Dewalt DCMW564N Cordless Mower
Reviewer Photos & Videos
heavy duty
This is a cordless mower that is built like a 2 stroke. it has a metal body and heavy construction. for the money it is comparative to other higher end brands that are commonly available that have more lightweight plastic body etc. it really needs the higher amp batteries if you have a fair bit of lawn. the body sits low and will drag on the grass on the lower settings, so it cuts the grass a little higher than you may be used to (but that is meant to be how grass is cut). mine just stopped after a month and the retailer simply gave me a credit to buy another brans as this one has been 'deleted' (?). This is a shame if it has warrantee issues.

works perfect
I have brought this mower last week and couldn't be more happier
I do have large corner block and it does it without any issues
As I had my black and decker 4 stroke lawn mower for over 25 years and ad I am getting older this is so perfect and easy to operate compared to my old mower
would definitely recommend it

Works well
I bought this mower because I already have Dewalt Batteries.
A few months of having it now and I'm pretty happy with it for my needs.
I have used the mower for both cutting grass and mulching leaves which have both been successful.
The mower does tend to get bogged down and stalled quite easily and it's fairly power hungry on the batteries but fortunately for me I have a reasonably small property to maintain.
I have been using the 2x 6ah flexvold batteries that came in the kit I bought from TotalTools and they have more than enough power...

As far as battery powered lawn mowers go, it is about on par with other mowers out there for price but if I wasn't tied to Dewalt batteries already I probably would have considered the Makita or Ego mowers.Purchased in June 2020 at Total Tools for $800.00.

Exceeded expectations
My experience has been the complete opposite to the below review. I bought this to replace a Briggs and Stratton 4-stroke and this is way better. It doesn’t bog down, even in grass that is about 30cm long. It holds constant rpm and the tone doesn’t even change. With long damp grass it does get caught between the choke point of the deck and bag however but that always happens with any catcher mower I have had. In actual fact this handles wet grass much better than any other mower I have had. I have not timed the runtime but it lasts for quite a ...
Read morewhile with 2x 6ah. I can almost cut all my lawns (700m2 property with standard 4bd house) twice before it runs out where as the Briggs and Stratton I will have to refill the tank at least once to mow the whole lawn. When I tested this the first mow I was cutting grass up to 30cm in areas. It seems to cut about two to three times as fast because it has a wider blade, doesn’t bog down when pushing fast, catcher holds more grass and is easier to push. I have only one minor negative and that is that you have to make sure not to pinch the wire when folding the handle down for storage but this is so minor. That is the only negative. I am very impressed. In addition to this you don’t have to pull start it, it’s so quiet and no petrol smells or carbon monoxide poisoning lol.Purchased in February 2020 at Bunnings Warehouse for $759.00.

Dewalt Mower. Spend your money on something else
In short, grass wins the fight. It can’t be to long, to wet, and don’t think about cutting near an edge. And don’t get me started with bad design.
We have purchased the dewalt cordless mover as all my power tools at home are dewalt. As for the tools they are fantastic, and thought this would flow through to the mower. Overall this mower has been the biggest disappointment purchase I’ve made for a while.
Issues in summary are:
The grass can’t be too long as the blade won’t turn.
You need to cut a larger area when doing the edges, as the mower bl...

Hi guys, does anyone know what's the difference between DCMW564 and DCMW564_N_? I got one DCMW564 coming with 2 segments of handle and connected with bolts. The annoying thing is that the handle isn't level. Is that the old model?
