to track down this parcel, not talk about something else. On calling again, there was no answer. I emailed to both attempt to track down my parcel and ascertain what went wrong with the phone call. The reply maintained that I had raised my voice and so the employee had hung up on me, that elsewhere on their website it indicated that postage would not request a signature, regardless of option chosen and they would not be speaking with me further. On enquiry for my own education, they stated that no recording could be sent as they do not record calls. My interpretation of this is that they just hang up to queries they don't like, and call it "you yelled at me". Meanwhile, Aus Post will give me $100 compensation but I still have no meds and have had to go elsewhere and spend another $1,200.
Been ordering heartworm along with flee-tic med from Discount Pet Meds for the last five years. Only once has my order taken 4 or more weeks, normally I'll receive it about 10-14 days. Paid for meditation that was never shipped. On inquiry I was informed a script was required though previous script sent was still valid for 3 months. Pathetic and non existence customer service. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS.
Postage costs scam – I ordered a 32ml bottle of Metacam for my dog. Price quoted was $23.99. They charged $30.14 for shipping to metropolitan Melbourne!
Would recommend – I regularly order cardiac medications from Discount Pet Meds. Once I ordered online and was charged courier delivery, I contacted them via email and the same day had a response that they would refund. Shipping is always within ten days, normally within a week. Great Services and pricing—- a money saver – We order Meds of our furry friends from the Vet, then got online and found Discount Pet Meds and checked them out on availability and price and discovered the prices were about a third of Vet prices. Ie Vet price Pexion $156.70 - Discount Pets online $$59.99 plus postage $10.82, delivery was 1 week or less.
Outstanding service – My older Labrador requires gabapentin three times a day, however, the price most vets charge is becoming prohibitive. I tried Discount Pet Meds. If you want a lot of hassle with many phone calls & emails chasing prescriptions and orders choose discount pet meds!! – They tell you there's no prescription for your order. Vets calls and they are told there is a prescription. Then you call again to ask where your dogs medication is being sent to be told (again they can't find any prescription on file)..This has happened on 3 seperate occasions. as a customer you go round in circles. My wet will not issue paper prescriptions to animal owner due to some people falsifying the scripts so will only send them direct to pharmacy companies. You would think it would be foolproof but you'd be wrong..last order sent today but no doubt they will close until Jan 2.

Pimobendan -price charged $42.74 - with the price from another online pet pharmacy ($57.95) for the same quantity, I thought it was an excellent discount. However, when $USD42.74 is converted, it becomes $67.20 (today's exchange rate). Why is a company with a .com.au, "Australian owned and operated pharmacy" charging in $USD? I cannot see a disclaimer on the site anywhere that draws the consumers' attention to this fact. I find this very deceptive.

I later rang the direct Sydney number and received an automated recording, no mention of the company name, which said just to leave a message. I sent on other email requesting a refund. No reply. I rang again. No answer. Two months since my first email. Effectively, Discount Pedmeds has simply taken my money.

on the 15th June 2023, as requested to the requested email address. I emailed them on the 19th June 2023, requesting an update, no response. I called them today (21st June 2023) and spoke to a CSO who asked for my order number provided it, and was told that they are waiting for a script. Advised that it was emailed on the 15th June 2023. I was promptly told oh yes we have that script, your order will be processed, soon. I asked why my order has not been processed and was told "we don't check that email very often". I then asked why would you ask me to send an email to an address that you don't check daily, to which I was told that they are "very short staffed" I expressed my concern about being asked to email an account that is not reviewed, in which I got no reply. I advised the CSO that my dogs life depends on this medication which I'm nearly out of because I have been waiting for 7days for the order to be processed. The response I got was "so". This was a lie on my part I still have two weeks supply. Anyway I stated that the order will be processed and shipped today right, I got a tart yes, and hung up on. From my email the order has been shipped. Will not shop with this company again.

Terrible customer service and they took my money for items they no longer sell – I was emailed advising the prescription on file was not sufficient so I had to get a new one, so I emailed back 30/1 asking if they were going to refund my order or wait for a new prescription. a staff member re whether I should use my new prescription for my original order or cancel that and make a new order, and the staff member let me decide to make a new order without telling me anything about a $4.99 processing fee if I cancelled my original order, as would have been appropriate to let me know, so I didn't get a full refund. I then rang the number for 'Ed' who commented on a negative review I left them (see his comment copied below) to discuss my negative experience with him, left a voice message with my number when he didn't answer, but have never heard back from him and after waiting 10 days now know I never will. What a waste of my time and he's obviously not interested in ensuring I as a customer have a good experience at all! Not happy at all with the terrible customer service and losing $5 just because their staff failed to tell me that would happen, and so unnecessary given I could've just sent the new prescription and they processed my original order. And note when Ed wrote they'd emailed me twice - yes they did, but only after I called them to say I'd never received any response to my email which Ed doesn't bother to mention. Both emails were re the refund, with one advising I'd be losing $4.99 because their staff member didn't bother to tell me about the fees if I cancelled my order and that it would've been wisest financially just to send in my new prescription and keep the original order. I also then discovered looking at my partially refunded invoice for my original order, that when I made my original order I clicked on their 're-order' option given I'd bought medication from them once before, and didn't notice the tiny writing under 2 of the items in my cart - the postage paid envelope and for insurance - saying these options were no longer for sale so they couldn't be re-purchased, but I obviously was able to purchase them doing a 're-order'! So that was obviously money wasted and if I hadn't already got a refund I would've had to follow up them refunding that. Entirely unsatisfactory experience all round which I could've discussed with their director to possibly reach a satisfactory resolution, but he ignored my voice message. My order was for critical heart medication for my dog, but this business will take your money then not even respond to emails in a timely fashion so they appear to not care very much about their customers or their pets. 99% of orders are dispatched on the same day as purchased but this is definitely not the case as I have waited now for 4 business days and still nothing. There is something wrong with this business like they have closed down and don't care. I cannot get anyone from Discount Pet Meds to respond to any VM or email and I am desperate for the medication for my very ill dog.
