Failed to deliver correct Chairs and Table leg scratched.
Very unpleasant experience and poor customer service. I purchased a Dining Table and ten chairs from Custom Design at Hills Super Centre in September 2020. I’m told there is a 6-8 week wait. After 6 weeks I am delivered my table and ten ‘loan chairs’. These chairs are both different model and stain. I notice that the table leg is scratched and I'm told they will fix it when my chairs are swapped out. Fine, I accept this. Fast forward to February 2021 and the scratch is repaired and my chairs get replaced. But they are the wrong model. Different...to what I requested. Another few days go by while they try to get the chairs I ordered and now I'm told that the chairs I chose are no longer available, discontinued. I had the option for a full refund and return the furniture within the week. So am I supposed to sit on the floor while I wait another 8 weeks? Very inconsiderate, dishonest and no empathy to the customers expectations. Would have been nice to know when furniture is discontinued BEFORE you sell it. Would have saved me a lot of hassle and anguish.
The worst product ever
We purchased the attached sofa 6 months ago, within 2 months it sunk and left our a-s marks on it. Contacted [name removed] and was advised we could have a replacement (but the manufacturer stated we would be in the same position 6 months down the track) or we could upgrade, AT OUR COST, a former foam. We wanted to support an Australian company but have been truly disappointed in this company.
Dining room table - stained colour nothing like showroom
Bought a dining room table, and the colour is nothing likE we went through in store. I spent thousands of dollars on this table and dislike the colour so much. I now put table cloths to hide the true colour of table. Such a disappointment. I went back to store, and had an argument, as nothing like showroom pieces, or what we described but he said it looked good, and was told will probably need to pay more to re stain. Spent so much money already and can’t afford to pay more, so now have to live with it.

Jayne at Moore Park works hard to get the sale and once done she doesn't want to know about you especially if something gets wrong with the furniture. Be careful when customising the furniture you see in store. While sales people would be happy to sell additional features, they'll do nothing to rectify issues if such features significantly affect comfort (even though sales have deceptively withheld that information from you).
In our case the sofa bed we received was higher and shallower in depth compared to the sofa displayed in the store,...back cushions were also shorter. Overall, the lounge we've got was quite uncomfortable compared to the one we saw in store and based on which we made the purchase. When I contacted Jayne, she had no intention of helping to resolve this situation even though it was her fault of not warning us that installation of bed is likely to affect height and depth. Her response was "nothing can be done". When I insisted, Jayne promised to discuss our situation with the manager Anthony and contact us ASAP. Haven't received a word from her in more than a week, we went to the store to check how the things are traveling. Anthony did not seem to be very keen to help us either, however, he promised that some other person will come and take a look at the lounge. Needless to say that no-one turned up. More than a month since they promised to send someone and neither Jayne nor Anthony bothered to follow up with us. Now using the lounge for about two months I noticed that one seat cushion started sagging, perhaps because the foam was not evenly cut. Given Jayne's attitude towards their customers, I'm very reluctant to raise these issues with her and her boss - it's simply waste of my time. It's particularly disappointing because they knew I'm pregnant and want to have these issues sorted soon.

BEWARE of a "custom design" order actually being done correctly.
We purchased a 'Boston style' loungeroom set at Custom Designs Moore Park store in September 2017.
IT HAS TAKEN 7 MONTHS to have all of our furniture delivered!!
Satisfactory service initially, however when the 'Custom made' display cabinets arrived they had not been made as per order. The incorrect cabinet doors were taken away to be corrected as per the original order.
The doors were returned correctly made but damaged.
The doors were then returned incorrectly stained on 3 separate occasions and did not match the rest of the furniture. ...
