Garbage Thongs, Difficult Sandals, Order Mix Ups, and Where The Hell Do I Leave a Review?
I've only made two online orders with the Cotton:On website and both times my order was incomplete. The first time an item was simply missing, the second time it had been replaced with something I never even looked at. Oddly enough, both times the missing item was a Flow Writer pen. The item they sent instead in the second order was nail polish. When you look at the Returns and Exchanges information online it has a section about extra items being delivered, so apparently it's a common problem they can't seem to fix. Luckily, when I went to the ...Typo store to exchange it in Geelong I didn't have any issues. I have shopped in-store at Geelong's Typo three times and the staff in that store always seem to be in good moods, or are at least helpful. My second order (which arrived about four days ago) also included Sporty Stormy Thongs, which promptly tore within the first fifteen minutes I wore them. I was at the beach and apparently they aren't meant to get wet because in no time at all the fabric attached to the thong ripped on both shoes. I wasn't trying to walk through the water with them on or on loose sand while soaking wet, they just got wet from a wave lapping on shore. They felt good when I wore them, it wasn't a wrong size issue. I've had plenty of other fabric thongs throughout life (I can't wear plastic ones, I get blisters) and they all made it at least a year of regular use before breaking or fraying. I know these thongs were only $15, but I've had similarly priced ones that were better. This is shockingly poor craftsmanship. That order also included some Kim Combat sandals, which have two buckle locations. I didn't think about it at the time of ordering but once I went to put them on I realized it was very difficult to get them buckled as the buckles are on the very outer edge of the sandal, making it hard to reach. The holes are also very small, making it even more difficult. Once I have the shoes on they are comfortable, but it's an ordeal. Happily, the swimsuit I ordered has been great so there seems to be at least one clothing/fabric item that works as desired. I have seen a lot of other reviews on here and other places with people complaining about clothing products though. Sadly I didn't look online for reviews before using Cotton:On, otherwise I may have avoided some of the purchases I made. I will say that my shipping/delivery experience has not been terrible like a lot of other reviews. My two orders each arrived within 5 business days of purchase and the package was in good shape, only missing one item each instead of half the order like some others.
Hi all so I went in a week ago and bought some presents from my.son to give to me for Christmas. I bought a bag from there in within the first week of having it the bag broke. What do I do. Do I take it back an tell them or no point ? The bag cost me about $20 or so ?
Ordered 2 jumpers and 2 packets of 2-pack BIYS TRUNKS, got 2 jumpers and only ONE packet of 2-pack GIRLS TRINKS. The local stores can’t help, customer service number is blocked because of COVID19, on 144 number in a queue which changes every minute and gets longer!!! Frustrating!!,

Perfect sizing, but terrible for the earth
The sizing and clothes themselves were perfect. The issue I had was with the amount of plastic used to wrap each individual item. Is Cotton On able to wrap several clothes in one singular piece of plastic before shipping it to the same address? It seemed unnecessary to create such a large amount of plastic rubbish for my one order :(
This company has ok, items at a reasonable price, quality is average, some of the sizing is wrong but overall products are good, but customer service needs more improvement, they should have free delivery for regular buyers would keep customers coming back.
PRICES TOO HIGH
I used to buy in Melbourne but now i moved to Sydney and it seems like is so expensive. Also you buy tshirts for $25 and one week later is $5. It seems like you just need to wait what's left but it also means the overcharge is insane.
The clothing in this store are reasonable for their price. The quality is usually a bit under decent but it also depends on the item you are buying. I was satisfied with level of the store but I see improvement/
Decent prices but falls flat for body diversity
(regarding Womens range)
* The product pages don't have enough garment info - some have none at all.
* The sizing charts need a LOT of work.
* There absolutely needs to be some kind of customer feedback option - reviews are crucial when shopping online especially when it comes to clothing, to know what sizing suits what body types.
* Shipping takes 3-5 business days, free over $60.
* Returns are FREE, which is something.
* There are frequent sales, which is awesome.
* Clothing quality is CHEAP - they've definitely compromised quantity ove...
Great if you can get it on sale
The quality of cotton on clothing is poor for the listed RRP, however, if you manage to get items on sale, great deal! e.g. $10 jeans, $3 tops, $5 shoes
Charging customers for paper brown bags
This is just another money making venture your no better than the supermarkets etc
I thought you only had to pay for reusable plastic bags not a paper bag that fell apart by the time I got to the car less than 10 minutes. And yes I forgot my bags and yes I was willing to purchase a reusable bag but not a brown bag that is not reusable! Seriously cotton on!!!
Love the store. Blazer I bought wasn't very practical though. A Heads Up.
ok easy to navigate satisfied with the range of products available but for anyone looking to get the relaxed blazer, just a heads up: it doesn't have any working pockets. also it's super thin so it's more spring wear or autumn wear when its super warm or you can wear a jumper inside or something. it didn't turn out how i expected it to but thats mostly my fault for not checking it out properly and just looking at style. if you're just after style and fashion then this blazers sick but if youre after practicality then this isn't the blazer for you.
Reasonable Quality and Price
Cotton on has reasonable quality and priced items, but some things are definitely overpriced. The service is average and the online services are good.
Sizing and Midriffs - it’s like an adult can’t shop there anymore.
I have always loved CottonOn and still shop there regularly but I have found that most of the tops are midriffs and the sizing is ridiculous these days. The only shirts to cover my belly seem to be big and baggy. The other day I tried on multiple articles of clothing. A shirt in a small (fit perfectly), a dress in a medium (an ok fit) and another dress in a Size 12 (way too tight)! Why are you doing the same thing that they did to Supre?! I’m in my 20s and still want to dress like a young person without having to display my belly.
Usually great service but now not so much
I love Cotton On and regularly shop there however i purchased a dress which I hadn't worn and in the first 5 minutes of wearing it the strap completely snapped off. I was heading on a holiday so I had left my receipt at home but wanted to sort out the issue at a local store on my way. When I explained the situation, the lady was very abrupt and told me that there is nothing she can do for me - even though i could have used a bank statement - and that the dress had "obviously" been worn so she wouldn't want to refund it anyway... It was worn for...5 minutes and had a spray of perfume as i was planning on wearing it on my holiday. I work in retail so i understand that there are limits on returns which is why i didn't make a fuss, however, when an item is broken and evidently from the store, i would have expected better service. Left the store with nothing but a dress with a broken strap and a business card for their customer service hotline. Really unimpressed and felt very embarrassed about the way it was handled. I have since returned home and will be returning the item with the receipt to a different store.
No price matching to their own website?
Usually I have nothing every to complain about when I shop at Cotton On however the "Burnie Mega Store" always have exceptional customer service; However, there are some issues I have noticed that rather disappointing. Firstly they do not price match to their own website, which is rather disappointing as shoes on their website may be $20 but in store they are $50? I understand if they do not price match to other stores, but not to their own company? Seems rather silly. Secondly, you can not in store pick up from the Burnie "Mega Store" which is...rather frustrating has you can from either the Launceston or Hobart Store, but when living in Burnie the idea of driving to Hobart or Launceston to pick up a delivery from a store that is also located in Burnie in't appealing and is annoying. I really believe if these issues can be addressed they will make a lot more Business in the Burnie store.

Reasonable kids clothing
I shopped few times from cotton on specially kids clothing and they are very affordable at very reasonable cost. i would highly recommend cotton on for casual kids clothing.

Not the best, but not bad.
I did a lot of shopping from them, online and in store, over the last 3 months (because I like stocking up on their underwear, tees, pjs, and knitwear every year). In store, everything was fine. The quality isn't the best, but everything is really cheap anyway. I found out cotton on is genuinely pretty ethical (it isn't all talk), which I really appreciate.
The problems came up with online shopping. I did the majority of my shopping online, and they use those re-sealable parcels to make returns free. Most of the parcels came with both of the s...
Cotton is an alright shop, they always have the latest trends but can also sometimes be crazily over priced! But they always have good sales going on which is good

I've bought online from them heaps and they are a hit or miss when it comes to their products. They have always arrived on time or early which is great but they have lost or not even sent my package a couple of time which is a little annoying, especially when you pay for express shipping. The clothes usually smell like chemicals especially the denim. A lot of the clothes are really cheap so I don't exactly expect it to last that long and have excellent quality fabric but come on, they need to last for more then 2 times in the wash.
April 5th...2018 Update: Affordable and heaps of options Whenever I order from Cotton On it is usually big orders of usually 10-17 items per order. As much as I love their pricing and promotions, Their clothes often come with the smell of chemicals in the denims, a small rip or hole in the thin materials. The shipping is not always correct even though it does come with a warning to give or take a couple of days, sometimes I don't receive a shipping confirmation til 5 days after. I've had at least 5 orders this year and the only problems I had was the chemical smell, a few seam problems (holes/loose thread) and two of the orders came a few days late but one came a day early.

I bought a few dresses online that I already had bought in store and wanted more. They came quickly. They are quite a bit shorter than what I had bought in store though, despite being the same product.
Questions & Answers
No extend sizes available in the store. If I found one, you are lucky. That probably is the only one in Aus. Why are they producing it? Save for themselves to wear, not for sale?
