Has been a good grinder
Have had my Cuisinart conical burr coffee grinder for 2 and a half years and is used several times every day. Has worked well and on the finest grind is suitable for my Gaggia coffee machine. My only criticism is it is messy with static & coffee grains sticking to the plastic catcher. Its also quite noisy. My grinder recently stopped working but was still under 3 years warranty. After a quick phone call a replacement was sent after filling in a form & sending a photo of it. Very impressed with their customer service.
Beware! this product will not grind fine enough for espresso coffee
My conical burr sunbeam had got a bit tired so decided to buy new coffee grinder. Had noticed the Cuisinart conical burr mill for a reasonable price and based on other Cuisinart products made the decision to purchase one. I have had the grinder for a week and it works just fine, except it will not grind fine enough for my Faema E98 compact espresso machine and I suspect a number of other purchasers are having a similar problem. Even overfilling the basket and throwing all my weight down on the tamp will give a shot of 35 ml in about 10 seconds ...instead of 20/27 sec. So unless I can find some info about internal adjustment to overcome the problem I will sell the Cuisinart and buy a Rancillio Rocky which I should have purchased in the first instant. Did not perform the function for which it was designed
