I accidentally bought two blocks of this alleged cheese at Woolworths in Tuncurry because they were stuck together and I thought I was buying a kilo. On tasting it, this is only alleged cheese, it's something like a Colby but more like wax with a slight cheese flavour. Awful. I persevered with the first block but threw it away half way… Read more

through and also threw out the remaining 500g block. I often choose NZ dairy as it's generally of high quality but this stuff is appalling.

Nasty.

DAIRYWORKS NEW Zealand cheese sliced . Do not buy this cheese . I went away from the other brands to try it . It moulds very quickly. Even when you put it in an air tight container. Terrible. The reason I’m putting this up is because this is the second batch I’ve purchased and it’s gone mouldy. Show details

Worst cheese ive ever eaten-stop wasting people's money – I have left maybe a handful of reviews in my life..these packets of cheese are so bad I had to look this up & comment. They are tasteless like plastic almost- as soon as you open the packet the slices start drying out. You need to not be feeding people this.

Not as bad as other reviews – First time I purchased this cheese in the sliced variety. I think it's a niceish tasting cheese. Not the best I've had but not the worst. I only ever eat tasty cheese. The slices are to thin. Probably won't purchase this cheese again as its thinly sliced and needs a bit more bite.

So what are the Local and imported ingredients ? Horrible cheese – NZ Products can say NZ made even if they contain imported products from say China . Yet the product states 'Made from local and imported products" Seeing cheese is Milk and Rennet , WHAT part is imported ? Is the milk / Milk powder from China ? Show details

Great cheese.good flavour – Kids love it ...slice is thin and taste crisp . Recommend this cheese . It is certainly better than cheer cheese . Pricing is very competitive compared to Australian brands . In this lockdown any foreign brand is welcome.

Not nice cheese – I purchase this cheese from Coles but got tricked by the similar branding as Bega cheese. Realised when I got home and thought I’m not taking it back but quickly realised when opening the pack that You Need 2 slices as they are so thin. Has a real plastic chemical processed type of flavour that is not good. I checked the use by date and it wasn’t out but didn’t taste like cheese. Definitely won’t buy this brand again.  Show details

Not a tasty cheese – I purchased a block of tasty cheese of dairyworks cheese. Its unfortunately not full bodied as described in a slogan on the packet. It's rubbery , tasteless and after eating it it leaves a powdery taste like dry scones.
