closed with no response
I ordered several items online on April 29 which were delivered May 5. One item was incorrect- I ordered a cat pen I really wanted and they sent a different one so I emailed asking for the correct one or a refund and it’s now weeks later and still no response and they closed the ticket without contacting me at all. I’m just bummed because I normally love typo and cotton on and I really wanted that cat pen! To not even get a response or a “sorry” is really disappointing.
Utterly Disgusting Online service!
Disgusting service at the moment! I have never had issues in the past, but recently I have had my money taken from my credit card, but zero acknowledgment that my order has been received.
I have tried to confirm what is happening for 3WEEKS via email, messenger, instore and phoning their help line with zero response.
Covid or no Covid, this is absolutely unacceptable. My money has been taken without an order being processed, or at the very least, with them failing to advise me otherwise in this 3week period!

Returned items not refunded
I returned several items 3 weeks ago. Have not received a refund. Spent 4.5 hours over 3 days trying to access online chat. Finally got on. No help whatsoever. Disgusting

No extend sizes available in the store. If I found one, you are lucky. That probably is the only one in Aus. Why are they producing it? Save for themselves to wear, not for sale?
