Already paid for internet and received a message saying that it’s activated... which is not...
Very unprofessional customer service...Received the modem, but the company has taken several days to set up my NBN, and it still hasn’t happen. Additionally, while I was waiting to hear back about my NBN, customer service representatives constantly ask me if I want to bundle my phone , gas or electricity....... they are ignoring my problems....
Avoid Dodo. Modem is junk
We joined Dodo from Telstra 01/09/2020 and our internet has been dropping out numerous times per day. We have had a local computer "network engineer" come out at our expense and he has confirmed it's their modem, nothing wrong with NBN, just their junk modem. They sent a replacement modem, but just re-connecting all devices to it will take me hours. And the computer person we got said not to bother, Dodo modems are junk. Save yourself the bother, do not choose Dodo just to save $10 a month, not worth the effort.
Worst company AVOID THEM
We joined dodo last month and from the beginning up until now we have had no internet so we are paying for internet we haven't even used. They told us it's the modem and that it was broken after having technicians out to check the house and the lines in town and then had our modem replaced. This one is also broken. We will not be getting another potentially broken modem and now will have to find a new internet provider since this one has been nothing but a hassle from the beginning. Avoid them and go with someone more reliable that has modems that aren't busted
Very bad customer service
The mobile data is very slow and it disconnects often when using hotspot. I recently received an invoice with extra charges I didn't recognise. I called the only number listed to enquire. There was a child screaming behind (home based service for COVID?) the customer service. I waited nearly 10 minutes for him to investigate the charge and he said it was a callback fee from vice mail. I have never used the callback function. I also did not call anyone on the date of the charge. When I complained, he said 'I'll give you 50% off for this time onl...y'. I explained again that I don't use the service at all but he kept saying that that's what the system tells him. I asked him for the contact number to lodge a formal complaint, as this should be resolved because it can happen to other people, too. He would not give any contact number. Worst customer service.
Terrible, terrible, terrible
We were with Dodo for quite a number of years. And constantly had issues with our connection. Calling throughout the year numerous times and never getting a resolution, still poor connection 24/7. It was frustrating waiting on hold all those times gettinf no where. When using YouTube through the fetch it would just cut out and restart the whole box over and over so not worth using. We were not able to watch the Fetch channels as they would just freeze constantly. I would not recommend Dodo to anyone!! Such a terrible experience and service.
Worst Customer Service and Setup
Very bad and unprofessional customer service. Received the modem, but the company has taken several days to set up my NBN, and it still hasn’t happened. They claim my roommate’s internet is still connected there, which isn’t true and has been confirmed by their company. Customer service doesn’t operate outside of business hours (because technical difficulties CLEARLY don’t happen outside of business hours) so I now have to wait an additional 2 days before I can contact someone. Additionally, while I was waiting to hear back about my NBN, a cust...omer service representative called and harassed me as to why I hadn’t purchased any additional and more expensive packages. When I told him I wasn’t interested, he hung up on the spot. No information as to what was happening with my NBN. Not happy in the slightest, and an awful waste of money.
Incompetent service provider
Nothing but relentless issues with this provider. First issue was the modem never came and could not be accounted for. Ended up buying one second hand. Line drops out on a weekly basis and end up getting bounced around to 5 different people every time I call with no resolution. Recently called as I was moving houses and explained specific dates for when our internet should be disconnected. Ten minutes later the nbn is cut off. Call up customer service and get bounced around 5 times for over an hour to find out the representative had accidentally cut our nbn already. No biggie they say as they can reconnect us in 5 business days and will not bill is for the 5 days!.. Do yourself a favour and take your time and money elsewhere
Apologies for the " delay " in writing this review. Our Nbn Dodo Internet Is so slow ....dial up would be quicker... Poor....unreliable. Freezing while streaming is a norm. Extremely disappointing when one is paying for a service!
its a crap
the most crap service i have ever used, i was customer last two years. Technicians are foolish.i have 220k flowers facebook and instagram, ill let them know about this crap.

Terrible Customer Service and Experience
Internet drops out all the time - whilst working from home I counted 8 times in 4 hours. I don’t even bother calling support anymore, as you will just bounce around different departments without there being any real resolve to your issue. Also be prepared to wait a significant long period of time, with very little payoff (i.e you will talk to several staff, who will have you unplug and reset over and over, which does absolutely nothing)
Have just changed providers, and despite telling me twice on the phone I am no longer a Dodo customer, rece...ived an email to say my contract can not be cancelled until I return the modem. Dodo are asking for pieces of equipment to be returned that I was never sent in the first place. Expect I will have to pay the $109 fee regardless of what I send back, this company are just after $$$ and do not care at all for customer experience. Never again!
Do not choose Dodo. It will be your greatest mistake!
We have been with Dodo for the past 10 years now and recently our internet speed has not been great. We then decided to upgrade to a much better plan with a much better speed (i.e. from 10 mbpss to 41 mbps). We spent a couple of hundred dollars on a new dodo modem and paid extra for the new plan. After installing the new modem, our internet speed was way lower than before, lowest at 0.5mbps and highest at 5mbps, even lower than our previous plan! We contacted Dodo service 3-4 times in a span of 3-4 months giving the service a chance for improve...ments whilst still paying more from before, however it was still the same old terrible bad connection. We decided to give up on Dodo because of their terrible service and felt we were being scammed. We left Dodo in the end, and now they want our modem back and telling us to risk ourselves to leave the house during this covid period and post it back to them so that we can get a refund for the month we paid for. I understand this is in the T&C but to be honest, the modem is worth more than the plan and they are both very separate entity. We paid for both the plan and the new modem, so if Dodo wants to refund us back something, they should refund us both the fees that we paid for the plan as well as the hundred over dollars modem which was worse than the one we had 10 years ago. I am only very disappointed as what Dodo has become today. :(((
worst company to deal with..... never dealt with a company so bad..... i would not reccommed this service to anyone... there blocking my new provider from connecting by not cancelling my account as yet
DODO The NBN we had to have.
DODO took 5 months of the most rediculous experiences to connect us to NBN after initially telling us we must connected immediately.
The installers included excuses such as suspected "snakes under the house" as delays in the installation process along with missdiagnosed connection issues. My connection had been given to someone else.
Twelve months later we have been alerted that they demolished our storm water pipe during trenching on the footpath side of our property ultimately causing property damage and are now currently putting us through ...
Terrible attitude towards someone signing up
I was trying to sign up with Dodo for NBN100 but didnt have the option to so filled up my details and submitted. The automated machine called me then transferred me to an agent in Manila. I asked her I'd like to sign up on the website is there an option to but she seemed to discourage that. I wasn't fussed so I started providing my details until she asked me for the driving license# and I asked her why would an internet service require a driving license number. She lost it a bit and went on about how she wanted to help me. I said thats ok i jus...t wanted to know why would you need a license number ... she didnt let me complete my sentence and started talking all over me. I am like this is either dodgy or if its Dodo I can see what I am getting into .. pulled back in time and hung up on her.
The worst customer service - cancelled and connected with much faster provider for lower cost! Long wait and really pushy sales team - definitely would not recommend to anyone looking for internet
Terrible Customer Service
Internet connection is not bad but the customer service is terrible. When you call for any kind of technical support, be willing to be on a waiting cal for at least 30 minutes.
Worst internet ever. I can never get a 100% connection.
I cant even connect my playstation 4 at times and at times my mobile device is below a 50% connection.
To be honest I find this service to be an absolute waste of time and money.
When they want to come for fix NBN. They dont come, they said someone cancel. Always give a reason to keep reschedule it. Been waiting for long time. Bad service!
Service barely worked through 12 month period and completely stopped working 7 months in. Had some generic unhelpful bot emails from them Unable to cancel service unless you are able to call them in business hours, then they cancel service no questions asked and don't try to offer any help or incentive to stay. Appears the employees are much aware of how bad they are. The Huawei modems wifi only worked on Apple products (when it actually worked) wouldnt work on anything else at all. And after all that they have the guts to ask for their stanky modem back so they can re use it or you will be fined. Don't do it.

Do you often lie to customers?
For a yr we have had half the speed at 21mbps that we should have 40mbps. We have called and called time after time to ask that you fix the problem or send a technician out.
Your solution of running a speed test every time and telling me that there's no issues on your side and washing your hands of it.
Finally dodo sends a technician out after I escalate it and it wasn't the first time it was escalated... and long behold.. there's an issue with the connection. The technician fixes the problem and ran a speed test and now after a year I get the speed I am paying for.
I spoke to the manager who agreed to pay 6months compensation for this which is what I proposed which I think is fair seeing as I was only getting half the speed right..
I get phone call today with an offer of $70.00!! What an insult.
They are now basing that on usage per month. Lol come on mate, your speed is so slow that we leave things to download overnight .. my plan is unlimited.
I will be escalating this and contacting the ACCC and the ombudsman. If you pay for a service, you expect to get it.
Simple as that.
