Can anyone give me some information on the general effectiveness of theDimple DCSS18 split system, Should I have it installed or should I burn it?

The issue i have found with our dimplex vs the fujitsu of the same size, cooling the same area (large room with one aircon either side) .... the fujitsu seems to step down and modulate to different power levels more efficiently as temps get to the correct levels... it also runs a lot quieter...
the dimplex seems to want to run at full-noise all the time then shut itself off then kick back into full noise again.... haven't done actual power level testing ( maybe the dimplex is just crap and noisey ) but my thoughts are it's drawing far more power overall than the fujitsu.... Both were bought at the same time, both pump around the same actual coldness/volume though, the fujitsu is just far smarter, quieter and the build quality is no comparison... personally will never buy dimplex again
