Gone downhill in the last year
I've been buying Dollie extensions for a few years now but something has changed in the last year. It now takes weeks to arrive (usually after I email them to prompt them).
- The last 3 batches I try to lighten the ends to match my Ombre hair and NOTHING happens. Not even a slight lift in colour. I tried to lighten a second time and still - nothing! They used to lighten perfectly which is why I continued to buy them. But now nothing.
- I've sent several emails asking if these are even human hair as surely some colour should lift. No response to any emails.
I've now moved on to another company who offer next day delivery and great quality extensions (so far).
I have ordered extensions with Dollie a few days ago now i try to go to the website to check the status of my order and the webpage won't come up ?? Has anyone else had this trouble. I'm worried now as they have already taken my money
Great hair extensions but TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
I've been buying Dollie Hair Extensions for a few years now, and I can't rave enough about the product and how great they look and how long they last (mine usually about 2 years)... HOWEVER they have a serious lack of customer service. The last 2 times I've bought them, they have taken far longer than the estimated 5-10 days to come (eg. A month) and then when emailing/facebook messaging the company, they do not reply.
Something has changed for the worse!!
I’ll begin this review by stating I previously had fantastic experiences with Dollie Hair extensions! In January of 2013 I purchased a deluxe 20 inch set, later in the year I ordered a deluxe 16 inch set, both these experiences were very positive and the hair was of excellent quality! Over the years my extensions wore out and my hair changed colour and I was therefore in need of new extensions.
Unfortunately something has drastically changed with Dollie Hair Extensions. The customer service is now absolutely horrendous!! I sent several E-ma...ils and Facebook messages that were never responded to. However once I stated I would get ACCC involved they immediately responded. They replied stating that my extensions had been dropped into the express post that day, however this was on Tuesday April 18 which was over 10 days after I’d made my purchase! Therefore they’re clearly lying about postage time, I don’t mind waiting the extra time but I’d like to be informed what the real time-frame is, not lied to about the postage time-frame. Thankfully after 18 days my extensions eventually arrived, but be warned they are NOT 100% real hair!! The extensions themselves are nice enough but I don’t think they’ll be long lasing. The extensions smell like fake hair, when I added heat to them there were small remainders of plastic left in the straightener and they feel fake. I previously recommended Dollie Hair Extensions to all my friends but I would now strongly urge people to keep well away from Dollie Hair Extensions. There are better companies out there who don't lie and deliver a higher standard of customer service. Shop else and avoid Dollie Hair Extensions they aren't worth it!

No Response...Money Taken...No Product!!! Yet
I have used Dollie for over 3 years and never had a problem....until 3 weeks ago. Selected 2 sets and paid with after pay. No product sent, no shipping notification, no email back. I have contacted them via both email addresses, instagram and facebook with no response. Is this company even still running anymore. I am now $318 out of pocket. I just want the product or a refund. But at this rate, a response from them would even be a God Send. I am so disappointed, as I used to recommend everyone to this brand. And they have stung me, and as I can...see others, in the last few months. Not happy at all. Will be contacting ACCC, Fair Trading and A Current Affair if this is not resolved. They have set up an account only months ago with afterpay and used the phone number "000000000" which obviously won't get me anywhere. Anyone else infuriated by this, please feel free to contact me to take this further. UPDATED- I have contacted fair trading and let Dollie know and they have sent me an email today saying they were very behind in product. Still doesn't excuse poor communication. Updating my star rating to 3 from 1. If I get my product I will be satisfied.
Missing Order - does not respond to emails or messages.
I ordered hair extensions 1 week ago but did not receive a confirmation email. I have tried to email Dollie many, many times and they have not responded. I normally buy my extensions from them and they are great! Unfortunately that experience has left me disappointed. My experience is just like Chelsea's Review.
Order your hair 2 months in advance !!!
After ordering my first set of hair 2 weeks before a day I needed them SEEING as the delivery estimate was 5-10 working days. My set did not come until 4 weeks after ordering them was so dissapointed I couldn't wear them for my event.
Then I orderd another set a month later after changing my hair color, the EXSACT same thing happend I orderd them a month in advance I even wrote a email stating I needed them on a particular date and still they did not arrive until a week after my event was over.. poor communicatuon, and out of stock
I order the deluxe set, in plenty of time for my daughter's ball, only to have to follow up on the order and then be told they sent me an email, which I never received.. apparently it's was out of stock which when I placed the order it wasn't. I have now sent three emails and receivedo me reply which solved NOTHING. I have now sent another email to ask for a contact number. I'll be extremely P@##%d off off they never arrive as I've payed over $200......
Beautiful hair but one problem
I am a repeat customer and absolutely love the hair but the clips have been changed from when i last purchased. Instead of being flat and discreet, they are now bulky with a roundness easily detected in my hair. It was too late to complain as I had already tried them out and trimmed one piece. I had to really get the straightener around the clips to get the hair to fall in a vertical direction. It went sideways from the clips which are bulky. Not impressed as i spent a lot of money on them.

Deceptive and rude
I decided to treat myself and buy "better quality" clip in hair extensions instead of the usual off ebay. I bought blonde hair extensions because i had blonde hair at the time. one week later i dyed my hair black, so when i got my "100%" human hair extensions i dyed those black two. Once i had dyed them i realised that i had been lied to as there were blonde synthetic hairs through out. And not just one or two, there were many! I contacted the company who told me that "sometimes hair get missed in the dyeing process" So I did it again, same thi...ng happened. So i contacted them again, repeatedly and they ignored me. I was very disappointed that an Australian company would do this but decided as i was getting no response after 2 months of trying I would just use them anyway, but when i straightened them all the blonde hair sizzled up and burnt. the final proof that they were synthetic. Do not use this company they are liars and rude! The postage was very quick Everything!!
