This is a scam! Buy $1500 (supposedly worth $1700 in travel credits)and only allowed to use 11 travel points
Lots of additional fees in order to not lose what you have spent already! Threats of losing what you have spent unless you pay further fees. Promises that they will match any other deal. Exhausting process and appalling response. Fair trading will sort this out if we don’t get a refund

This is so not worth it do not join under any circumstances
I joined this before Covid and paid over 1000 do not pay for so called dollars it’s a joke.
It has turned into a nightmare we would never recommend to anyone DO NOT JOIN

I have been speaking with multiple people who have been unable to help. I am feeling like this whole thing is a scam. Currently have 3 cruises booked but haven’t been able to rectify my voucher issue....

Very disappointed with a phone call that was made to my client. Lady over the phone pressuring for a sale despite being told several times not the right time, not financially viable and made clear he was on a disability pension.
He said to a different lady previously he needs time to think (this lady was good) which this new lady did not respect at all and was pressuring him to spend $1000 over the phone without having that time to think.
This makes the company very scammy and that they prey on people who are vulnerable.

Happy to take my money, but when COVID hit, not happy to refund anything at all - bad news!
Booked and paid for out TASMANIA holiday, then COVID hit, so had to cancel everything. Was told one lie after another lie, however, fought with QLD fair trading to look into this scam, however, lost our monies for some accommodation, but did receive a small portion for other accommodation. Deceptive sales tactics
Like many others who have reviewed Discover365, I purchased this product for $1000 with the understanding that I would be able to use my “Discovery Dollars” towards holidays for my family. I remember the phone conversation clearly. How very disappointing that you can often only use the “Discovery Dollars” for 5% off the total amount.

Narrative:
Being a veteran of ADF, I was entitled to a discounted membership through a partner company (APOD).
I created a membership and booked a cruise. I then proceeded to recommend 10 others to use the Agency as they seemed alright and helpful.
This seemed to go well until COVID came along and ruined the plans. Agency did what they could to reschedule.

The salesperson on the phone - in short - convinced me to buy into a promotion. The promotion; if I pay $449, the discover dollars and the membership that had expired will be reinstated and another $2000 discover dollars would be added to my account. I mentioned that I take max 1 holiday per year and that I was expecting a child in the following year (therefore not being able to use residual $DD). The salesperson said that 60% of your holiday could have Discover Dollars applied (so a great ROI on my first trip). 1 month later: I try and book a holiday through the website, and after some difficulty finding an appropriate deal, I reached out to the online chat service. I've already tried that. Your representative did a very bad job at resolving my issues. That's why I went above and beyond to submit a complaint and raise a review.

This is a scam
The product is not disclosed as it actually is. Whilst "discovery dollars" are equal to an actual dollar, they only give you small discounts to your travel plans you are not able to use them to pay for an entire experience. For example, a 7 night accommodation package might be listed as $700 per person, you can only use $100 discovery dollars to reduce the price to $600 per person.

Feeling totally ripped off
Was sold this certificate at the beginning of the pandemic in Australia and expected that as no cruising was happening that when cruising was again available, that I would be able to use my certificate. Have just got on to have a look and my certificate has expired. Unfortunately I have made the mistake of also purchasing 365 rewards through this same company that told me my 241 certificate would be extended. That did not happen. Scam - Do not get involved with this company
Transferred my membership from 241 Rewards at additional cost of $699 and changed our minds within the grace period. I have sent emails and left phone messages and no one will reply. and now it looks like the phones are not connected. Friends recommended 241 and we should not have transferred the membership. This is a scam.

Advertising Deception
I asked for a quote on some accommodation and the discount given to me , even with my travel dollars applied could not match the price I could get elsewhere and they were only prepared to match the price. Also no cancellations were allowed.
I paid a decent membership fee to be in this. What an absolute rip-off.
