Look for a crack in the casing inside the unit. That’s what happened to ours.

3 Phase Standard Inverter

What is the advantage with using 3 phase over single phase? We are looking at replacing our broken 3 phase unit with a FDYQN125LA which is single phase. The sizing is correct but is a single phase powering system as economical and efficient as a 3 Phase?

From my research, for the same cooling capacity a three phase air conditioner uses less power than a single phase air conditioner. As I already had three phase to my house I chose a three phase air conditioner. It maybe worth comparing purchase cost of each, if single phase is not significantly cheaper, choose the three phase unit.
