No email for 10 days. Still not fixed 10 Oct 2023
My mail domain was migrated on 28 Sept 2023. Since then no emails.
Called several times, no ETA and all they says is server issue.
If you want to see your emails, don't use CrazyDomains for webmail hosting
I use CrazyDomains for domain and webmail hosting. I was a happy and satisfied customer of CrazyDomains for many years. That all changed with the email 'migration' last year. What was advertised by Crazy Domains as a move to "a better platform" with "more features" has been a disaster for me (and seemingly for others). The information I received from CrazyDomains about continuity of me email accounts through the migration was inconsistent and contradictory. Read moree same time; I had to use different server settings to access emails from the same account depending on which device/program I was using (this wasn't required before the migration) and different setting for the different accounts; I lost more than a week's worth of email traffic across many of those emaill accounts as each was migrated; and I had to deal with customer support represnetative who were either indifferent or rude (sometimes both). I was promised the problem wouldn't happen again. Since then, I have twice suffered significant webmail outages lasting many days - the most recent just last week. Again, customer support has been inconsistent and patronising. Again, I have been promisd that it won't happen again. Yeah, right. That I have lost business and income, and suffered reputational damage, elicits no more than a "we apologise for the inconvenience". I am now actively looking for an alternative provider. After 8 communications over 2 weeks, the first operator told me to change my email address in profile before transferring to new registrar, which put a 60 day ICANN block on my domain which was expiring in 30 days. They requested I pay them to keep my domain for their wrong advice. Second operator apologized said she would fix and call back, no call back, same story with the rest of them, never fixed it, never called back. Told me to ignore emails from my new registrar. I had to pay them for their mistake to keep my domain, that's extortion.

We moved our web hosting from another service provider to Crazy Domains. We have had issues with our email soon after. We had to engage Advanced Support Consultant which is a paid service. We were made to change our email password. While they could migrate the emails, our emails stopped working on iPhones. We spent almost two days troubleshooting that with Crazy Domains with zero results. Then since late yesterday our emails stopped working altogether. I have sent nearly a dozen emails to every address I have. None has responded. Three attempts on chatline have failed to get a result. After two attempts on the phone, nobody cared. I am not sure if they come under TIO? It is absolutely pathetic service. How can a small business survive?

No emails and no resolution
We were advised by Crazy Domains to migrate from email hosting to email exchange. Paid the money (a lot) but migration wasn’t done properly by Crazy Domains as informed by them and needed to be done again. Four days later we have no emails and keep being told it is in progress with no completion information able to be provided. I have made multiple calls to them, been given multiple reasons, excuses, timeframes. Tonight I was told it would take another day. No one has called back once. I have lost customers and cannot operate my business. I have requested a full refund and to cancel any migration and email exchange that we had paid for because it has definitely not been provided.

Crazy Domains host my domain and emails. I've never had a good experience with them. A week ago I stopped receiving emails. Phoned technical support. They were hopeless. They suggested using another email client. WTH. I was logged into THEIR web email and could see I wasn't getting any emails. They then told me they couldn't investigate unless I provided my email password. This I did reluctantly. 2 days later the problem is still not resolved. They have never contact me. I'm just chasing them up. HOPELESS

I have malware on 3 sites that sit on their servers. They are slow at responding. Then didn't want to take responsibility and ONLY WANTED TO SELL ME MORE THINGS instead of responding to the issue properly. I still have 6 months left and I am leaving. I am not protected and my emails are constantly being spammed and used in spam/phishing attempts and they state that it's my issue and that my password is not strong enough. That I need to remove all of the spam from the servers but won't support this without $$.

Crazy Domains are one of the most infuriatingly bad service providers in the industry. No local support, nobody qualified to give any technical answers, service outage page never updated and I could go on and on and on about how bad this company is. When a Company tells you to just wait it out when your website and emails are down for days you know they have no idea what the issue is or how to fix it.

Purchased a domain without realising I needed an ABN. I am not prepared to get an ABN so I requested a refund. I requested this on the 15th of September and was requested to send a PIN, which I did. Since then crickets. Clearly their customer service is extremely poor. I gather my next complaint will be to the ACCC. So buyer beware this has been my experience so far.

Concerning lies
I rang customer service Monday as like everyone else my emails were not working. After being on hold the customer service person told me it was due to my AMEX details being out of date and I needed to update the details. I do not have an AMEX registered with CD. Eventually they admitted there was an outage. Asking for an update to an AMEX I don't have registered with them...really concerning. Will be moving to another service asap.
They will steal from you
Crazy Domains have charged me several times for products I did not ask for or want. They have a confusing web of check boxes that you need to get right or they think they have the right to take your money because of their "policy". It is extremely difficult to get a refund as they are clearly trained in avoiding giving them. This is a company that HATES ITS CUSTOMERS". Definitely go somewhere else.

It's been two and half days without emails, countless hours on hold and no ability yet, to do business and still I can't get action from Crazy Domains! Firstly no notification on social media (I imagine it would be one of the first places someone will go to find out what is going on), no phone message stating there was a problem just a message say " your call is import to us, you are progressing in the queue" - 1 hour and 46mins later, I hung up, and that was the 4th call! Finally today I was able to get through and was told I would receive a call back in a few minutes - 2.5hrs later, still waiting!!! Absolutely atrocious customer service!!!

Avoid this company if you want to keep your sanity
I’ve been with this company for six years and I’m time I’ve lost countless day with out email due to issues with there servers. The most recent I spent 2 1/2 hrs waiting on hold to speak to someone. In the last 3 days I’ve not had any out going email it keeps bouncing back and have spent over 7 hrs and 8 phone calls trying to resolve it. It’s still not working and I’ve had 3 phone calls from crazy domains trying to up sell me.

Emails have been down for 4 days, customer service is next to useless, 2 hours on hold today, they dont call back and dont respond to emails.
If you call their sales department you get straight through, but customer/technical service have to wait for hours.
Last year we were basically forced to update to their premium service and had to pay over $2500 extra for hosting, but still have problems.

I chose Crazy Domains as they were low priced and Australian.
But it is hard to do things as when you go to your products most items are a link to sell you something additional.
They have what could be a very useful product but they need to make it more user friendly and less about trying to sell add-ons. When I purchased my domain name it kept adding things to the cart and eventually I had to accept one just to check out.
I will say I contacted tech support and the person was excellent and I got on to them quickly. So that was a very big positive. So 5/5 for tech support!

Asked to alter my domain name I had only purchased the day before and they hid behind their no refund policy. Absolutely no customer service, unhelpful and would rather lose a customer for life than to offer good service. Sad.

Be careful dealing with Crazy Domains, their practices are extremely dodgy, and possibly illegal. They offer 'free' domains then start to charge you for them later, with the excuse that they emailed to say it would auto-renew and the customer didn't take action. DO NOT sign up up to them, or if you do, remove all auto-renews and do not have your credit card saved

I was hosting with Openhost who sold to Crazy Domain. When they moved my site, it was down and it was imposible to get anybody to help even though it wasn't a problem we created. It was a nightmare to get any answers from them. Finally somebody sorted it out but we lost 3 days of sales. Then out of nowhere six month later all our product images weren't there.
