Cudo is offering $10 store credit to their customers to encourage them to write a positive or negative review. It is possible that reviews were written by customers who received such a reward.
POOR EXPERIENCE No reply postage for wrong size clothing, confusion over Cudo and Catch Customer Service
No free reply postage for wrong size clothing inconsistent with industry standards (eg The Iconic).
Hassles in returning product - confusing emails from Cudo and Catch (need to consolide by using one brand name). Auspost return link not working so had to waste time on phone to Philipines and am now waiting for an escalation team response.
We won't be using catch or Cudo again and the whole experience is a blight on Westfarmers, its parent company

The process of ordering with Cudo is misleading. First you pay your money over to purchase your goods, you then must go to another site (the seller) & put your coupon number in to finalise your purchase only to find out then what the shipping charges are!! There is NO contact phone number for Cudo, no one answers the chat line to cancel the payment. Never again will I order through this convoluted method!
Cudo expects me to use dining credits during a Pandemic!
In the middle of a Pandemic, Cudo refuses to either refund my credits or allow me to use them for Cudo shopping. Instead I can only use them for “experiences”. Australia is in lockdown, with strict social distancing measures in place and Governments telling people to stay home, yet the only way I can retrieve my money is to purchase an experience which requires me to leave the safety of my home.
Terrible customer service
Purchased a pair of shoes.
They did not fit so a return was raised. This is when the problems started. CUDO approved the return and a link was sent which did not work and paperwork could not be printed and shoes can not be returned. Have spent the last 5 weeks and many hours emailing, messaging trying to get help and no result. Customer service is non existent.
Would never recommend Cudo to anyone.

First of all I actually will admit I didn't read the fine print properly. The fine print says max voucher is 2 but I bought 3 because I needed to buy for a birthday dinner for a restaurant.
When I emailed the restaurant to make the booking i told them the time and name to lock in the booking date and time. I also have them the voucher codes. I found it odd I did not receive a response to confirm they have received my message just to let me know it's been booked. 5 days later I decided to call the restaurant by phone to confirm the booking. Th...ey said they didn't receive any anything and asked for the time, name etc to lock in the booking. A little bit annoyed I went ahead and gave him my name, date I want to have the dinner and told him the voucher codes. I told them I will be booking for 6 people. He then told me unfortunately they can only book for 2 vouchers rather than 3. He told me I can book no more than 2 and use the other next time. But I said the whole point was for a birthday so removing two people from the dinner is 100% not on. I felt they were not even listening to my concerns..he only can reiterate the 2 vouchers policy. I asked for an exception in this case as it is a birthday and it would be much appreciated. Still he would not budge. I asked if I could speak to management for exception. The management was not available that evening and the person on the phone said he'll get the manager to call me the next day to discuss. I agreed and waited the next day. The next day came and I received no phone call. Increasingly annoyed already I called the restaurant and this time the owner answered the phone and I explained the situation with the birthday and really needed an exception. The owner again said no, because they would not be making any money. Isn't the whole point of using vouchers to advertise their products and services? Well clearly he already failed on the service and unwilling to listen. I felt no empathy either from this owner either. So I was left with no choice and actually wrote a negative review on this restaurant. Minutes later this owner called back and I answered. I thought we could actually discuss again but the first few seconds into the call he actually insulted me...and the moment I was insulted I immediately hung up. To be abused/insulted is unacceptable and untenable. Furthermore, this owner actually called again from his mobile and rejected the call. He then called from the restaurant landline and I had to reject again. I cannot believe a business, owner of the business, would actually to this far and be so reactive to my negative review if his restaurant. Anyway so with this going on it was obvious I was not going to go back to this restaurant ever and use the voucher. Based in what happened, I wanted a refund so I could use the funds to buy something else to make a booking for the birthday dinner. I chatted with Cudo customer service and told me they 'escalated' to the vendor to try and get the refund. In this chat I informed it will be two business days before I hear from Cudo. I also informed Cudo I was abused when I spoke to the owner. So Cudo is already informed of this. So Cudo should understand I shouldn't be going through it again, if im being 'listened' to. Now, three days later and still no word. I emailed Cudo and [name removed] actually replied back and said it has been 'escalated' to the vendor and that I should call the vendor to resolve it. When I saw this response, I was fuming. Did [name removed] not hear a single word I said??? I already informed [name removed] I got abused and insulted and I would not be going through it again. That is why I'm here. To inform others that Cudo will be extremely unwilling to help. When they can't help they resort to the 'terms and conditions' etc with no regard of the mitigating circumstances. I've always bought multiple vouchers before and never had a problem until this time. I did not expect to read the fine print and for this to affect me so much. I paid over a hundred dollars and now Cudo nor the restaurant will be giving me the money back. I'm here to tell others that Cudo actually does not listen and show no sympathy at all. Absolutely robotic. In this case [name removed] instructed me to call the vendor(restaurant) when I already informed [name removed] of the abuse. So please stay away from Cudo. I will be closing my account and will never return. I wish others stay away as well.
Postpone Bali holiday due to Caronavirus
I have been trying to ring and email Cudo for 3 days now regarding my holiday to Bali.
I have spent in excess of 6 hours on hold, only to be hung up on at around the 2 hour mark. I have sent 5 emails with zero response.
Every other booking I have made connected to this holiday, have responded promptly and allowed me to postpone. Cudo have caused me great distress by not having any response or contacts for this horrible coronavirus. A little bit of help during this outbreak would be greatly appreciated, people are losing a lot of money and they dont seem to care, as they are sticking to their refund/change of dates policy. None of us have the choice to postpone.
Can't claim voucher
Received a voucher from Cudo for Christmas. Just tried to book the restaurant and it's saying it has already been redeemed. No one picking up the phone at Cudo. I never buy vouchers from these types of companies because it's always been trouble trying to claim them and again this experience has proven why. Will never use again!
I purchased a voucher for a business that had already ended their association with Cudo. The voucher was worthless. To Cudo's credit, they did provide me with a refund. However I'm still unsure as to why the voucher was available in the first place.

Use Groupon and choose Cudo as the last choice
Customer service officer, [name removed] tone was quite ambiguous. Also there is no last name on email, don't even know if it's the real person name. She/he seems to encourage me to deactivate my account or leave Cudo after my case unresolved in my favour, a poor Cudo company having such a staff who is not even try to retain customers for them.

No response when there is a actual problem
Hi there. I presented customer service with an issue on store credits (money stored on my account for a period of time).
Originally they were very responsive with a couple emails going back and forth in a few minutes to identify the problem. The emails I received were templates to common issues, but mine seems not to be common. As soon as this was identified I heard nothing back. I have not been told they are looking into it. Just no response.
I have tried re-contacting the original Customer service agent. No response.

Unable to get a resolution/ nobody is listening
AwfuI experience. I booked a voucher for a cheese platter and wine. I have cancelled twice via the Cudo website (as online booking was available). I cancelled within the correct time frames state by Cudo. No one from Cudo has replied to my emails. It would be good to have a contact number, so I can get some assistance. Don't bother with this company. There are many others that provide good service and actually reply to their customers.

Vouchers are misleading, support is poor and don't provide refunds that meet their refund policy!
Bought a voucher for Austrian Beer Bar & Restaurant at Dee Why only to find that is only available between 11:30 and 2pm! yes this is well hidden in the terms and conditions but this is information is critical and should be stated in the voucher title or somewhere visible that this is for lunch only!!!
I asked for a refund based on their refund policy section 3.1.1 where I cannot meet the available booking times and this was refused after not responding to my emails for 5 days.

Not once, but twice
I've had an issue with my SCOOPON booking (apparently under the same umbrella as CUDO) - I arrived at the restaurant that I've booked for only to find out that it was permanently closed! Scoopon offered me a refund plus a $10 credit, but for some reason the store credit went towards my Cudo account. It took me 2 emails and 2 calls to try to request for a refund.
Anyway, to use up that $10 credit on my Cudo account, I booked a restaurant but the restaurant couldn't verify the QR code on my voucher. The restaurant charged us $120 for 2 people ...(we would've paid $60 less with our voucher), told us that we had to pay it in full, "contact Cudo and fix the problem first, come back to the restaurant to get a refund another day. The other option is to pay the $120 in full and then get Cudo to give you a refund." What kind of troubleshooting is that!? Why should the customers have to deal with this crap when the restaurant doesn't trust Cudo to pay them for the voucher? The phone number on the Cudo voucher didn't work so I had to search on Google for Scoopon's customer service number. After half an hour of arguing over the counter and over the phone, I came up with the idea and asked the cashier to scan the QR using the SCOOPON app (note: the voucher is a Cudo voucher!) and guess what - it worked! I won't be recommending CUDO nor SCOOPON to anybody. Stay away!!!
I purchased 2 dinner vouchers and they made a mistake which happens. However, the terrible customer service I received trying to sort it out was appalling. Even last week I tried to contact them again about my credits and they still do not reply. I would not recommend as Groupon and scoopon give great customer service

CUDO, I have purchased an experience deal for Eassa Day Spa on 13th Sept. I called Eassa on 14th Sept to book and they refused to honour Cudo voucher and told me to go get a refund. I know this is not Cudo's problem, but I have contacted Cudo 3 times via website and email from 14th Sept and no response. I see Cudo is still advertising this deal (Eassa say they cancelled) and I see the same deal is offered on other websites (ie Groupon, Deal of the Day). I would appreciate a refund please.

I've been using Cudo for several year with no problems but recently had an issue redeeming a $99 voucher. I have sent 3 messages via the Cudo website and one via Messenger over the past 3 weeks to explain the problem and get a refund on my voucher. But I have not heard ANYTHING back, not even to acknowledge my messages (except an automated reply on Messenger). I've now started a Disputed Transaction complaint process with my bank to recover my money. Very disappointed with the (lack of) customer service from Cudo!
Did you message ‘Customer Service’ via their site and go to the particular transaction via ‘My account’, I.e., your account. I got a prompt response same day apart from the immediate automated one.

I had a similar situation with Cudo. No response to emails so found a phone number and was given very good service by the consultant. No refund but a credit to spend within 12 months.
This is the third time I have tied to contact Cudo regarding a cancelled booking due to covid lockdown.
