Worst experience ever
We are a 3rd generation Delonghi owner so until now we have been very satisfied. When our La Specialista quit working after just 3 months I called the customer service dept. and after a video call the technician told me they would either replace or repair the machine. Then I get an email telling me they were going to replace the machine and I needed to cut the cord, take a picture and email it to them, and throw away the machine. I still had the box at that time. I tossed the box and put the machine in the back of my pick up to take to the dump...and emailed them the picture as I had been told to do. By now we have been without a coffee machine for almost 2 weeks. They finally call me and and ask if I had disposed of the machine when I thought that there should have been a machine already coming to us. I was honest and told the gentleman that it was still in the back of my pickup. Now they want me to return the machine for repair. I am a contractor so the machine has been banging around in the back of my pickup for 4 days and I don't have a box to ship it in. They want it shipped in their box so now we are waiting to get that before we can get the machine repaired. When we get the box in a week and then it takes another 2 weeks to ship it back to Philadelphia and get it repaired that will make the time that we are without a coffee maker about 45 days. That has to be the worst customer service I have ever dealt with in my life.
Very dis'appointed , from Delonghi I was expecting better service
Hi I own 5 of DELONGHI Primadonna de luxe, and for the monies you pay I was expecting better Machine and better service, none of the 5 machines work properly, every coffee different dose, coffee beans holder very bad designer, few different fault, like INSERT INFUSER ASSEMBLY, this came up after only 300 coffee.
and so on, never buy DELONGHI again I would not recommend to anyone, bad service and expensive parts. I like to contact Delonghi in Italy see what they saying.
Painful returns policy
Brought a kettle online for the office powerbutton stopped staying down, to be fair Delonghi have simply joined the cheap tat market, a brand that used to have class is just another Kmart kettle, anyways returns as I brought directly online meant no collection a half hour drive and then told 2 weeks to fix! Some outfit called Service Sphere, North Melbourne, like walking into a junk shop, so guy advice if you have to buy this brand go retail, at least it's a simple swap out when it breaks not a 2 to 3 weeks without a kettle and no collection even though deliverd faulty, poor form Delonghi poor form.
DeLong and short of it
Disappointed our beautiful looking copper coloured DeLonghi kettle has bitten the dust. Leaking everywhere and tripping out electric - had since mid 2018 but for the price expect to last way longer. Should have gone to Kmart or Target. Won’t be buying again! Buyers beware
Products don't last. Not worth purchasing.
Bought a Lattissima coffee machine 2017 for $370. One person household not used everyday. Product stopped working 2020, 1 month outside the 'gold's warranty service. Not willing to even look at the issue. Was told its 'reasonable' for a $300 Product to last just 3 years (meaning $100 per year on a coffee machine). Won't be purchasing a delonghi again.
0 star. Delonghi-manufactured Nespresso machines are useless and will not abide by Australian consumer law.
- Lattisima One milk frother broke down three times one year into usage.
- Had to jump through hoops, from waiting for milk frother replacement, to doing descaling with just water, to sending back to bravo for repair and then, to waiting for a replacement.
- Delonghi as a manufacturer refused to let Nespresso/retail store refund the product, stating that it’s more than 6 months. No one ever came up with the 6 months figure. If I knew that, I wouldn’t have bought it.
- The reasonable amount of time for warranty for a $300 machine is two years...
delanghi coffee machine
The machine was fine until I did a de-scale and then it started leaking. Could get no customer service despite the on line help (no help at all). I even told them about the button going from Green to indicate it needed a de-scale- and you wont believe this- they directed me immediately to an electrician. OMG So bad, avoid this brand if your ever looking for a coffee machine. This one was $260 and now I cant use it, the $45 Aldi brand is still going strong.
Waiting too De-LONGhi for any help...
Bought a Delonghi Freestanding Oven from Bing Lee 2 weeks ago (who looked after us well). Oven connected up by very professional electrician and to prove power connected the gas igniters work, however the clock and oven did not - meaning there is some issue or fault.
Web Searched and Called Delonghi Australia as why wouldn't you - they are the brand aren't they???
Waited on hold 40 mins to then get some vague chick who heard what the issue was and then asked to put me on hold and I went on hold another 45 minutes??? So I hung up on that rub...bish. and emailed then a recap of the issue. Had to laugh that they also trotted out the gold poop standard for poor company service this year >> Covid-19 has caused us delays, NOPE not after 9 months. If you're still having issues, sack your Australian Management they suck if they haven't sorted this after so long... There is NO Covid-19 excuse any more. The email response, 5 days later:

I've repaired quite a few DeLonghi's from Manual to Fully Automatics.
There build Quality is Exceptional, and they look pretty, but for producing good Coffee they're absolutely hopeless. Why do they insist with these stupid Steam Wand designs, none of them work. You either end up milk Jug half full of water or it's got more air bubbles than a bottle of Coke you dropped on the counter. Drinking a Coffee full of huge air bubbles is NOT very pleasant to drink. Secondly, no matter what you do, even heating the Cups to Red HOT, you still only get a Luke Warm Cappuccino.
DeLonghi just make very well made rubbish.
About to lose another customer
Wow, reading all the reviews below & that DeLonghi seems to have given up even trying to respond, that's a big red warning not to buy any of their products or sub-brand products ever again. Worse than that, DeLonghi seems to ignore it's business partners as well.

I purchased coffee machine la specialista just 4 months ago and it has a problem (suddenly stop during make coffee or blown power fuse)
I called customer service and they said don't use that because of safety issue. now after tow days that I haven't my coffee machine they didn't do anything and it seems I haven't it more than 2 weeks.I think why I pay for a product that after just 4 months should go for a repair arrangement? I really disappointed with this company and product.
Terrible customer service
50 minutes on the phone most of it spent on hold and my problem is not solved. They couldn't even give me my local authorised service centre. Dreadful customer service.
Purchased a Delonghi Oven and after paying a good price of $1080 dollars, for this small oven it has lasted a total of 25 months. Not happy considering our last oven with same brand lasted 14 years ‘not months’ One month out of warranty Paul D.

I hope this helps anyone considering buying Delonghi products. I have owned a Delonghi oven for 4yrs and every year it has had to have to have its multi switch replaced. At least it has been replaced under warranty, but you would think after the second time it happened that they would either offer a replacement or refund. Secondly I brought a Delonghi fully automatic coffee machine thinking the issues were possibly just the oven but sadly I only had the Machine 3 months before it was sent off for warranty repairs. Luckily this time instead of c...ontacting Delonghi directly I went through Bing Lee as when I got the machine back it broke down again 3 months later, I took it back to Bing lee and they replaced it on the spot with a Breville. As of today I am waiting for the oven to break down again because I know it will and it will the same issue again.
Almost 4 months since i registered online for the Promo Gift of La Especialista coffee machine. Until up to now never heard of any update if there is coming delivery.. What a S C A M M E R company. I will never buy again a delongi product.
Breville is way better.
Overpriced useless product and worst ever customer service
third oil heater that I am having replaced, customer service refused to help. very arrogant woman date and time 1.30pm on 1/7/2020. I would not recommend this product to anyone

Waiting almost 3 months for response on warranty!
Have been trying to get my portable air con fixed/replaced as the inside is rusted due to condensation. Was told this is normal due to the design of the air con. I should not have to deal with rust due to poor design. Have stopped using as am worried it will cause a safety issue. Only purchased 5.11.2018 used it for 2 summers to realise after the last it’s no good. Would not recommend to others as it’s not a reliable product or customer service, especially when they are charging twice compared to other brands.
Was told by sale person i would get cups coffee and other item from delongi, only for delongi to change mind i mean sale person and promotion was on coffe machine so not me and say no would not have got it fair trading australia taking action will not buy off them again i say every 1 return unit
I bought coffee machine the salesperson said I will get a promotion pack of coffee and cups vi Redemption, and also had a pamphlet saying the same thing, Delonghi would not honour this promotion, and the customer service was very poor would not touch their products ever again
