Back Yard Service experience. My Advice take to a proper mechanic.
I called in for a transmission filter and oil flush, I was very specific & they checked over ph and said no problems. Picked up car, they had flushed via return hose to bottle, and sprayed highly corrosive hydraulic fluid all over the car, the car was dripping with water & stunk of hydraulic fluid. When I enquired he said they did their butt on it as far as time, and couldn't` find the filter( Kia Dealer?). Completely backyard mechanics. I can do change, but their is a very specific way to do an XM Sorento transmission change with computers etc...
Read more so I opted out just in case .Now I have to wait for my car to rust to pieces and maybe if it got onto paint, it will destroy our paintwork. I took it to them because I wanted a professional job done on my wife's car ,we got an inexperienced team ,to do what I have done on many vehicles in the past. Now its a ticking timebomb we brought this new, first car ever. Thanks Cricks you`ve hurt us financially down the line & shown us what car dealers you are (untrustworthy).PamSouth East Queensland, QLD

Quote given for selling my Fiat 500
I recently took my 2016 FIat 500 to Cricks in Noosa where I had originally purchased it from as new.
I was shocked when I was only offered 4000 dollars for them to sell it on for I suspect considerably more .
According to the Red book car guide 8,200 was what I was entitled to receive in regards to the current condition of the car .
I was offered 8000 dollars for it at another car dealership and would therefore like to know why I was offered such a insignificant amount by your company.
Thank you Pam White

Useless
Cricks were unable to find a aircon leak in my sons Subaru twice , initial visit they topped the a/c up and suggested I bring it back if it failed . Surprise , surprise it did fail and they then changed a valve which did not fix the leak. ( suspect they wanted to appear to do something ) Clearly made a booking for me to wait for car and it sat for a full hour in carpark untouched.
I rang to insist they fix the car and was told the aircon service unit is broken so in frustration took the car to a Noosaville aircon mechanic and he found a larg...

They can’t even get their name right - should be spelt CROOKS
This is the second time of buying from them. Only went back as they own half the dealerships within 50km so you’re stuck.
First issue, watch what they say and what they put on the contract. The two won’t necessarily agree. Unfortunately they keep you there for hours to wear you out so it’s easy to miss. We got our contact amended as we noticed before the calling off period and threatened to cancel the deal if they didn’t add the items they had missed by mistake.
Secondly watch out for them asking to massage the value of the trade in so that...
Read more their sales figures look better. The bottom line figure will be the same so you loose nothing. Problem is they offer say $1000 for trade in, write it up as $5000 and change the sale price of theirs accordingly. You pay the same so do you care. Not until you pay them the finance that is. At which point they can change the price they’ll pay for the trade in. You can’t cancel anything now as there’s finance penalties so you’re locked in and have to pay the difference. They may have a valid reason for changing the price, but because the contract has the inflated price, even if you take your trade in out of the contract, your left with a contract that has a higher price. This is why they drag out the sales process as long as possible so they get their money in the bank and you have no recourse. It’s only now you understand why it took them a week to send an invoice to the finance company. The figures are just examples to make it clear, we ended up loosing a few thousand this way, but unfortunately no proof, so can’t fix it. They did several other dodgy things, but these points might help you avoid not driving away mad. There’s nothing I can do to fix my situation, but hopefully this warning will make others think twice about trusting the verbally agreed and ensuring what is written on the contract is really what it should be. They’re good at being friendly so you trust them, just remember you owe them nothing so only sign for what you’re happy with as the contract is all that counts.Untrusted dealer -
This is the worst dealer I ever dealt with
I went to buy a 2016 VW Passat B8 Wagon -2016 model ( still not sold) at Cricks used cars Noosa (same location with Subaru) after negotiated over the phone ,two months ago.
As per the photos of this car in the Advertisement, I found that the parcel cover was missing and Salesperson Steve agreed with me to swap with another car in the sale( It was around $850/=).
Based on his promise I went there (from Brisbane to Noosa) . Once I reach
ed the dealership the sales person was not at the location as...
