Disappointed with life expectancy of machine!
Bought this machine late 2016 for my Sunday afternoon coffee fix until this past weekend when the machine didn’t want to pull the milk from the container. Ran through the maintenance program and after no change, called Nespresso. Very friendly and helpful specialist decided I needed a new milk tube which arrived today in the post. Sadly no change however so I called Nespresso again. After a further factory reset and water hardness adjustment, the specialist diagnosed the problem being the pump. My machine is out of warranty but after 4 years of...light use (Weekends only two coffees) and following the maintenance program, I’m a bit disappointed that I’m up for buying a new $500 machine (which to be fair Nespresso has offered me an out of warranty discount on) or send it off for repair at my expense. This means approx $120 a year for a machine is really expensive! Might as well buy a cheaper machine throw away and use their capsules.

Extremely disappointed with the new machine and Delonghi
After having the previous model that exceeded all my expectations, I purchased the new model. What a disappointment, it was constantly asking to be descaled and the milk would not froth and would only ooze steam. This machine was maintained exactly to manufacturers specifications. Delonghi were contacted and we were given instructions which we completed and did not work. When we called back we were hung up on. Extremely poor service. Took machine back to the Good Guys where the machine was purchased and it had to be sent for a repair which takes 2 weeks. Not good enough for a new machine.

Not hot enough
Coffee is not hot enough - just warm. Needs to be microwave for 20 sec. to heat up to acceptable level.
The coffee itself is really good (Nespresso pods)
All things considered, I am VERY disappointed.
Only positive thing is that it is quick.

Know better, choose better.
We have had versions of this machine including the previous model for many years. However about 12 months ago we got this new model. Within weeks the descale light came on so we went through the cleaning process a couple of times, but that didn’t fix it. So after speaking to Nespresso, They advised to reset the machine, but it just came back on. We let it go, but a month or so later the milk stopped working properly. It would just splutter. After a fair bit of complaining Harvey Norman reluctantly agreed to replace it. Only 3 weeks later the ne...w machine had the same problem. So went back to HN, but they didn’t help, spoke to Nespresso and they replaced the machine. Now 4 weeks later our third machine in 1 year is doing the same thing. Clearly there is a problem with this model.

Poor performance from Nespresso don't care and still don't care
Makes a great espresso,but I like my latte ,we have had two machines now and constantly sending off to be repaired, they finally replaced the machine ,and half a dooven coffees bang the milk frothed cactus ,rang the service centre and was told to do the reset process , didn't work ,and was told that it was our problem, so in my opinion Nespresso needs to pull up there socks ,when you spend hard earn on a product that is recommended by Harvey Norman,only to be let down.we live remote and we just can't drop in with the machine to get fixed,three to four week turn around,sorry Nespresso but you are in the three P.'s now .

It is convenient and quick to use, loved it the first couple of months but not the best quality product or most positive user experience standing a short test of time.
In less than a year the machine itself has one coffee setting that continually fails and the milk frothier never measures according to what has been set. Descaling is fiddly and a pain. Also the capsule catcher compartment cover keeps coming off. The factory reset now won't work at all.
Nespresso coffee isn't that great, even the strong blends are weak but luckily there ...is other brands with really decent coffee compatible with the machine that are also much cheaper available in most supermarkets. The buying process for Nespresso coffee is also a bit of a nightmare, a self serve production line at the store and the delivery service never seems to arrive within the agreed time-frame. Completely over engineered and impersonal - exactly the opposite of what enjoying the simplicity of a good cup of coffee should be. The card captures your information but offers no loyalty discounts of bonus for buying nespresso coffee so its just an extra pointless step and awkward thing to have to pull out and juggle full hands with no benefit. Customer service staff are very sensitive to feedback.

Milk froather want work and orange descaling want turn off
I had an issue with a faulty milk frother. I contacted Delonghi whose reply was "sorry to hear contact Nespresso". I took the faulty appliance back to the Good Guys who arranged a repair. This took only about seven days and it is now working well. I have had no issue with the descaling light.
