In their infinite "Wisdom" to save the world, the hypocrites use pleather. The process itself is highly toxic to the ozone, but also smells like the contents of the rubbish bags used. I had to air my new jacket out for days and ended up needing to rub baking soda on it. Still smells like crap, its still way too big despite ordering a smaller size and I'm extremely dirty on the fact I forked out decent money for a jacket that I thought was leather only to be conned into buying a cheap, gross smelling jacket because of a bunch of useless white un...
Read morei students crying when leather is still readily available as a by product of the meat industry and is still more sustainable than plastic leather. Yes, using leather means less wastage and less toxic emissions, for the idiots at head office who's stupidity is genuinely offensive. Cows die for meat everyday, just use their skin too so their carcases don't go to waste and people aren't forced to wear something that smells like a dead fish just because y'all lie and say fake leather is good. Maybe just don't sell fake leather products at all. That would be more sustainable than sending toxic gases up into the earth's atmosphere and pouring acid rain down on to your sweat shop employees. Because then there's the scary cheap stuff that claims to be sustainable and ethical but should cost more than $4 to make let alone sell, so ethical workplaces and employees are also a lie. Cotton is a waste of water so sustainable cotton is also out, use hemp instead. The biggest joke is though that no one cares or bothers to notice despite shopping here because "They help people and are environmentally friendly" and actually think in buying the totes or water or whatever other "Charity items", they're doing something good. The packaging alone is a testament to what a crap company this is. Don't kid yourselves into thinking you're a better person for shopping at a place that uses slave labour and don't know the meaning of sustainable. You may as well shop at kmart, at least their fake leather doesn't smell disgusting when its meant to be brand new. Don't respond with how to care for my product or some other regurgitated human resource answer either, just sit in your shame and crap off silently.- 5 reviews

I used to buy a lot from Cotton on a few years ago but their range has changed and they don't stock anything like I used to get. eg t-shirts don't have the variety of logos etc. and the sizing is all big and baggy. What used to be Adele trackpant is limited if at all. No more nice cargo pants and the longer style silky t-shirt has been replaced by the 'Kris' which hasn't got the longer back. It's all rubbish. I used to spend a lot of money in Cotton on but they've gone downhill badly. Maybe since COVID not getting the range from China? Won't be buying there again as I'm not a teenager and it looks like that's all they're catering for now.
Order returned two+ months ago, still not processed and no idea when this will be processed. Online experience shouldn't be based on "possibilities", "high chances", and "hoping" to get the returns processed and these are the answers I get from Cotton On.

Terrible delivery time, even worse return time. Since my return was received, it is almost 4 weeks later and the refund has not been processed. I am advised it has been received, but please allow 7-14 days for our team to contact you ‘once warehouse staff have come across it’. No other retailer has such poor customer service even during the busiest of times. Completely unacceptable.

I ordered two packages one arrived today the other not here yet. The one I just received came as I was in the living room so I could see it being delivered. This man walked not even up the steps of my house and threw my package at my door. I understand it is just clothes but that is horrible... they also say my second package isn meant to arrive AND I PAY EXPRESS SHIPPING but when I search it on "couriers please" website its changed for in another 3 days. Seriously, update your customers on these things.

Clothing is not worth the price . Sick of dresses that shrink in the wash and thin material. I hate being pressured into buying the $2 tissues. The change rooms in all cotton on stores are disgusting. Covered in clothes tags and dust
I brought the Woven Essential Button Front Mini Dress in STELLA DAISY CALI yellow, It was a perfect fit and so so pretty. I loved it so much I brought one in powder blue. As I'm a little older I will wear it will tights.

I purchased some face masks. I tried to exchange an unopened mask. Cotton on staff refused stating some "health concerns"? What concerns? The item was unopened and the only way to access the mask is to cut open the packaging.
There is no way that this mask was in anyway different to the condition it was sold in.
I wasn't looking for a refund, all I wanted was to exchange the unopened product for the correct size.
Last month I ordered a journal online, I received an iPhone 6 case instead. This month I ordered 14 items, I'm missing 8 items from my order. I spoke to Yumna on chat, Yumna advised me she couldn't assist me for 24 hours because she was assisting 6 other people - why would you accept my chat request for assistance then? I spent nearly $300 on this order, I placed the order 3 days ago with express shipping - I'm not willing to wait for 24 hours just so they can contact someone to begin an investigation which could take however long. Would never order from the Cotton On Group online ever again, two issues within two months related back to warehousing issues is terrible. Stay away

Took 2 months and no money returned back yet. The jacket is supposed to be size M but in fact very big like size XL. Unbelievable how they get it wrong. There's no return confirmation or selection to make sure what item is returned for what reason. The process is so flimsy based so much on a chain technology by Auspost, risking a lot of things can go wrong and human errors. I feel horrible whether it would get back to them and I will get refund because I get no receipt. This is the first time I got to take a photo of what I return just in case ...
Read morebecause there are no other ways to know what's actually being returned in the box. Customer service chats are bad, inexperienced and not sensitive or compassionate. Auspost took 1 month to post it back. They (CottonOn) is taking another month and I still haven't got money back. Purchased a pair of white jeans online. They were TERRIBLE! The colour was a white/grey like it was washed in a load of dirty water. The jeans were soooo thick and heavy, heavy, too heavy. The waist was up around my mid rib cage but the waist was too small. They were a mess. Sent them back after a very difficult search to actually find out how. Now waiting for refund. Its four weeks now.

I ordered several items and after they arrived I returned the items immediately on the 21/04 that didn't fit via the print out return postage slip. After close to 2 months of ordering items and waiting hours on the live chat (only for it to fail each time and return me to the back of the queue), emailing customer service, contacting the store and contacting them on messenger, my refund has finally begun the return process although this will take up to 5 business days to process. I returned several items 3 weeks ago. Have not received a refund. Spent 4.5 hours over 3 days trying to access online chat. Finally got on. No help whatsoever. Disgusting

It’s been 2 weeks since i returned the items that didn’t fit and I still haven’t got the refund. Cotton on customer service sends you millions of emails for you to review their items quality etc but they don’t consider reimbursing their clients a priority!!!!
I returned an item 2 weeks ago by shipping it back to cotton and I got an email saying it arrived. However I have still not got my money back after over 2 weeks. they just ignore my emails saying that they have a lot of questions to answer but it should not take over 2 weeks to answer mine. I am so annoyed that I basically paid for something I don’t even have.

The driver never came to your home for delivery but they did update their online status as “attempt to deliver but not at home”! Also they said they left the card for me but they did not ! What a ridiculous service!!! I did give instruction to leave my order at my front door but they took my order back to their warehouse ‘
I am so frustrated to have Courier pls to deliver my order as I had few horrible experiences with them. This time, again, I really don’t know how long can I take my order back or it would never come ?
Cotton On Admin/Customer device: Please take all your customers review seriously and consider to change your courier partnership to boost your competitiveness !
No extend sizes available in the store. If I found one, you are lucky. That probably is the only one in Aus. Why are they producing it? Save for themselves to wear, not for sale?
